The location of Žitkova is wonderful, relaxing magical place. The hotel was nice, clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was very tasty and imaginative, I also tasted some of the local special liquers. I want to give special appreciation to the lady at the reception, who was very helpful, advised me about everything and arranged packaged breakfast for me because I had to leave earlier in the morning, before it was served. The amount of food they packed for me actually sustained me through the whole day of hiking. So thank you!

The wellness facilities could use a bit of an upgrade.

Great location, small unequipped pool, good coffee and tea for breakfast, spacious room, and the cherry on the top for us - football pitch in front of the hotel

No air conditioning, the temperature was much over 30

The breakfast selection was good - especially when we came down to breakfast earlier. Room size was great, the balcony was perfect, the view was beautiful, the cows sound was pleasant :). The room lighting was very good. The mattress was comfortable. Everything was very clean. We got perfect instructions for our late arrival. Receptionist was very helpful as well as the staff, they were nice in every aspect, very supportive. Good parking, just in front of the hotel entrance.

regarding the room: - While I truly appreciated the helpfulness of the hotel staff, who kindly replaced the pillows upon request, I personally found the original pillows to be quite large and unusually thick — a too high and far from being comfortable. The replacement pillows, although a quite lumpy, were slightly better option. It might be worth considering upgrading to higher-quality, standard-sized pillows, similar to those commonly available at stores like IKEA or Jysk. A good pillow really makes a difference for a restful night’s sleep. - The yellow curtains in the room added a nice touch of color, but they didn’t block out the morning light, which made it a bit difficult to sleep in after sunrise. regarding breakfast: Our 2nd morning, we arrived for breakfast after 9 a.m., and it appeared that some of the food items had run out and were not being re-filled.
