The property is great. Beautiful and well designed. The yoga studios are amazing. Salt water pool is nice. Restaurant and food choices are well thought out and healthy.

The location is in Nosara. Unfortunately there is only one paved road and all the others are dirt. The dust generated from the traffic is very thick and unhealthy. My wife and I both developed walking pneumonia just from walking 3/4 mile to the beach and town.

The staff was generally terrific and the location is beautiful with fantastic yoga shallahs, streams and lush vegetation running through the extensive grounds (with howler monkeys and iguanas and great birds) and a great infinity pool and juice bar.

The front desk was a bit rigid- they run a shuttle to the beach but refused to deviate from the set path to be helpful and offered as an alternative a $25 taxi for a 4 minute ride. Also a little stingy on the yoga tokens, not offering one for the day of check out. I brought my kids and some of the guests were judgmental

This place is amazing for solo traveler. You meet with amazing people: other expects, groups on retreats, and locals. There are so much to do: great place to work by the juice bar or in your cool casita, take a dip in the salt water pool, catch a wave and do a delicious yin class.

Surprisingly after tipping at juice bar, restaurant, and spa you receive an optional "tip paper" to fill out at check out to leave tip for everyone who works onsite. This was new to me and did not agree as you already pay plenty for the rooms plus always reminded to leave tip at all the service places

I stayed with my 14 year old daughter and my mom at the Bodhi tree for a week. We all had a fantastic time! The rooms were comfortable and clean, the beds were comfortable, and the fans and air conditioning were great in the rooms. We did yoga, went surfing, and relaxed by the pool. All the food we had was delicious! We will definitely be back!

Incredibly beautiful property with spectacular trees, bamboo, tropical flowers. The yoga studios are insane, especially the one overlooking the ocean. Loved the juice bar and the community vibe of the space, with couches, swings etc. the pool was nice, the rooms are very comfortable and the patio was large. Just loved the whole vibe of Bodhi Tree!

I wish they had a hot tub in the pool area.

Warm welcome and excellent service from the first till the last minute. Exceptional food from the kitchen and at the Smoothie Bar. Top class teachers from around the world. Studios designed nicely and are very good equipped!

The electricity supply could have been better, but this is suppliers responsibility.

It is removed from beach and town which is fine if you’re looking for retreat but becomes tiring as the desire to explore rises with rest and restoration.

It’s so beautiful, you really feel like you’re hidden away in the jungle. The yoga classes and workshops on offer are fantastic. the food is delicious and the staff are super friendly.

Initially, we were in a jungle room which was so tiny. They include an outdoor area in the square metre space but in this heat, that’s not where you want to be. And you have to go outside to get to the toilet. The hotel were great and moved us to a much better room for no extra cost. Also, in both rooms, there were automatic light sensors which seemed to come on and off all night and the curtains are very thin so it lights up the whole room - so bring an eye mask

Great amenities like yoga, pilates, spin classes; fully furnished gym; mini fridge & our own outdoor seating area; juice bar cafe; generously stocked towels & robes; quality bedding; powerful A/C; generously sized room; extremely helpful staff who made efforts to make our stay and transitions as easy & comfortable as possible

Loved the included buffet breakfast. The pool, fitness centre and yoga classes were excellent.

Better communication on check in. Accommodations were a distance from the main building which I would have liked to know when booking.
