The hotel is very new and modern while the room and bathroom are really spacious. Bed was really comfortable and they provided 4 pillows which improves sleep. The hotel includes free breakfast which had some hot dishes like noodles and chicken poppers. Really good value for money and would definitely stay again.

Free shuttle took really long to arrive and we waited roughly 30 mins. The pick up place was also really hard to find since we were only given the gate number (it was in Departure Area).

Everything was perfect about this hotel. I was stuck on a 15 hour layover and needed a place to crash. This hotel was a perfect welcome after a long day. The shuttle service picked me up around 11pm and I checked into a really nice and clean room that had voice activated controls. The hotel breakfast was delicious and i only wish I had enough stomach room to eat more! Staff was super kind and helpful and accommodated my check out time. When I got stuck during another layover on my return trip, I tried my best to stay here again but unfortunately, the airline put me somewhere else. I will definitely stay here again if I'm ever in Guangzhou!

I was really impressed with the service! We were able to check in as soon as we arrived (8am!), the shuttle to and from the airport was arranged effortlessly, and breakfast was simple but tasty. The room was spacious, clean, and the king-size bed was incredibly comfy — we slept really well! There are a few local restaurants nearby that serve decent food for very little money (just make sure to bring cash — the airport currency exchange kiosk came in handy!). The only downside was the hotel WiFi — it was practically useless — but roaming worked just fine, so it wasn’t a big issue.

Great location if you need to stay near the airport. The transfer was fast and very well organised by the hotel. They are responsive and will call the shuttle van the moment you confirm you picked up the luggage. It's only 10 min transfer. The room is spacious and clean, the check in is fast (but not much communication at the reception as they speak just few words of English). Breakfast is almost entirely Chinese, noodles, fried eggs, toast bread and some veggies could be considered international menu, everything else - hard to say what it is because it's Chinese food. Coffee machine is available too.

The reception staff can barely speak some English, it's recommended to use some kind of translater on the phone (not google because it won't work in China). In the restaurant it's not possible to communicate with anyone as they don't speak a word of English.

We had a 19 hour layover and this hotel was a great option. The shuttle bus was easy and the drive was only about 10-15 min to the airport. Room was great and quite spacious. The area surrounding had local restaurants which was cool to walk around and have dinner (not very touristy and not much English). Used Ali pay and had no issues!

Was a bit confusing to try call the hotel as they only provided a WeChat number to get the shuttle. However the worker at the information desk at Guangzhou airport called and helped out. Perhaps another way to contact the hotel for foreigners would be helpful

Great location to get to and from the airport. Having access to the free airport shuttle bus to get to the airport, and the Metro station there, was very helpful. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff.

No cot was available for our baby. The pick-up from the airport was a little challenging as we did not get an answer to our message, sent on the Booking.com app, saying we were ready to be collected, so we didn't know how long we would have to wait for the bus to arrive, which can be hard when you have a small baby with you.

This hotel has its own distinctive charm, and in my opinion, for the price, it's definitely value for money. The staff are friendly, especially the front office, and although the breakfast is simple, it's tasty and fresh. The only difficulty we encountered was the lack of English-speaking assistance at the airport. My advice for those planning to stay at this hotel is to activate internet and phone services as soon as possible, so you can call the hotel and have translations available in Mandarin. The hotel shuttle pickup is at GATE 43 on the second floor in front of the departure entrance. So, upon arrival, go to the second floor and wait at GATE 43. If you have trouble finding it, ask the airport's customer service to call the hotel for you. Remember, the hotel shuttle is named CLOUD HOTEL, different from the name on Booking.com.

We waited for the hotel shuttle for 1.5 hours, but it didn't show up. However, the hotel manager was very kind. Feeling sorry for our long wait at the airport, he escorted us to the restaurant for breakfast, helped us log in to the wifi, and was extremely friendly.

This is the second time that I've stayed here. Once on the way through to NZ and I enjoyed it so much, I stayed again on the return trip. It's not at (or in) the airport building, but the complimentary shuttle takes 10 or so minutes to be taken to and from the hotel. I couldn't ring the hotel to tell them to pick me up because of my phone network but the guy at the airport enquiry desk, telephoned them for me from his phone and the shuttle van collected me approx. 15 minutes later. It is well worth the short trip. The staff are very accommodating, albeit with limited English. The modern hotel is very comfortable. There are nice amenities, there's complimentary bottled water with a tea/coffee making facility in the room. The shower is fab (especially after a long flight). The breakfast was superb. There was a great selection of all types of food; from congee, all sorts veggies, noodles, fried eggs, toast and jam, fresh sliced fruit and more,, all with a bean to cup coffee machine. What's not to like? Something for everyone I'm sure. The hotel is also extremely good value for money. I rate this hotel highly and would have no hesitation in recommending it. FYI, there's a KFC very near by.

I wish I had more time so I could try out all the hotel amenities. I'm sure I saw a sign for a gym.

The hotel is really nice and newly done. Staff at the reception were friendly. I really liked the Chinese style breakfast. Shuttle pick up from the airport is a great idea that is not implemented the best way probably.

The only problem is staff not speaking any English at all. And shuttle pick up is organised in such a way that when you arrive to the allocated gate you have to call reception and tell them that you are waiting at the airport. But what's the point in this if they can't understand what you are saying?! So you either have to speak Chinese or go to airport customer service and ask them to call the hotel and explain everything in Chinese, then you'll get your pick up. The third option would be to add the hotel on WeChat and text them cause in that case they use translate option and are able to communicate.

Excellent service. Booking was smooth. Communication via Watsapp was responsive. Arrange a prompt airport pickup. The cooked buffet breakfast was high quality. The rooms were clean and well-equipped. Arranged for a late 3pm checkout and shuttle to the airport at no extra charge. The price was also very good at $52NZD per queen-sized room which is incredible value for money.

This place had very few downsides. The location could perhaps be better. Maybe there could be some maps of where to stand when picked up at the airport. The rooms default to opening the curtains when you enter. Usually, I then just shut them again as there wasn't really much view.
