We stayed 5 night, family of 5 in 2 bedroom. It's a perfect place if you want to just relax and enjoy the sea and the sun. I have put everything in points below to make it easier for the readers. Hopefully some of below information will be useful as the reviews greatly helped me and I chose this place based on reviews. 1.Apartment: clean, modern and new apartment 2.Swimming pool: 2 big swimming pool and plenty of chairs 3.Bar: at the top with amazing view, a nice place to have a coffee and other drinks 4. Sea : probably one of the best sea in the area, amazing for snorkeling. It's just in front of hotel with plenty of space. I recommend to buy rock shoe and snorkeling kit. 5. Animation : usefully if you have young kids, our kids loved it. 6. Supermarket : probably you would need to go to Medulin. Plodine it's just 10 minutes drive. They have one inside but very small and not much choices. 7. Game room: small but kids still loved it. 8. Parking: plenty of on site parking 9. Changing towel every 2 days. 10. Massage beside the pool, my wife she tried and she found it really good. 11. Family stay: the place is designed for families but at the same time you will find it peaceful Overall a very good experience and highly recommend. Glad that I chose this place. I would recommend del mar to take better pictures of their facilities such as game room, animation, sea, bar etc it was clear from pictures.

1. Restaurant : it took them 1.5 hour to prepare our pizza. We didn't go back after that experience 2. Staff : overall it's all good but I think there is language barrier and some are not well trained. Probably because the place is still new.

The location of the resort may seem a bit far away, but was actually perfect. It is very beautifully situated close to a nature reserve. The resort itself was very pleasant. The beach was small but nice (you do need beach/aqua shoes and be aware that beach/pool towels are not provided) and the pool area was perfect with lots of sun beds. Breakfast was good and offered a good selection and variety. The apartment was clean, spacious and well equipped with plenty of tableware, pots and pans etc. The beds were comfy albeit a bit on the hard side.

Smoking should not be allowed anywhere in the restaurant. I know it's not allowed inside, but as most people prefer to sit outside when the weather permits, everybody should be able to enjoy their breakfast, lunch or dinner in a smoke free environment. I wished the bar had more generous opening times and why not serve small dishes and snacks throughout the day?

1. You essentially do not need to leave. Everything, from facilities to entertainment, is there. 2. The breakfast is the most extensive I have seen and the food is delicious! 3. The bed is very comfortable and shower is very good. 4. Everything is relatively new. Honestly, the first time in my life I had a room with everything (and I mean everything) just worked! 5. The place is CLEAN.

1. Our experience with the staff in the restaurant was not great. During our only lunch: Olives were requested on the pizza, to which the waiter said it was no problem. The ordered pizza did not have the olives, and missed half the other ingredients. When asking about it, we were told the menu was wrong and it should be like this. To top it off it was impossible to get the attention of the waiters on other occasions, including payment. 2. A detail that should be obvious when booking: Pula is still half an hour away. As you have to go to Pula to explore the rest of Istria, it adds an additional hour drive. Consider this if not renting a car.

The hotel is perfect. The international staff maintaining the entire property are doing an excellent job — they are friendly, supportive, and attentive. The main manager also deserves recognition, as everything runs smoothly and efficiently; everyone clearly knows their role and responsibilities. There is convenient outdoor parking, as well as underground parking for cars. The on-site restaurant offers reasonably priced meals with very good food quality, making it unnecessary to leave the hotel grounds during your stay. I will definitely return to this hotel. My only recommendation: please do not raise the prices and continue maintaining this high standard — if so, you’ll remain one of the best hotels in the Istria region.

Only one suggestion regarding the mattress — it is too hard, even for me. Believe me, I’ve slept on many different surfaces in my life, including a wooden door during my student years, and this mattress felt quite similar. It seems the person responsible for selecting the mattresses may have made a less-than-ideal choice. Additionally, the hotel could further improve its ranking if the beach had sand instead of gravel, especially at the entrance to the sea. Otherwise, water shoes are necessary.

The room service is entering your room without permission even if you have a Tag don’t enter. Phone reception is really bad and not friendly. I almost cancelled due to not to be friendly. And even if I could plan longer online the girl at the reception told me NO and afterwards Yes but it was much expensiver than your official online rate. I hade no option I had to agree and pay more and planned was till Sunday but I had to Saturday because apparently there was no space anymore. Even it was online free

It was our second visit here. What change from the last visit: Navigation sign placed correctly, A/C on the corridor was finally always turned on - great. A/C in the apartment working well. Drying rack on balcony, terrace spacy, free parasols and loungers (beach as well). Cleaning every second day. Lidl, Plodine in the next village (3km). Apartment 35 m2 - big enough. Price for meal stayed the same - compared with last year. 2 pools clear and clean with warm water.

Parking fee in the garage 5 EUR/night, mattress so soft, access to the sea not very comfortable - rocks. Ice-cream price increased from 2 EUR to 2,50 EUR/scoop. Apartment door needs to be opened by harder push. Very noisy door during closing, especially at night.

We have chosen Residence Del Mar for family vacation. Traveled with 2 children and booked Deluxe 1 bedroom apartment. The size was good for 4 people, modern apartment with large balcony. The breakfast was nice, offered many options for adults and children. We did not have a problem to find a place on the beach or by the pool at any time. No need to reserve the spots. We have also booked parking garage what I would recommend as there is a lift from parking garage to the apartment what makes move in and move out comfortable.

Unfortunately we had to wait until 4PM to get the room key. Not a big deal, but if early check-in was possible I would consider it. For people that expect "night life" they need to go to Pula that is 10km away.

The hotel has two great pools and a beach in the hotel area. Sunbeds included. Clean apartments. It’s a great area for relaxation if it weren’t for animation team playing loud music.

Loud music from the animation makes it a bit hard to read or listen to a book both on the balcony but also on the beach or in the pool area.

Pools were beautiful. Outdoor areas stunning. Apartment was spacious and very new. Pull down double bed was a bonus. Clean and well serviced.

Bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable for me with my hips. Pillows were very high luckily I brought my own. Water tasted of chlorine so tea wasn't very nice. A bit noisy on the balcony with traffic going past. Restaurant food wasn't very hot. Road to Pula,was very windy and through tiny villages.

New and modern apart hotel, apartment was big and the kitchen had everything you need for cooking. All apartments have big balconies, we had a balcony with garden/pool view and it was nice. There are two big pools and each has a kids safe zone that was very convenient for us as we had a toddler. There are a lot of sun-beds around the pools and in the beach. The beach itself is rocky and not suitable for small kids. You need to wear special shoes to avoid troubles. In addition we enjoyed everyday kids animation, live music in the evenings and the gym.
