The staff here were absolutely amazing, super helpful, and kind. The included breakfast is incredible, with a full menu to chose from. Wifi was fast - I was working remotely during this trip and was pleasantly surprised. We ended up with a deluxe double that was at the end of the property, so our shower opened up to the jungle and river below, which was super luxurious. There was a refreshing pool on the property and access to the river below for swimming. A quick walk to the central part of town. Overall, one of our favorite stays ever! We felt so well taken care of, it was actually hard to leave. We would love to come back.

Excellent choice when visiting Minca. Situated about a 15 minute walk from the main section of town and next to the river, Sweet Harmony offers an opportunity to stay off the beaten path. The view from our deck was breathtaking. The bed was comfortable. Room clean. The shower is small but functional. The breakfast was delicious and easily adapted for vegetarians. Strong wifi, which was surprising given the location. Helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommend. A helpful tip is to cross the river by foot to have easier access to the hotel from town. Otherwise, you can also follow the street until you arrive at the pedestrian bridge.

Bring earplugs as the adjacent property (another hotel) happened to have several parties when we were there.

Sweet Harmony is a charming place to stay perched on the edge of a hill just outside of Minca. A car and Google Maps is necessary to reach this. It is about a 15 min walk from town but the road is rough and at night it would be impossible to find (no street lights). We stayed in a little cabin that had a beautiful view of the valley. Our room had A/C but a tiny shower with mildew stains. Our friends' room did not have A/C (mosquito net provided instead) but they had a large walk in shower. Breakfast was good (I recommend the pancake) and the staff was very kind and helpful. There was a wonderful path down to the river just a few feet below the hotel

I would have liked a better shower without the black mold stains. Also a few more way signs would be helpful

The friendly host took great care of us and provides amazing breakfasts. You can feel she does these things with love. The location of the hotel is great, with a small walk you're in the town center of Minca. The room incl. bathroom is comfortable and the balcony gave us nice views over trees and the river (which is not a quiet stream of water, but we were there in the rainy season, of course).

The staff was always very friendly, warm, and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, the room was very clean, and we appreciated the mosquito netting around the bed. We also enjoyed the balcony with a table and two chairs on it. Overall, this was a very peaceful space.

The listing on booking.com gave me the impression that I would be in a significantly different room than the one I received. The lack of air conditioning required us to sleep with the door to the balcony open and between the heat and the sound of the river, we found it somewhat of a challenge to sleep soundly. It was also a bit challenging to locate the hotel initially because despite arrows directing you along the way, Sweet Harmony arrows are missing at a number of intersections. Also, I did not know before arriving that the pool and hot tubs were fed by river water.

Staff were fantastic and attentive, beautiful setting surrounded by jungle and a short walk into the main town. Nice, clean and spacious rooms. Great breakfast with lots of options.

Our room had a shared balcony which we didn't realise, which wasn't a big issue except it was very hot when we visited and the room only had a fan and no a/c meaning we had to sleep with doors open to allow for some breeze.

Very nice location in the forest, the breakfast was great you can choose what you want, so it's not every day the same. The staff was friendly, the swimming pool was nice and refreshing. It wasn't that far from town, easy to walk. We enjoyed the (loud) sound of nature, fireflies and harmony. It's in the middle of the forest so expect insects. There is a mosquito net and the room was in a good condition.

The first night there was a migration of bugs and our room was getting invaded as well, eventho we had the door closed. We were a bit scared for the upcoming nights, but that turned out to be a one time problem. Make sure you don't use much light at night against bugs.

It is a walk out of the town - and one that is uphill, rocky and without any light for some of the way. We had seen reviews about this but thought it would be fine as we are pretty fit, but it was a bit of a pain when it poured down with rain with our large backpacks upon arrival, and when it did so again on the way back from dinner in the dark.

the property is located on the other side of the river opposite the centro. it was very quiet and beautifully landscaped. the staff were so so friendly and kind. breakfast was included in the nightly rate, and was delicious!

I was staying in the main block of rooms, all of which share one large balcony. my room did not have AC, and the only source of airflow were large French doors, but because they opened onto a balcony shared with multiple others, I did not feel comfortable leaving them open all night. it made for a very hot night’s sleep. further, there was no free water on site, and the water available were tiny bottles in the mini bar. finally, I assume this was specific to my room, but the electricity worked but it required a series of flipping on and off the light switches.
