Absolutely incredible staff, every time. They go out of their way to arrange special requests, and to help with other arrangements as needed, including transportation. I just can't express how nice it is to stay at Baltaci because of the professional, kind and hard-working staff there. Location is out of the way, but very quiet. Wonderful for a good night's sleep, or getting work done. Rooms are very tastefully furnished, with pleasant and relaxing colors. Beds are super comfortable with high quality mattresses and blankets/pillows. Everything is immaculately cleaning and in perfect working order. Bathrooms modern and clean. Rooms have pretty decent sound-proofing, for a hotel anyway. Cleaning staff is polite and quiet in the mornings, great for sleeping in. Rooms and bathrooms at Baltaci are much larger than average, which gives a very comfortable "just like home" feeling. I absolutely love staying there, because it's as if I brought my home with me on the journey. Location perfectly served by local taxi service. Never waited more than 10 minutes, and price all around town was great. Breakfast excellent, with large variety of quality food. Breakfast area clean and cozy, and usually very quiet.

Zlin is an out of the way location and a sleepy, conservative town. After hours (early after hours!) there is basically nothing to eat, and nothing to do. The few places that serve at all, are quite often taken over by private parties and not available for regular customers. This has happened to me on multiple visits and at multiple locations, including the hotel itself. Of course this has really nothing to do with the hotel, but my suggestion is, bring evening snacks and a book! :/

One of my favorite places to stay in all the country. Friendly, professional staff. Always happy to meet special requests like late stay, and quiet rooms, and smaller key sets. Really makes the trip more comfortable and luxurious. Fabulous breakfast. Huge selection of quality food. Quiet environment. Rooms are the largest of nearly any other place I stay. Truly feels like being at home. Quality furniture, tasteful decoration, everything is absolutely sparkling clean (even the carpets) and in perfect working order. Very comfortable, firm but comfy beds and high quality blankets and pillows. Location is very quiet and pretty, and just a short 10-minute walk to the center, or 30-minute walk to the local concert venues and train/bus stations. Taxi service always readily available as well. Price is a great value these days as well, which is very nice.

Option for an Air Conditioner (or just a large fan) would be nice. It's usually not needed in this location in the foothills, but there are days it would be very helpful and make the stay a 10+.

The location was good, the property was not too big so not overcrowded. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was very central to other family and friends that were staying in the town for a wedding.

The wheelchair accessible bathroom was not really accessible as door too narrow for wheelchair. I was lucky I could walk a few steps on crutches.

The hotel is in a quiet area, and both the room and bathroom are spacious and comfortable.

The style is a bit old-fashioned and nothing fancy. While our stay was pleasant overall, there could definitely be more options for guests with dietary needs, whether lactose-free or vegan. Having suitable choices for everyone should be standard nowadays, so this was a letdown.

This is my goto place when I stay in Zlin. Always great service. Rooms are large and well equipped, always clean and comfy and quiet. Breakfast is really great here as well. Easy walk or taxi ride to everywhere I need to be including concert halls and main station. Also very accomodating and fair about late check-outs or additional last minute guests.

Breakfast was tasty, I enjoy it everytime. There was a great selection. The staff was helpful and nice as always. The room was cozy though the furnitare is a bit older. The location is very convenient.

The toilet kept making noises, there was water flowing long after flushing. It was during the night so I didn't want to bother anyone, because I'm sure they would have helped me!

The staff is very friendly. Rooms are spacious (I could even park the stroller in the bathroom!) and beds are large. Carpets in the rooms and curtains in windows (the hotel is next to the block of flats). Checkin and checkout went smooth. Breakfast was ok (150 CZK/person), I liked the cakes. The parking lot is in front of the hotel. Bata's houses and the bike path (7,5km to ZOO) very close to the hotel is a nice bonus.

The hotel interior deserves a renewal, but furniture is still functioning. If you are not used to noise from trains, the rail nearby can disturb you. I was disappointed, that the baby chair in the canteen was full of crumbles, apparently not cleaned for some time.

The staff were very helpful. Breakfast had a nice selection and was well presented 5 minutes from train,. 20 minute walk from centre.

There wasn't a kettle in the room. On the other hand, the receptionist delivered one when we requested it. She was very helpful and pleasant.

Superb hotel in a quiet location, with large rooms, quality breakfast, and spectacular low-key but professional service. A very big part of the reason that I look forward to attending concert events in Zlin, a real holiday for me as they have the best concert venue in the country, is that I know that I am going to have a very relaxing, friendly, and positive experience at this hotel. I really appreciate this. Denisa at the front desk especially, is extremely professional both in person and on the phone. I feel that whatever I need, she will be able to handle it. From special check-in or check-out times, travel information, or meetings I have around town, Denisa will get it done for me in a helpful, friendly and professional manner. I wish all hotel staff around CZ were as efficient and capable as she is, and as pleasant. In addition, Baltaci U Nahonu has the largest rooms of any hotel I typically stay in. Even their standard single room is a decent size, which makes for a very comfortable stay. Housekeeping is also very quiet and respectful. I know that it's one of the hardest jobs around, and chatting is a way to blow off steam during this hard work. Yet they are respectful of me every time I stay, knowing that I'm coming from a late show and really appreciate the chance to sleep in. Really awesome. Rooms are super clean and a bit older in a positive way, with heavy furnishings and quality decor. Large windows with a decent view, on the hill side of the building. Clean, modern bathrooms with great soap. Awesome quality breakfast, available until a decent hour for late risers. Tap beer too, which always comes in handy. All this for a price that's very fair, as Zlin is extremely overpriced as a region for the most part. And walking distance from the main train and bus stations, and close to local public transport. What else can I say? Best of the best in the region.

Everything is functional and well thought out. The value is exceptional. Even though it is not in the centre, it is very close to a bus stop and a station. The personnel is efficient and friendly.

The front porch could be improved to be a more pleasant place to enjoy the outdoors.
