The hotel is beautiful and clean however the pools were not as clean, you can see hair and dirt floating which is questionable since there was not a lot of people in the hotel using the pools, the staff is great and service overall was good too. We had an encounter with a giant spider in the restroom but I guess that's a normal day in palomino the guy from reception came into the room and killed it himself that was awsome LOL. Delicious breakfast however you do not have a lot of options to select, I know breakfast is included so just want to let you know do not expect something fancy or multiple options. they do not have a parking lot so if you have a car or a bike you willl need to pay an extra to leave your vehicle in a safe place.

The beach is about 15 minutes walking. the main street is a dirt road so if you are not lucky and it rains you will have a lot of trouble getting anywhere due to the huge puddles.

Nice hotel, cosy pool and very good breakfast. Reception staff were lovely and location is also great - not immediately by the beach but only a short walk away and close to cafes and bars

Room was not bad but shower was pretty outdated and only had one trickle coming out. Windows opened onto common areas so not much privacy so we had to keep shutters closed meaning the room was a bit of a dark cave. Had what you needed though and bed was decent Pools are very small, pictures are a bit deceiving. Still great to have though to cool off!

Landscaping/decor, breakfast and staff - a beautiful little oasis of sorts amongst the hippy backpacker road. The two pools and lovely landscaping help you relax and unwind (especially after completing the 4 day La Ciudad Perdida trek!). The upstairs room (Hortensia) was great and had a very spacious bathroom, and cool platform bed/built-in nightstands. Daily breakfast included ( we chose"Costena" every time) - a delicious, and welcoming change from arepas - somewhat standard "American" option with eggs, fresh bread, and bacon with fruit and cafe/juice. This helped us start the day in a beautiful environment and feeling well-nourished. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful!! Special shout out to Adrian and Gracy - both went above and beyond! I got to practice my Spanish with them (thank you for your patience) and they were always so willing to help when we had questions or were in a bind. I had issues changing our flight with JetSmart and Gracy helped me call the local call center so I could speak with someone about it and get that squared away (while that proved to not be successful - booo JetSmart, Gracy was so patient and kind!!) Adrian helped me out with numerous things including a different flight/technology issue. So grateful for them and they really helped make our experience so positive - we ended up extending our stay by 3 nights!

While the location was generally good (beach town, and about a 10-15 min walk to the beach), you could hear a lot of the outside street noise and neighboring music, mixed in with their own all-day music. It wasn't always exactly very peaceful, but overall, it was a wonderful place given the nature of Palomino. During our walks we found some quieter places on the less busy streets that could have been nice too, but overall, we're really glad we chose Villa Eden! Again, the staff really made it :)

Beautiful resort, real attention to detail and rooms and surroundiings were really lush and well thought out. Breakfast was great and the staff were super helpful and friendly. Coffee avaiilible all day and a really useful information guide provided for local activities. Paolomino was really a lovely place to end our trip and we loved that there was a wider variety of vegetarian food availible too.

A bit noisy with very loud music often at night which is common all over Colombia. A water refil station would have been very welcome too and it would help stop tourists having to buy uneccessary plastic bottles. There is no room cleaning which is fine but as there is sand outside it was hard to keep this out of the room so a small broom would have been useful too. We were there 5 nights so extra toilet rolls in the room rather than having to go to reception also would be easier. Otherwise perfect, we loved it and Eden was our favourite resort in Colombia.

The place feels like a little paradise! It is so green and the palm trees provide shade on hot days. The room we had was super big and the bathroom was very nice too. Everything was spotless! There are chill out areas, the two pools were nice and clean as well and the breakfast was superb with 3 options. We also had massages there which were not only the cheapest we could find in Palomino but also excellent.

The shower only has cold water- which is generally no problem, however on the day we arrived it was pouring so we would have appreciated a warm shower. No AC and nights get very humid/hot A 10-15 minute walk to the beach

The location is great, on the main street near restaurants and bars but still not too noisy at night. The hotel has 2 pools with lots of shade throughout the day. The room was lovely and there is a pancake option for breakfast. The staff were great too. It was perfect for quiet couples/families looking to relax. We extended our stay because we enjoyed it so much.

Only tiny but the shower curtain did not fit the shower in both rooms so it sprayed water everywhere. Only cold shower and no filtered water available.

Been there during the slow season in November, so Palomino was not yet packed with tourists. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful! The bar creates really tasty cocktails and the breakfast was great for my taste. The facilities are possibly some of the best you can find in town. For us the 15min walk to the beach was no drawback, as you pass by many bars and restaurants.

Almost nothing. The only thing should be to enforce their own rule that no individual speakers should be allowed in addition to the already too loud bar music.

This is the place to stay when going to Palomino. Starting with the friendly staff, the beautiful accommodations and the very clean room made such a wholesome experience. The location was ideal for us, its placed right on the edge of where the business ends and the beach life begins giving you a beautiful stroll through to the beach - passing by all of our favorite shops and restaurants. When we arrived we spoke with the staff about recommendations, and they did not miss. We tried them all and our experience was enhanced because of it. We will be back again, soon!

Very well located, right on the main street but far enough from the noisy bars. The staff was exceptional, especially Adrian. Both pools were great, and the room with its balcony was cozy and comfortable. The breakfast was also very nice. I also love the meditation music in the pool area during the afternoon... great idea!
