You couldn’t get a more private and beautiful beach location. Its picture post card beautiful beach is just out of this world and honestly would be difficult to beat given it’s literally a 2 km private beach…max 10 people on at any one time! Pool was really nice and swim up bar a nice touch. Our kids enjoyed the smoothies and we enjoyed the cocktails! The hotel looks like something out of a Roger Moore based James Bond movie. Tonnes of charm and unbelievable setting.

Breakfasts were pretty basic, not unpleasant but perhaps not quite 4* hotel standard. Sometimes felt some of staffs smiles were a little jaded or forced, not all.

The room was incredibly comfortable, with large windows offering stunning beach views and modern, cozy decor that felt like home. Just steps away, the pristine beach with soft white sand and turquoise waters provided a peaceful retreat, perfect for sunrise walks or sunset views. The pool, surrounded by lush greenery, was an ideal spot to relax, with crystal-clear water and comfortable loungers. Every aspect of the stay, from the luxurious room to the beautiful beach and serene pool, was simply wonderful—creating unforgettable memories in a stunning setting.

We stayed in the tropical suites which were great. Set in quite a remote beautiful location with fantastic views and an abundance of wildlife. The staff were great and was made to feel very welcome. Had a great time and didn’t want to leave. Would definitely recommend.

More of a recommendation than a dislike, but due to the location you really need a hire car or you may feel a bit stranded.

The view of the beach was spectacular.

Our dinner on Valentine's evening was somewhat of a disappointment. It took over 30 minutes for the food to arrive after we placed the order. Also, the waitress let us know when we were ready for the Valentine menu desert that they were out of the two choices. I asked if we would be able to have the desert cost removed from our order and she said that we could not. She did offer an alternative of ice cream but I was disappointed in how she handled it. There should have been enough deserts for everyone that night.

Beautiful location with a private beach. The rooms were clean, the staff lovely, and the included breakfast quite good. There was a pair of wild Scarlet Macaws cruising the grounds of the hotel which was amazing.

The facility feels a bit dated, and the beach had tons of garbage washed up on it. A crew from the hotel could have it spruced up in a day.

We had a wonderful stay at Tango Mar! The location is absolutely stunning! We had a gorgeous ocean view! The pools were beautiful. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was fantastic, very kind and friendly. The owner of the resort was also wonderful and checked in with us at dinner and breakfast to make sure our stay was going well. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset from a viewing point on the property. Our dinner at the restaurant was delicious. We would recommend this resort to anyone. We hope to return someday!

Amazing beach and beach view around the hotel. Pretty nice and quiet off the busyness of Montezuma. Various pool locations around the property.

If fully booked out, the pool area might be somewhat crowded and we are not sure if enough sunbeds would be around to cover a fully booked Tango Mar Resort. Pool bar is cute, but drinks are quite expensive, given the lack of competition around the premises.

The property is BEAUTIFUL! The tropical foliage itself made my stay as well as waking up and going to sleep to the sound of the ocean. The staff is wonderful and very welcoming! First class service all five days I was there.

There was nothing to dislike - the property is in a very secluded part of the island and the road to get there is tough but the fact that it is not accessible to just anyone made me feel a little more secure .

Hotel was absolutely wonderful. It looks like paradise. That ocean was so wild,clean and that nature around was maggical! Staff was friendly and answer our questions with smile, we like Sarif and Javier very much! Food was tasty and we love everything about this stay!

Location, around this hotel is not much to do, if you want to go to nearest city(Santa Tereza) be ready that 30min by taxi cost around 60€. Taxi is really overpriced! But hotel is so beautiful that you can stay there forever. :)
