Best accommodation of my trip through Costa Rica! The view and pools were stunning, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Although I read some reviews about the road to the hotel being difficult, it was no problem at all, even after big storms. The staff was friendly and helpful. 100% would recommend this place - it is the ideal spot to relax after hiking/beach days

If you don’t have your own car, just be aware that the walk from the beach/town is not that long but quite steep (especially during hot days not easy)

The setting at this property is spectacular! If you are looking for a place that is quiet with beautiful scenery over looking the ocean. Look no further. My recommendation to the manager is to have drone video footage of the property so quests could see the layout of the casita's, pool area and grounds.

The road going into the parking lot was in serious need of repair. I drive a Mitsubishi Outlander and ended up damaging the bottom engine protector due to how deep the ruts were when trying to get my car into the parking lot. I highly recommend that be repaired as quickly as possible.

Beautiful grounds, with 2 pools, lounge chairs, mini restaurant. Accommodation was stand alone private bungalow, with private outdoor shower. A couple decent restaurants in walking distance if you are up for some hill walking.

Rooms are quite basic and could use a slight refresh. For a king sized bed they use two single beds and put them together. That was not comfortable. I kept telling my husband that was the continental divide! It was a big hump. It's a good hike up the hill from Montezuma town. Good challenge, but can be a dissuasion from making the trip. On location restaurant has a limited menu and more expensive than it should have been.

The views from the property and the apartment that I stayed in were absolutely incredible looking out over the jungle and the sea. You could see the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening. The apartment felt very private and had a good sized balcony with multiple chairs, table, and hammock to relax in. The inside of the apartment was very clean and just the right size for one or two people. I was traveling without a car and since the shuttle picked me up down the road (about a 10 minute walk from the property) the owner volunteered to drop me off at the pick up point early in the morning which was very thoughtful.

I would just suggest a few more kitchen items would be good to have like a cheese grater, Tupperware, etc. but other basics like pots and pans, utensils, dishes, coffee machine were all there. And it wasn’t a problem for me, but just something that others should be aware of is that the property is about a 30 minute walk mostly uphill from the beach. I walked this up and down on my own each day but it was definitely a workout.

Loved our apartment and the balcony with a spectacular view. We had lots of privacy which we enjoyed. The staff were helpful when needed and the kitchen was pretty well equipped as we made some of our own meals, Montezuma itself was a drive away but it was nice to be in the hills and enjoying the wildlife (butterflies, birds, iguanas etc) and peace and quiet.

Nothing! I just suggested to staff to please update their website with the directions in English as the road is now paved from Cobano to Montezuma so they were inaccurate. Also, their sign was not very visible in the daytime and even less at night. We got lost and had no signal.

Casitas Sollevante exceeded our expectations. The location was even more beautiful in person, there were two pools, one zero depth entry and one deeper infinity pool. The flowering plants next to the pool smelled amazing. There was a very thorough cleaning service each day which was especially nice since you could not flush toilet paper, which is common in CR, and because the floors got a little sandy from our trips to the beach. They would even wash any dishes we didn't get to. There was also an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand which was very useful. The indoor bathroom included local organic handsoap, bodywash, shampoo and conditioner that all smelled lovely. That was an unexpected plus. The onsite restaurant was excellent. The pool and the extraordinary view were really the highlights for us.

The only downside is there wasn't a great way to walk into town or the beach. We had a car so it was a quick drive, but it would have been lovely to have a walking path to town. Also, the house could have used a few more kitchen utensils.

Casitas Sollevante is the most beautiful place to stay in Montezuma. If you stay in one of the villas closer to the ocean, you can view the ocean, hear the break and see monkeys climbing in the trees next to you. I love the fact that there is a private chef who makes incredible meals. We enjoyed five different types of pasta when we were there.

There’s nothing that I do not like about this property.

The room was super clean and the view and the pool were amazing. It's even better than the photos. The staff were friendly and helpful, easily accommodating food allergies. The food in the restaurant was outstanding. There's a lot of wildlife in and around the hotel. They manage insects very well using ecologically friendly methods. I really enjoyed the stay.

The road to the hotel would be a tough walk from the main road with luggage. I got dropped off directly but the larger tourist shuttles don't go down the road. Not a problem for me but there's were a lot of lizards in the room (I thought they were fun) but if you're scared of them then maybe this isn't the place for you.

The view was stunning, the staff (although minimal) was friendly and helpful, the small on site restaurant was a surprise and made the most delicious food. The bathroom of our room was outdoors which does allow some bugs and salamanders into the room so if that isn’t something you can handle don’t stay here. But we loved the view of a giant plam while showering!

Our king mattress was rather hard and was two smaller mattresses put together leaving a very noticeable seam in the middle of the bed.

The pools were amazing as well as the attention by the staff. They were kind and prompt in solving any request or problem. We loved the BBQ villa with the ranch I even though we couldn’t use it as it had to many mosquitos. The views were just amazing and the garden wonderful and well maintained.

Many mosquitos but they gave us great mosquito tents for the beds.
