The staff at the hotel were always very helpful. One even did research about a site we wanted to go see but were unsure if it would be open given the fact it was Easter Weekend. She contacted the site, got information and then relayed it to us. With the language barrier this really helped us ensure we didn't drive a couple hours only to find the site closed. They did the little things that helped our stay be that much better. It is a small family run hotel and they did an excellent job, PLUS, the cafe attached to it served DELICIOUS food.

I usually have something to say in this, but for Klika, I do not.

Is a very homey establishment. Small and cute. Not many rooms. They have their own restaurant which make it perfect for business meetings over good Czech food. My room had two single beds. Towels and toiletries are provided, which is not common in Czech Republic unless you go to a big chain hotel. The in room bathroom was clean and cleaned every day. Bed mattresses were quite firm and two different heigh pillows were provided. The personal was beyond helpful, they understand and speak English very well but the establishment is, I think, thought more with Czech clients in mind. So knowledge of Czech language is useful and appreciated. If you have heard about the abysmal client service that is so common around Czech Republic you can appreciate the fact that service in this hotel and restaurant was kind and actually helpful. I travel alone, and as a woman I felt safe in the hotel. No weirdly placed radios/mirrors or strange point of light over the bed or in the bathroom. Internet connection was strong and continuous in my room. Enough to have a few zoom meetings without a hitch. Breakfast was included in the room price. Breakfast is provided in the adjacent restaurant. The buffet, although small, it was well stocked with savory and sweet alternatives. Fresh vegetables, fresh fruit, yogurt, and most important a comercial coffee machine.

very well located, right in the heart of the city's main attractions (center, river, cobblestone streets) which was just awesome, private and secure parking lot (chip access), breakfast included, hotel also has its restaurant (food and service is very good), very nice and helpful staff

access from room to breakfast area was a bit iffy (1st day I had to go out of the hotel, get back in and only then could I reach the room, on 2nd day issue was fixed by opening the locked door between separate entrance and breakfast/restaurant area), bathroom space was a bit narrow, room seems a bit old, still in good state, but could use maybe a new design/redecoration, some sheets were not 100% clean (some small stains and a bit dirty on the edges, nothing too serious though)

The room we had was the suite with the sauna. It was fabulous! The room is large and the private sauna was fantastic. There is also a refrigerator in the room which was helpful. The breakfast was a nice selection and fresh. I recommend going early though because if you go at the end, the food is picked over and not as fresh (I don’t believe they replenish as the morning goes in).

The only thing I would say is the room wasn’t super clean. The carpets and floors could have been vacuumed and the room wiped free of dust.

Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Great location. Good value for money. Good choice of breakfast.

Room was basic with no view from the window. No tea and coffee making facilities in the room. For the cost however it was still good value for money. The shower over the bath needed replacing. Due to hard surfaces on floors it could be noisy at night especially when one couple had drinks in the entrance hall late at night and were loud.

I was assigned a delightful room in what felt to be a tower. It was up several sets of stairs, but with a beautiful view, a large bed, and a loft available for any children traveling.

It was a bit warm. A small fan would have helped tremendously.

Had a spacious and comfortable suite on the top floor, although with quite a few opportunities to bump your head. Very charming location at the waterfront. Great start for walks through the lovely alleys of Ceske Budejovice. Short walking distance to the main square. Breakfast was adequate.

The water pressure in the shower is a bit lower than I like.

Bit outdated, but everything worked. Sauna stones should be better and more. Soap and shampoo should be in bottles/dispenser, not small bags.

Close to excellent facilities, sites and the park - a lovely location. Staff friendly and welcoming. Would consider staying again. Breakfast was continental but also with some cooked options.

Little bit noisy in evenings. No air-conditioning.
