My stay at Hotel Splendor far exceeded my expectations. Of course, one should not expect the service and comfort of a five-star hotel; However, I had the accommodation at a really affordable price. Plase take it into account when reading. There were few reviews in English, so I am mainly writing this review to be useful to other English-speaking travelers: I took a risk when choosing such an economically affordable hotel. However, for this price, you can get a reasonably large room, a comfortable bed and acceptable speed internet. The employees usually only speak Spanish, but by using translation applications and some facial expressions, we were able to solve all the problems :) I would like to thank again the cleaning staff who left my room spotless every day and the receptionist Alexander who helped me a lot in every way. The area was also very quiet and safe. You can stay with peace of mind. There are two small Exito shops, cafes and pastry shops nearby. Transportation is very convenient and easy with Uber.

Breakfast is not great nor varied, but still for this price acceptable.

The location was great.

On the first night the lights of the whole hotel went out for a couple of hours. Almost every night the key card of the room reset itself so I had to go to the reception to have it fixed.

Very professional and well run solid older style hotel in excellent condition. Comfortable bed and cotton sheets, good size room and absolutely quiet at night - slept so well. 10/10 for value, quality, service and proximity to airport and services.

nothing - i read some ordinary reviews from 2022 and can only assume these were the result of difficult staffing post Covid. I witnessed the opposite, great staff, managed doing QC on every room and every one very helpful and friendly. Thanks for a great stay.

Good location in Bogota, the staff were good and friendly always answering your questions, nice daily housekeeping and good WiFi

No so many choices on the TV and the laundry service wasn't available at the moment of my stay
