super comfortable bed and pillows very spacious room with balcony (Selig King) dog friendly (there was a bed and 2 bowls waiting for us in the room) the hotel looks very well maintained beautiful bar with rooftop terrace check out at 12:00

the room temperature (it was pretty cold in the room 20,5 degrees on the first night but then after a day of nonstop heating the temperature rose to comfortable 22 degrees) 50 eur per night pre authorisation - this is very old school and I haven't come across this for a long time the breakfast price seems a little excessive one day spa was overcrowded and we even had no place to get inside

The hotel was beautiful and, for us, in a perfect location close to town (albeit up a reasonably steep hill). The roof top bar overlooking the lake was stunning. Breakfast selection was fabulous and the 2 staff members on duty were kind and helpful albeit the breakfast service in general seemed under-staffed. Having a 12:00 check out on Saturdays was amazing! We stayed for my son's birthday and the hotel had left balloons and a cake in his room for our arrival - very much appreciated.

The supplement for a lake view room is very high. Some of these rooms have a fabulous lake view so that is worth the extra. However, many of the other rooms classed as lake view, have restricted or partial lake views but the supplement is still the same. We had 3 lake view rooms all with varying degrees of lake views.

Beautifully designed hotel in the middle of Tegernsee. It is a little up the hill, rather than directly by the lake. We were also very grateful for the ample underground parking available as we arrived on a sunny Sunday and Tegernsee was overflowing with daytrippers and tourists. Our room was spacious and gorgeous with a lovely view from the private balcony. The roof terrace bar is particularly stunning during the day as well as evening. We did not get to use the pool and Spa but it looked wonderful. Breakfast was also super good. The staff was exceptionally friendly and professional. We will definitely be back!

Very clean, modern and cozy Hotel. Nice Sauna for relaxation. The rooftop terrace is definitely the highlight. The Breakfast buffet was very well selected and had everything which was needed. Furthermore, the Staff was very welcoming and friendly.

The Airconditioning in the public spaces such as bar and breakfast room was too cold. The Spa could use a little more love to detail such as different decoration, warmer light - felt a little stiff.

We had only one night at Caro & Selig, but it was super enjoyable! We arrived at late night hour and the staff was super nice and attentive. The room was spacious, everything looked new and clean. Bed was super comfortable (both for us and our toddler who had a nice crib) There is air conditioner in the hotel and the rooms (super important on hot days!) Breakfast was rich, including variety of specialty of the region. The hotel has a parking attached (fee). The hotel located in middle of Tegernsee, short walk to lake promenade.

Great location within walking distance of the town centre. Very courteous staff, & the hotel was always clean & felt very safe. Good, secure car park.

The lifts were often slow to arrive, & inconsistent in direction.

I hesitated to book this hotel as this area as plenty of accommodation in typical Bavarian style. But I don’t regret my choice as the rooms have a very high quality standard and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast until 11:00 AM and even 12:00 on weekends is really nice for lazy bones.

I came by car and decided to not use the hotel car park at 24€. It was not difficult to find place on the streets nearby the hotel but can only book for 2 hours. One day I couldn’t make it and got a 20€ fine (which is still cheaper than the hotel car park).

I like everything at this hotel. It’s my second stay in Caro & Selig Waiters at the restaurant are very friendly and accommodating, always ready to help. Excellent breakfast. Thank you for taking care of us.

I did request a bath tub with booking, but when I’ve asked at the check in they said no bath tub at rooms. But it was mentioned online. Staff at the reception very slow, we waited for 3 hour to check in, only one room was ready. No Porter available at the hotel.

The rooms were very modern and stylish. The views from the balcony and roof top bar are amazing, especially those overlooking the lake and mountains. It is a very smart hotel which is close to the centre of town and easy to get around.

€19 per night for the car park is quite expensive in my opinion.

Beautiful hotel!! I would definitely recommend. Just very crowded in high seasons. Breakfast for 35€ per person it is not reasonable! If you walk a few minutes from hotel to the next breakfast restaurant you will fine a beautiful place in front of the see for a lower price.

To pay extra 50€ just for parking it is unreasonable!
