Location, welcome drink

The room needs some renovation. I would expect it will be in better state in 4* hotel: toilet buttons, scratches on walls, balkon table,... There were not properly cleaned places: Hair on the bed, edges of the flow could be cleaned better, billiard table in the lobby have lot of dust. Personal didn't say us about free parking zone just in front od the Hotel, only about the paid parking (100 or 200 czk per 24 hours next to it).

We took the family room, it was well sized. It has all the facilities one might expect (TV, Safe, Coffee machine, ...) The windows can be opened - which is a big bonus for us (we love fresh air!), just keep in mind that if you stay on the side opposing the street, it can get noisy if you keep windows open (the tram is passing just below your window..). Proximity to the mall, and to IQlanadia was a big bonus. Breakfast was good - the usual selection of eggs, cheese, vegetables, etc.

The air-condition us okay-ish, not sure how it would behave in case of a real hot day. When we were there, the weather was great, we preferred opening the windows to enjoy fresh cold air (and the 5am noise from the street ;)).

A very welcoming, beautifully designed hotel. We received a welcome drink upon arrival. The lobby is designed like a library with desks for comfy work and free wifi. The spacey rooms are very nicely and newly decorated, the glass wall between the bathroom and the main room is hilarious. The large bathtub is a jacuzzi. There is a Nespresso coffee machine in the room, but the capsules cost extra. The breakfast was very good, even more than that: with different yummy spreads in personal glass jars - a great idea!

The free wifi in the room is very weak and unstable and often just disappears. We also ran out of hot water: after soaking in the jacuzzi, I had to shower with absolutely cold water. But the most surprising was to discover there is no room cleaning/tudying every day, but just once in three days. I must say we didn't know this in advance, probably missed it, or maybe it was not mentioned.

Great breakfast and service. Perfect location to the center and for short stay.

Hotel was very popular but it also showed it on the appearance of the hotel, as some furnitures were worn and a bit dusty.

The best part of the hotel is the front desk staff. Adela and Olga were very welcoming, recognized my wife's birthday and upgraded our room to one with a balcony, sent a complimentary bottle of wine and sweets, and were very nice overall. The room was 5th floor, and the hall decor is strange, but the room is spacious. The location of the hotel is very convenient for in/out and for the train station, but not central. The breakfast was ample and good, with nice staff. Parking is easy across form the hotel and pretty cheap at 7 EU per day. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was pretty good too.

It is a great location, right near the city center, and a couple minutes from the local concert hall "Dům Kultury Liberec", so it is the perfect choice if you visit any event at the DK. It takes just around 9 minutes walk from the local Flixbus/Regiojet stop. The staff is nice, the room was very cozy, it's an overall great place to stay.

Not that I didn't like it, but a thing that could be improved a bit is the breakfast area. It's a bit hard to navigate, and find the starting point of the line, especially when there are many people in the room. And it would benefit from adding some trays for the customers. Without trays one currently has to just fit their breakfast into one small plate and dodge people while getting through the crowded room, hoping to not drop the breakfast from the plate.

We traveled as a family and everything was fine including rhd breakfast in my opinion quite rich and with fresh food. We had a disavventure because, probably vandals, removed the plate of our car. We found out in the check out morning and the Manager was extremely kind and helpful offering us free food and drink as we were waiting many hours for the police to come. The Staff also was super kid and helpful during this disavventure. Grwatful for their help and support.

We had a little disavventure with long waiting times during one evening at the restaurant of the hotel (big groups attending the venues), but the rest was fine.

The hotel's design is nicely done; it's clear they wanted to create something that made an impression, and I'd say they succeeded. We got a room upgrade; the room we got was spacious and modern, the beds comfortable, the shower strong and hot, and the balcony was nice for enjoying a bit of the autumn sun. The welcome drink in the bar was a nice touch, and the breakfast had a very good selection, and the quality was good too. Location wise, it's ideal if coming by train; the train station is 5 minutes in one direction, and the heart of the city five minutes in the other direction.

The door could have offered better sound insulation from the corridor; this seems to be a problem in every hotel of the Pytloun chain that I've been in so far. There was a bit of a misunderstanding around breakfast times on our first day; the receptionist said the breakfast on a Saturday was until 11, the key card said the same, but when we arrived at 10:30 we were told it was only until 10:30 that day, but we could quickly take something.

The breakfast was a highlight - delicious and satisfying. The rooms themselves were cozy and impeccably clean. I particularly enjoyed the staircase, adorned with photos chronicling the hotel's history, adding a unique touch. The common area, furnished with comfortable chairs, tables, and a sofa, provided a welcoming space to relax. Overall, the interior design throughout the hotel was truly impressive.

The mattress, unfortunately, was much too firm for my liking, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. As a side sleeper, the hardness resulted in some discomfort in my hips. Back sleepers might find it more suitable. Additionally, the lack of soundproofing in the rooms was an issue. Conversations from the neighboring room were easily audible, and my initial room had a noticeable gap under the door, allowing noise from the hallway to filter in.

Good location. Breakfast. When we arrived in the room, it was broken glass, but the personnel reacted immediately and did their best to change our room even though we were 9 people.

My impression was that the waiter/waitress were not really nice and polite for a family group of people. There was express fot coffee but you had to pay for it as it was a part of mini bar. There were too many lights from the appliances you couldn't turn off during a night.
