I booked a least expensive room. The first room I got was a dark small room without a window on the first floor (more precisely it has a window with a screen and when I opened the screen there is a wall from the next building a meter apart). So I asked the receptionist if I can get a better room then he gave me a room with a window facing the street on the second floor which was very nice, with a lot of sunlight. Location is very good, 1 block from the beach and 2 blocks (enough separation) from noisy parque de novios.

I would have felt miserable if I had stayed in the first dark room. There was noise from street until 2 am. Single glazed windows didn’t close completely. If they change this with better insulation, noise can be reduced significantly. I didn’t mind the noise too much because I was relaxed in any case.

Breakfast was very good for what we paid.

Very bad reception experience. We arrived after long and warm tripp yo the hotel. Three summer workers(?) Work at the reception. We booked and had our price set by booking.com. Oneof the reception kids made us wait 1 hour until we got the room because he didn't understand BASIC math. At the end we needed to calculate the price shown on booking.com to him (we showed it several times to him already)

Very friendly staff and close location to Parque de los Novios where you can find lots of restaurants and nightlife. On the other hand even closer to the sea and the beach which you can see from the terrace where the breakfast is served. Free coffee offered at the reception. There's only cold water but that's a standard on Caribbean coast. Typical breakfast (eggs, toast or arepa, fruit bowl, juice or water, coffee).

Very minor things but it would make a difference. They don't give a separate soap so you need to use shower gel. Also an extra small towel for drying hands would be great. Hopefully these little changes can be implemented!

Excellent location, very close to the beach, 1 block away (streets in Santa Marta are very small 1 block is not a big thing) everything is close to the hotel; markets, stores, restaurants (great variety of food options: Hamburgers Fries, pizzas -North American Food-, Arabian food (delicious shawarmas😋) Italian food and of course Sea Food - Local Restaurants- streets are very secure, a lot of police officers in the area, the staff of the hotel is very friendly and Kind, breakfast was included; (decent breakfast) Air Conditioned was THE BEST OF THE BEST!

Even though the TV was a flat screen TV it was not a smart TV, so platforms like Netflix or Youtube were not an option 😐 Movie channels like Discovery was the only option and presented good movies

Staff was super helpful and so nice. I don't know spanish and they did a great job working through the communication with me. The location was perfect - steps away from the water front street, night life, shops, restaurants, etc. The air conditioning worked great. My reservation came with breakfast and it was hearty and delicious. Can't beat the price.

Not having heated showers - but I understand that's relatively normal in Colombia. Makes sense since it's so hot there. I eventually adjusted and by the end I didn't even mind. It felt refreshing from the heat.

Location is rellay good, is in the historical city center and you can reach the beach less than 300m. Staff is ok. You also have a souvenir gallery in front of the hotel. Really good food and party close. Near you will find "Parque de los novios" where ther are a lot of food shops and dance places. I like the hotel in general. You also know that maybe is a little bit noise because of the zone, and the air condition is good but noisy.

Some facilities are old. Not so much space in a room for 3 people. The shower is quite damage and just work the cold water.

location was excellent, right in between restaurant and bar area, and the marina. perfect walking distance to both areas. Breakfast was good, room is small but comfortable.

no hot water, our room on the first floor was close to the lobby, but all night and day we could hear everyone that passed by or was talking in the lobby, asi if they were right there. felt as if there was not much privacy.

I think everything was perfect, the staff was so generous, the breakfast was delicious, the location is spectacular, near from the beach, the cathedral and the restaurants. The bed was really comfortable and the temperature was something else.

The Hotel is perfectly clean, the stuff super nice and helpful and the rooms perfectly equipped with nice and comfy beds. Unfortunately we could not try the breakfast. The location is perfect as is in the middle of the historical part, where the main squares are and the gold museum, also few minutes away from the beach.

The location is amazing, close to the harbour, and right in the historic area of Santa Marta. Breakfast was very good and the view from the terrace was spectacular.

Room 103 has no sound insulation from the front lobby. You can hear every word spoken.
