Room size - generous size and bathroom, too. Amenities - large indoor swimming pool, fitness center, lounge, restaurants, room service. Staff - helpful and pleasant. Staff could do with more English speakers. Concierge - one of the best, got the bags, taxi, and limo arranged in a short timeframe. Very good English and able to help me find some obscure locations and address in chinese. Housekeeping staff - helpful. Tried their best to make the mattress softer for me with padding. Room cleaning could be better. Location - excellent, mall, restaurants, and the metro just a stone throw away. Located away from the main tourist traps and so much more serene.

Mattress - firm mattress used in all rooms. Typical chinese style firmer mattress without the built-in cushion top. The hotel could do with an upragde to standard cushion top mattress. There are no options for me to change the room with a softer mattress.

Room is large and spacious. Can't hear any noise at all. Very good bed/mattress. Large bathroom as well. Air conditioning works silently and efficient, easy to change temperature. Bathroom has shaving mirror, very important! Room cleaning was very quick and efficient, once I had switched off the "do not disturb" sign, cleaning service was delivered promptly. I also like the fitness center which is large and open 24 hrs. I enjoyed the breakfast variety of Asian and Western food (especially noodle soup station and rice congee). Dapuqiao Metro station is only 5 min walk from hotel! Lots of small stores and restaurants plus shopping center in vicinity of hotel.

The executive lounge's Happy Hour is nice, although there could be a better variety of beer and wine. The only two wines available (one red, one white) did not taste good.

Location of the hotel was great. It was near a mall with many food options. The subway station was also just a 5mins walk away. The staff were friendly and tried their best to help me with my requests. The housekeeping staff was especially helpful and even indicated a note in both english and mandarin when he helped me place the fruits in the fridge. He even reorganised the snacks in the fridge so that it could fit my fruits. Kuddos to him😊 The room however had some issues with the air-conditioning. Some days the air-conditioning works fine, and on other days we even had to open our room door to get some cold air in from the alleyway into our room. Overall, it might be worth the stay if you do not mind paying a little extra. However, I do feel that the other hotels around it should just be as good and more value for money

The service level was outstanding! Zhou, one of the multi-lingual, top-notch managers at Pullman Central Shanghai, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. A true professional who takes hospitality seriously. Further, the location was also excellent, at Dapuquiao metro station with a very good shopping center just one block away. Pastry shop and coffee shop across the street were bonuses.

Wish the breakfast would change more often. It gets repetitive after 5 or more days.

I was very pleased with the breakfast selection at this hotel! There was an extensive variety of both hot and cold options. The breakfast area was clean, organized, and welcoming, making it a pleasant experience.

It was a bit hectic due to the holiday season and some events at the hotel and I understand the staff might have been overwhelmed by the crowd, they were not as friendly or welcoming as expected.

The concierge was very helpful, and helped me organize a private tour. I was given am umbrella as it was raining, to use during my stay which was very nice. I also liked the food in the Executive Lounge.

The bed was slightly too firm for me and the beaked beans at breakfast were very watery.

The check-in was very simple. Staff friendly and spoke English. The room was ready in advance for early check-in. The room was quite spacious with a nice view. I especially loved the robots that did deliver and the coffee shop that was located downstairs.

The rooms are bit dated but not bad. I visited during winter, and you couldn't really adjust the thermostat. It was quite hot!

The room was lovely and spacious with a lovely ensuite with a bath, which I loved. We were able to make use of the excutive lounge which was so quite and provide lovely food and wine. The hotel was beautiful and and the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable and most spoke english and that was good for us.

The TV sound was turned down very low and did make it challenging to hear unless you were sitting close, we are in our seventies but neither of us have hearing issues

Room was MASSIVE. Very comfortable bed with a lovely view and great shower/bathroom too. Also the location was fantastic.

Wifi was solid enough, but could be a little spotty occasionally. Also some people broke rules and smoked in the hallways, would be good to see them stopped.

Super convenient location close to metro, TianZiFang and the French quarter. Very clean, fantastic staff very attentive. Breakfast was splendid with lots of choices - Western and Chinese dishes! We have enjoyed our 5 nights stay and high recommended this place to anyone
