This place is a peaceful realm, full of nature. The surroundings are spectacular. The river with clear waters, the small beach, the constant wind, all invite you to rest and relax. Edwin, Edilberto and all the staff were present at all times, alert to anything we might need. What a great service. Nidia and their team at the "spa" were great. Nidia is a skilled massage therapist. Great work on my legs and back! The casa de vapor experience was OUT of this world. We love steam baths and sauna, but the temazcal stands apart. Whoever likes steam baths and or sauna must try this one. It is by the river so you can go straight to it and cool off. Food was really good. It took a while for us to get what we ordered, but it was worthwhile. Fresh natural flavors in every dish. The room was good as well. It was a big king kiosk, with the rest room on one side. The shower had no ceiling, and there was HOT water. Cool indeed.

All was perfect. The price maybe is somewhat high, but I believe this is the strategy to make ONE santuario an exclusive experience.

We enjoyed staying here! unique experience, lovely landscapes, very quiet. The staff is attentive and friendly. The river was great for kids and they enjoyed the private pool. The rooms are large and comfortable, and we enjoyed the (hot) outdoor shower. The food here is pricey, but once we had a meal I was much less upset about the price (and especially once we ate at some of the overpriced , tourist trap restaurants in the town).The food is great - some of the best I’ve had in Colombia and miles above what you typically get here.

There was construction near the river. it’s a very buggy area, but the AC and mosquito nets help with that. I wish they had internet to the rooms.

The little houses had a lot of privacy, I loved the outdoor shower. Staff was friendly and helped us plan some nice activities.

Food was a bit heavy and also expensive, and it would have been great if some of the staff spoke English. Unfortunately we couldn’t really communicate with them because we don’t speak Spanish well enough.

An unique experience. A calm and relaxing ambience in beautiful naturalistic gardens set on a curve in the river amongst the magnificent rain forest of the Sierra Nevada. We were greated with warm face flannels as we arrived to see vivid birds and bright and scented flowers. Sympathetic ecohuts with seperate bathrooms and private open air showers. A stunning central building with library, apothecary selling oils and toiletries grown and made on site, seating areas, and an open central campfire. Daily and varied beautifully presented meals of a quality unmatched in any hotel we've stayed in. Great natural treatments are available on request. The list price for meals was lower on our booking site and was incorrect, so check in advance but the lower price was honoured by Leonardo and the team, which was very much appreciated.

Poor WiFi meant we had some difficulty using our credit cards to settle the bill. The hotel is expensive even by European standards, but it is a luxury experience. You will have to expect insects getting into the room despite the efforts made as this is a rainforest experience.

The luxury and abundance of the nature that surrounds the hotel, along with the exquisite services and experience.

The maintenance of the cabin could be better and the mosquitoes have their special way during certain hours.

Amazing retreat outside of Palomino. Room was super comfortable and large. Food was outstanding. Spa/wellness services were spectacular. We did Thai Massage, Ayurvedic massage and a couples Bioenergetic chiropractic therapy + Acupuncture with their Naturopath, Jessy. I will say this was the highlight of the trip and if you stay not to miss these treatments. Also did the paddle-board to the beach which was great. And they were very accommodating in leaving us down there afterwards so we could explore the beach and town of Palomino a bit.

Other than the Naturopath, Jessy, nobody spoke English at the retreat. We were able to arrange our treatments and tours via WhatsApp and google translate, but it was hard to converse with anyone (ie, at dinner wasn't always sure what we were getting). A trek from Palomino. This is a place you go to stay at the Retreat... not to use as a base to explore Palomino, There was also limited hot water, but wasn't a major issue.

The hotel was beautiful, food was amazing and staff were very kind.

Service has room for improvement. Response times were very slow and more than once they forgot our orders.

This location is magical, fully immerse in the nature. Perfect for relaxing, meditation and some massages. The team also offer possibility to go on some hikes so you can also be adventurous and discover some local gems

Location is great, been so near the river is ausome. The food is first world class

I was in a Tent, it is very confortable. I would be perfect if the tent had more windows to open to cirulate the air.

An incredible place with an inspiring philosophy. Respect is a key word for this place, respect vis-à-vis nature for sure, but also respect towards local inhabitants of these wonderful mountains.
