A hotel with a long tradition, although its glory days are long behind it, it remains a very pleasant place to stay. Its location is particularly excellent – in my opinion, in the most interesting tourist spot in Liberec – surrounded by numerous interesting attractions and surrounded by numerous interesting attractions and eating and drinking options. The possibility of reserving a paid parking space in the gated courtyard is a great option. We loved the breakfast – both the dishes served and the breakfast room itself, with its views. The hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. Instead of a room with a terrace and mountain views, we were given a room without a balcony overlooking the inner courtyard with a parking lot, but that was because it was the only available room with the double bed we requested. And I do not write about this as a shortcoming of the hotel, because the staff behaved honestly and we paid for the basic version of the room.

The idea of having a sink in the room (even a fancy one) instead of in the bathroom is not a good one – it's missing in the bathroom and in the room it's inconvenient.

Art deco era hotel with original details throughout. We stayed in one of the new penthouse rooms with a balcony with beautiful views of the city, including a birds eye view of the spires of the church nextdoor. It was very quiet and comfortable, and featured a decorative and very effective solution to blocking light (see photos). Terrific full breakfast in the 3rd floor dining room with great views of surrounding grand old buildings. You can even choose to eat outside on a little balcony overlooking the town square!

Very friendly and willing hotel staff. We needed rooms in an emergency situation, and they delivered. We were given a spacious hotel room with historic Art Nouveau furniture and a view of the main city square.

Somebody must have been rowdy in the apartment before us. Whole room smelled of cigarettes; the odour wasn't overwhelming though. There were cigarette burns on the rug and bathtub. One of the windows couldn't be properly closed. The breakfast was sufficient, but don't expect anything extra.

I loved my stay at this hotel. The apartment is clean and well-maintained. The location is excellent, just a minute or two from all city attractions, shopping centers, and restaurants. Parking is in a safe, fenced area, which meant a lot to me since I came by motorcycle. Everything I needed was within walking distance. The only downside was the internet speed, but with mobile data as a backup, it wasn’t a problem. I would happily stay here again.

Fantastic location in a really beautiful and classic building. Absolutely loved riding in the old lift! The cafe on the ground floor had excellent coffee. 24 hr reception. Staff very helpful, I asked for an extra pillow late at night and the receptionist found one for me.

Room was absolutely basic. Old furniture, narrow single beds. Had to climb under the table to unplug a lamp to charge my phone. No hairdrier, no kettle, no fridge. Admittedly I booked the cheapest room, perhaps the more expensive rooms would be more comfortable.

Staff, reception, room facilities and size, bed quality and location, which is a must for who needs to be very close to city center. In my case that needed quick access to my workplace, I enjoyed a lot. Next time I will try the breakfast.

The main and modern elevator was out of order. The old one that is still functional, is quite small and scary at the same time. Also, the beds were not "separated", so I had to separate them myself and I found some trash under it.

This is THE hotel to stay in Liberec; central location, can't be closer to all the attractive spots, basically you stay INSIDE one of them. Hotel has marvellous decor, even if a bit shabby at places it has a lot of unique charm. There's even ancient elevator and it WORKS! Also, breakfast overlooking the central square and magnificent city hall is unforgettable experience. Modern amenities are all fine, including parking and fast wifi. Overall, highly recommended.

I think the decor lacks a bit of finesse; looks like it was renovated by people with not the highest skill. Also, bathroom was clean, but small, cramped and with very cheap equipment. If you look for luxury, that's not it. Also, I was hearing people talking in the room next door, which was annoying, they weren't even particularly loud.

Staff were all friendly and helpful, ensuring that all I wanted/needed was provided. Room was clean and comfortable. I appreciated the safe. Location is excellent The breakfast had a wide range of different foods, well presented and fresh. I love the atmosphere and architecture of the hotel: the Art Deco is fabulous, as is the original (?) lift. The new wing rooms have been tastefully and well designed. (I have stayed in both sections).

These are not complaints but:- If the room's minibar had been full I would probably have used it. The hot breakfast food was a bit limited at the time that I ate, but the staff were eager to help.

Gorgeous hotel located in the absolute centre of Liberec, in an Art Deco masterpiece. Some of the hotel rooms are located in the historic part and feel a bit dated, while others are newly renovated and look great! Very comfy, generous and stylish. Stuff is another level. Welcoming and ready to sort out whatever you need. BTW a charging point for your EV is just around the corner.

Room had beautiful view to Jested mointain. It was quite spacious, with TV and kettle. Location is great as it's next to the main square.

Balcony didn't provide much privacy - actually it was one long balcony for 3 separate rooms. We were unable to enable AC (tried all settings on the pannel but nothing happened) so it was really hot. Shower gel was missing (only shampoo and bar soap provided).
