I stayed here for 4 days and wow. This boutique hotel was very special. From the beautiful interior design of the lobby, to the convenient location of nature trails, restaurants and other attractions, and of course the amazing staff. The staff treated me with so much care and love, and were so very hospitable and helpful with specific needs such as ordering a taxi, figuring out which tourist attractions to visit or even finding a great place to eat. The room itself was amazing. I had the pleasure of staying on the top floor and the view was just incredible to wake up to! Bed was so very comfortable and bathroom was super clean and inviting. And of course the bathtub facing the view was the main star! Very very luxurious. Breakfast is complementary everyday and Liz prepares amazing traditional as well as western breakfasts. A very good start to the day! You might bump into other fellow foreign travellers staying at the hotel in the communal lounge and dining room, so it’s a great chance to meet new interesting people and maybe make a friend or two! Please treat yourself to staying at this hotel when you come to Guilin, you will feel so welcomed and cared for. Not much for an issue for me but a taxi ride to the Guilin Town centre was about 18 yuan which is $3 and takes about 10-15 minutes. I didn’t mind at all but other travellers may find this information useful!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at an Bonjour boutique Hotel and I must say, it was an experience that exceeded all my expectations. From the delicious halal cuisine to the comfortable accommodation, friendly staff, and exceptional service, every aspect of my stay left me thoroughly impressed. First and foremost, the highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the mouthwatering halal meals (they prepared especially according to our culture)provided in the morning.The hosts went above and beyond to ensure that each meal was not only prepared with love and care but also represented the rich flavors of authentic Arab cuisine. The variety of dishes offered was extensive, catering to different preferences and dietary requirements. Each meal was a culinary delight that I savored to the last bite. Moving on to the accommodation, the rooms were well-furnished and thoughtfully decorated, providing a cozy and welcoming ambiance. The attention to detail was evident in every corner, from the comfortable bedding to the tasteful decor that reflected the local culture. The cleanliness was impeccable, which significantly contributed to the overall comfort and relaxation during my stay. The hospitality and professionalism of the staff deserve special mention. The entire team was not only friendly and warm but also genuinely dedicated to making our stay as pleasant as possible. Their readiness to assist in any way they could, whether it was arranging transportation, suggesting local attractions, or answering our queries, made us feel truly valued and pampered throughout our stay. It was evident that the staff's top priority was ensuring our satisfaction and creating a memorable experience for guests. Aside from the wonderful amenities and outstanding service.The hotel is situated in a peaceful neighborhood, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it provided the perfect respite from the daily grind. In conclusion, it was an exceptional stay special thanks to the staff!

1) This boutique hotel is locate Lujia Village is a small village on the bank of the Reed Flute Scenic Area and the Taohua River in Guilin. Lujia Village is only 2 kilometers from the center of Guilin. It is one of the first 16 famous villages in Guangxi. They are also known for making tofu. 2) The hotel staff always went over and beyond for us. They helped us book our tour tickets, get a taxi where ever we were, prepared food that we want, and even did online shopping for us. They made the impossible possible for us especially when they were able to find the shirt that my son has been looking for. 3) We didn’t have to travel outside the village to find home-cooked dinner meal , especially after a day of sightseeing! Just about 3 minutes walk from the hotel is our favorite family restaurant. We ate there every night. 4) The inside of the hotel is newly renovated. It gave a vibe of simplicity and functional. I like that they have bathtubs in the rooms that we got. We even had access to the rooftop! 5) Their breakfast is so customizable! They always ask us what if we have any requests the day before breakfast. I personally enjoyed the Guilin Rice Noodles. What an incredible first experience in China!

Nothing really.

We were picked up at the airport late at night without problems. The staff was very kind and helped us to organise various activities in the area, which was great since we don't speak Chinese. Our room and the hotel in general were cosy and stylishly furnished. The breakfast was delicious (different options available, western or local). The location outside the city center is good, with the red flute cave in walking distance. There is also a great restaurant just around the corner.

We couldn't get hot water for the bathtub during our stay. However, I believe this was only a temporary problem with our room or floor, not the hotel in general.

The property is very big and it’s nice and clean. We really liked the two lady that served us. Half way through our vacation, one of us got food poisoning from a different restaurant in Guilin and they nursed us up to good health through diligently serving us foods that could eat even though it was out of the way for them. For that alone it’s a 10 stars 🤩 so if we could, we would give an even higher rating.

This hotel far EXCEEDED our expectations!!! Maggie and Helen treated us like honored house guests. Yes, the rooms were gorgeous!! Yes they were clean…and I am a picky one with clean! The lobby was so peaceful and inviting like a well appointed living room. The breakfast that was served daily was fantastic. All of that pales to how we were treated. They made sure we were well taken care of every step of the way. Our flight got in late, a sweet wonderful and beautiful face met us at the car and walked us in. Maggie walked us to a restaurant close by and put our orders in and answered all of our questions. This happened for each time we went somewhere. They were so very helpful and caring. They made sure we got to where we wanted to go and that we were able to get back to the hotel. I have never experienced such car from a business. We felt like family…as three middle aged women who only speak english, this was the perfect experience for us.

There is NOTHING we didn’t like. We LOVED EVERYTHING!

Helen was amazing. Simply put she made the whole trip for us so enjoyable. Her recommendations of where to visit were great. We arrived hungry and she whipped up waffles for us. Thanks Helen for taking care of us!

Nothing really. The stay was very comfortable. We had the whole top floor to ourselves. I thought the two bedroom unit with living room was a big two story unit but basically it was three bedrooms on the top floor. We didn't use much of the living room since it was a separate unit so actually booking of two rooms would have suffice.

The accommodation is new and nicely decorated. Have been to many hotels and Airbnb but never met a staff as attentive as Helen. Our cruise from Guilin to Yangshou was cancelled due to weather conditions. Helen called and texted us regularly and took the initiative to arrange a private transport for us so that we can still be at Yangshou in the evening and importantly, proposed and recommended many activities for us so that we can still appreciate the beautiul mountains and rivers during our car journey. It worked out very well and in the end, me and my wife enjoyed the car ride and programme so much and we are in fact happy that we have somehow missed the cruise. Thumb up to Helen and the team. Also, your cooking is fantastic and I would highly recommend anyone who is planning to visit Guilin to stay in this hotel.

Everything was Great!!! Maggie, the owner, was amazing! She helped us with everything! She and her facility/structure deserve a lot... Can't wait to visit Guilin again and I can definetely say I'll come back to Boujour Hotel. There's a plus as well, next to the hotel there is an excellent restaurant. They make many fresh homemade dish, and trust me if I say tha was good since with me there was a friend of mine who works like a Chef in Italy. Maggie thank you again, hopefully to be abck soon. After travelling with a group for a few weeks this hotel was exactly what I needed. They have thought of everything, remote controlled curtains, heated towel rack and a spa bath. The staff who work there are a credit to the hotel. They are extremely helpful and really look after you during your stay. I loved the location. A little out of town within the mountains but was very cheap in a taxi to get into town if you wanted to. I went for a sunrise hike and the views were breathtaking from the village! I would 100% stay here again.

The only thing I would say is I had to sit in one of the chairs to view the mountains from my room from the bed it looked into another guesthouse.
