Everything!!! The hotel has a great location overlooking the beautiful Adriatic Sea. Each room has a balcony where morning coffee is a must. Greenery around the hotel is amazing. Facilities, friendly staff, breakfast, outdoor seating areas, etc. are really great. Buggies are available to transport guests to lower hotel's beach or to the walking path that takes you to amazing city of Cavtat.

The only thing was that some of the guests were "abusing" the system and booking too many sunbeds. Once, I counted 17 beds taken by 3 families (some used in the morning and some in the afternoon), while other guests were laying on the floor. Also, bringing their own music and disturbing others. I would suggest that the hotel needs to develop a system restricting the number of beds / towels per guest and maybe writing some instructions related to noise.

Breakfast was great and especially sitting outside but only if you breakfasted after 7am. Pool area with showers lockers and changing rooms were excellent

We got a bit confused about whether we should be going up and down in the lifts and finding pool etc but soon got the hang of it

The hotel is very close to Dubrovnik airport, which is convenient. The staff are lovely - very helpful. The sun terrace areas are fantastic. The spinnaker restaurant is really good too. Returning to the hotel from Cavtat could be challenging if you have mobility issues - there are lots of steep stairs to negotiate, however the hotel have a golf cart style vehicle to bring guests up and down.

The breakfast buffet was a bit samey and sometimes we had to wait a while before being offered tea and coffee. The housekeeping service was a bit haphazard. They came into the room several times, despite the Do Not Disturb sign being lit. Soap and shampoo dispensers were often not replenished. One time they left only hand towels, no bath towels.

The resort was amazing and always something new to see each day. We stayed 6 nights and I still don’t think we saw it all. You could go on a new walking adventure each day around the hotel itself. Restaurants had great food- lots of options. Pool area was lovely and access to private beach we got a lot of use out of. Be aware of the stairs to go into town (~131), they keep you fit. Access to the shuttle down the cliff was also great for those times where we didn’t want to tackle the stairs.

Breakfast had a great range but didn’t really hit the spot. There was a lot there but not overly tasty. Cleaning - the room was “cleaned” everyday however, our dirty glasses and mugs were not taken and replaced and floors were not cleaned.

The hotel is massive. It was very good value for money. Staff were attentive, the service was very fast in the restaurant and there were a lot of choices for breakfast and dinner. We thought the food was good and varied. The views were amazing and the hotel was a short walk to the centre of cavtat. There was a beautiful walk from the hotel around the peninsula and many places to stop for a swim.

Unfortunately the beach wasn’t open yet even though the weather was good. The prices for soft drinks etc at the bar were expensive and given this is a five star hotel, I would have expected water to be freely available which it wasn’t and it cost 4.80euro for a large bottle!

Great location and facilities, baby friendly hotel. The views from the sea-view room and the restaurant are absolutely stunning!! The rooms are spatious and the attention to detail are spot on (placing a small piece of chocolate by the nightstand every night - very nice!)

Many spaces look very old, especially the main restaurant. Food is mediocre at best, even the paid restaurants use very low quality ingredients. While raw fruits and veggies were usually good, the cooked food was not very tempting. The fact that they didn’t manage to find an iron for the whole duration of our stay was very frustrating.

If you're reading my review, trust me, just proceed with your booking. In my opinion, it is one of the best hotels in the whole Europe, if you take into consideration the location, the quality of service, the view, and the food, not mention the very reasonable room rates. The value for the money is excellent. It is hidden in the woods with many nice walking pathways. The location is perfect, almost 20 min driving to Dubrovnik center, and few minutes walking to the Cavtat village which contains a lot of restaurants over the sea. It's almost 1.5 - 2 hrs driving to Kotor and Tivat ( Montenegro). The room is spacious and sparkling clean. The balcony is spacious as well, with stunning, panoramic views on the sea. The hotel has everything you need for a perfect holiday. A beach (rocks) , excellent food, spa, kids' playground, swimming pools, and tours to Montenegro and Bosnia. The breakfast is good with wide varieties however it closes at 10:30 which is a bit early if you want to enjoy some sleep during your holiday. I liked the active lobby during the evenings with live piano music. The staff are professional and kind. There is free car parking with golf cars that can take you to the parking and the village.

It was a perfect stay, I'd give it a 10/10. However, I had issues with the AC. The room was too warm for me, and there was no cold AC as we were in late April. The lowest temperature in the room I can get was 22-23, which is a bit warm for me, and i could not sleep well. The only choice was to open the windows and suffer the sea waves noise. They told me that AC is central and they can not change it to cool mode as some clients were complaining. They promised me a portable fan , however, I never saw it 😅😅 That was the only complaint.

Upgraded rooms are very nice. Big improvement on previous decor which was a little tired. Views from the sea view rooms are stunning. Worth spending a little more for these. Good breakfast with a range of items to suit everyone. Cavtat is a beautiful town and is a 5 minute walk away. Loads of nice restaurants and bars. Nice pool and sea/beach areas to enjoy

Whilst most of the staff were very friendly and helpful we felt some could have been a little more accommodating with requests. We had booked, and had email confirmation, of two twin rooms but on arrival one of these was a double and apparently was not possible to change which I find hard to believe in such a large hotel. We also had this issue on our last stay I might add. Small requests like checking out an hour later than policy was also declined for both rooms. Little things that do leave lasting impression

Loved the view more than anything of the sea, super close to airport was a 6 min uber ride. Staff were super helpful and friendly especially on my last day when I had a late flight and what to do with robe once done with the pool etc. I loved the bed so much so comfy and getting to Cavtat port was fast. Recommend asking for lift down and up if not as able to walk stairs are chunky! Can get a water taxi easily to Dubrovnik or the bus from the terminal is less than 10 euros there and back. The piano bar was a wonderful highlight and as a solo traveller loved listening and taking my book one evening. I don’t know why anyone is complaining about the breakfast - they cater for everything and will be something you and kids would like and enjoy. The gym is good, have dumbbells and few cardio machines. A stair master would be a welcome addition I think just as an extra option as cardio area was popular! Other than that.. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough and will be back!

There was nothing I didn’t like, will be nice to be back when the beach and restaurant on the port is open. Was a wonderful trip!
