Quiet, relaxing place, the restaurant is a short walk away from the rooms, but has super view. The staff was friendly, recommending good activities and organising transports.

Very close to Minca town so easy to get to on foot from taxi/bus drop off. View from the restaurant was lovely. Well equipped bathrooms and mini fridges. Nicely designed rooms really give the jungle feeling. A mistake with the room booking was frustrating but they moved us to the correct room as soon as possible, and offered us either an additional free night or money back for the inconvenience (plus a free bottle of wine).

Some confusion with the reservation meant there was not an ecohab (which we had booked) available on the first of our 2 nights. Unfortunately we were in a double room right next to reception, so the balcony was not very private. We moved to the ecohab for the second night which was much nicer. One thing to be aware of is that as the location is not far from town, the views are not amazing. Most of the rooms you will look out onto trees, if a view of the valley from the room is important, I'd recommend staying somewhere further up. Some road noise and music from a nearby bar, again if you want complete quiet would advise somewhere more remote.

The views in this hotel are exceptional, our view from the room was so inspiring and in the restaurant you can see the sea and the city afar in the middle of the mountains, giving breathtaking sunsets. I really liked the hotel distribution, each room has it independent hub, and they are connected to beautiful pathways crossing lush foliage and amazing mountain views.

The beds were horrid, the hammock was very uncomfortable too. The room could benefit with more furniture, it lacked a chair, closet to store your clothes, or a desk. Also, a mirror in the room would have been a nice addition.

The breakfast is solid and the staff really friendly and helpful, but for me, what sets this place apart is the magnificent setting, waking up to birds, the splendid mountain vistas and the superb breakfast view down to Santa Marta. It is only 10 minutes' walk or so to the village, yet you seem to be in the middle of the forest. I loved this place. I spent 3 nights here a month previously and enjoyed it so much, I decided to return by flying from Medellin back to Santa Marta before making my way up the mountain for the short journey to Minca.

The Ecohabs Hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from the center of Minca. Our rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. There's a hammock on every porch where you can rest and enjoy the beautiful vista --and sounds-- of nature around you. We were able to get laundry done inexpensively and pick up water bottles, tour info or a cup of coffee in the reception area on our way out each day. There were several choices available for breakfast each morning. The entire staff at the hotel --from the receptionists to the server at the restaurant-- were friendly and helpful.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Basic amenities but good enough. The views from the property are very nice. The Hotel is very close to Minca town, just 5 min walking (uphill but very doable). The only inconvenience is that you can hear the traffic from the road down the hill. It is quite noisy, even at night. But I always travel with earplugs. ;) the breakfast is very basic but nice. The views from the restaurant are gorgeous! I will come back! PS: I recommend getting a full body massage!!

We loved our stay at Minca Ecohabs. The staff is so great and responsive and the rooms are really unique. The hotel is tucked away from the noise of the main town, but close enough to easily walk. The rooms are in the trees and feel secluded. The breakfast staff is beyond amazing and made us feel so welcome each day.

Just noting that the rooms are screened in so there is some street noise and noise from other guests.

Wonderful staff, especially Honey! So helpful and kind! Decent enough breakfast- perhaps some more options for people with allergies would be helpful! Could hear our neighbours in the cabin next door through the night and early morning so didn’t always sleep well. Beautiful, clean accommodation in an excellent location. Overall definitely worth a stay!

Beautiful remote location in the jungle yet reasonable 10-15 min walk to town. Great location. Once we figured out shower (hot on right vs left), it was good and hot, if desired (signage would help).

Breakfast menu was limited, but OK. One of the reception staff (male), could be more customer friendly, helpful and engaging. Motion detection light outside of hut kept us up first night, until we removed it.....apparently, we aren't the first to do so.

Epic view. You really wake up in nature. The breakfast has the most beautiful view I have ever seen. Overlooking the city of Santa Marta and the beautiful nature around Minca. Also the breakfast was nice to have. The hot shower overlooking the valley was insane.

Under the beds there were a couple planks. These planks could move, so the first night I had a bit of a whole in my mattrass. By moving the planks under the mattrass this was easily solved. But they could just nail the planks.
