I really like predictable quality in Holiday Inn hotels, the bed was super comfortable, every little thing is available like slippers, bath robe, umbrellata, etc. The breakfast was good. But the real gem of this hotel is consierge Peter who was incredible help. He was pro-active, which is 1st time for us travelling many years in China, he offered help with taxi and booked in advance our airport ride, organized parcel dispatch, his English at excellent level and we could not be more happy to have such a kind and professional person helping us. Thank you Peter, you are the best!

Check in process was long and tiring due to staff claiming problems with my bank card. The fact is that nowadays everyone pays in China via wechat or Alipay, people really have no idea how to use card machines. He tried unsuccessfully many times and finally said that "you should check with your bank, your card is not working", end of conversation, he was not tring to understand what is wrong. Finally older guy stepped in and in 5 secods later payment was done. Personnel should be trained better - if you are not sure, or don't know ask for help from senior staff.

Spacious, well-equipped rooms, very clean. Professional friendly staff. Seen guests from all over the world walk in and out without an issue. Great location, easy access to transport, eateries, and a lot of shopping. Lots of fancy stuff to check out within the vicinity. Perfect base for both leisure and work.

There are a few caveats that we were not really bothered by - the bathtub is not very practical; the gym equipment is broken; breakfast gets old after a few days; and ongoing street construction. The last one isn't the hotel's fault (and the staff have been openly apologetic about it), but one can see that the tiled footpath being used as a driveway is a way to invite more roadwork in the near future. Also being a Holiday Inn, the international brand comes with a bit of markup in the hotel's pricing.

You will immediately notice Manner Coffee. Starbucks is across the street. Turn right on that Main Street and walk to the 2nd traffic light. Turn left at the light and the property is a few hundred yards in front of you. You can see it from the corner so you can’t get lost. The desk clerk speaks English and once checked in will connect your phone for you to the hotel’s WiFi. He couldn’t have been more helpful. The room for one person had two single beds. It’s a classy little place. Very modern with a reasonable price, $60 for one night via booking.com. Considering the location in an international city like Shanghai I thought that was excellent!

They could add an English speaking channel on TV. There was about 40 channels of Chinese and one English station that repeated the same program all night

The hotel is in a cool area, close to restaurants and a wonderful mall. The hotel staff was very accommodating and upgraded us in a beautiful room. They helped with the luggage. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great.

The smell of the soap was not my favorite at all, but that’s personal.

Hotel located very close to a subway station of line 2 and with many shops, restaurants and coffee shops around it. Very friendly and helpful staff (that's my experience in China when I lived there for 7 years). Excellent breakfast. Although many (electrical) cars in the street of the hotel once inside the hotel it was very quiet.

Very good buffet breakfast. Location was less than 10min walk to metro station. Room was very comfortable and quiet. Helpful staff. Weather was very hot but 2 free bottles of water provided in the room every day.

No spoons provided at breakfast for cereal for some reason - had to ask!

Nice Breakfast but they provided the same menus every day. Anyway, there was a variety of the menus like European style, Chinese style and Japanese style for us to choose. There was a small supermarket nearby the hotel. That was very convenient.

No bidet. Some noise outside came into the room and made me wake up in every early morning. The breakfast after 9.00 AM is quite bad. Not hot at all.

*Location is walkable to line 2 metro and they're nearby Starbucks, restaurants and department stores. *Professional staffs' service and warm-welcoming housekeepers at floor 8th every day morning. *Comfy bed and everything u need at room. *Breakfast is appropriate and always well preparing even if the eating time is close to 10:00am.

During my stay in the end of Aug, there was a road construction. Slightly noise from the road at night time. Luckily I had earplugs at sleep.

Great location convenient to everywhere by metro Line 2 and 15. Breakfast is balanced between Western and Chinese dishes, although needs a little more changes from day to day selections, especially during weekends.

Brilliant breakfast with both English/chinese dishes, fruit, cereal, bread on a huge buffet bar. Hot and cold food and drinks and freshly cooked items in front of you as well.
