Took the U6 straight from the airport, great location

We recently stayed at this hotel and was impressed by its perfect location—the train station is literally right in front of the hotel door, making it incredibly easy to get around. The mini market at the reception, is super convenient. The pizza offered there is a great touch, especially since you can cook it on-site at a very reasonable price—perfect for nights when you just want to relax in your room. The breakfast is quite good, with a nice selection of options to start your day. The breakfast area and reception are modern and welcoming, creating a great first impression. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which added to the overall experience.

The rooms are a bit outdated and could benefit from refurbishment. The pillows, in particular, are not very comfortable and could use an upgrade to improve the overall stay. Another downside is the single lift, which often results in long waiting times, especially during busy periods.

A real minor triumph this set-up. Easy to get to, and super helpful staff. The room is bijou, but super comfy. The underground parking was a real plus ( i had a lot of gear in my vehicle) , especially since you get a free parking ticket. I didn't get the chance to go into the city, but the Hochpark next door, is a delight.

The only gripes were the heating was way to warm and slow to adjust ( i slept with the window open), and for some reason they crammed most of the guests into the same section on the 7th floor. The resulting door slamming was disturbing. One other point is that the underground garage is a very tight fit for a campervan!

I had the pleasure of staying at that wonderful hotel iBis and I couldn't be more impressed with the experience. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. (( Kevin )), who works at the front desk, truly made my stay unforgettable. His warm and welcoming nature made me feel right at home. Kevin went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable, always eager to assist with any request or concern, no matter how small. It was clear that when it comes to guest satisfaction, the hotel and its staff, especially Kevin, are willing to do whatever it takes to ensure a memorable stay. His dedication and attention to detail made all the difference. I am incredibly grateful for the kindness and support I received during my visit. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for top-notch service and a truly enjoyable experience!

Room was very clean and comfortable. The pillow was firm. Hotel loaned me an electric kettle upon request. The location could not have been better. Situated at MaybachStrasse metro station on the U6 line, the hotel is just a 2-min walk away.

The breakfast was limited in choices. There were no hot cooked food eg omelette, scrambled eggs, hot sausages, cooked bacon etc. Not many amenities nearby within walking distance. Only a Tegut supermarket, a convenience store co-located with a petrol station, and a restaurant.

Big thanks to the hotel staff Karla in the reception. I was notified that there is no early check-in possible but I arrived part 12 pm and Karla gave me an early check-in for free. What a great deal since the weather was so hot and I was travelling for hours via train. She speaks English well and was so pleasant to deal with. Location of hotel is just right on the exit of the underground metro station.

I just didnt like the buffet breakfast as it didnt have much food to offer but it did the job quite ok.

The hotel is located just outside the U-Bahn station of Maybachstraße which is perfect for visiting the city centre. The hotel has a private underground car park which costs €10 a day. Accessible elevator from the car park straight to the hotel reception and rooms. The hotel room is basic but clean and sufficient for a few nights. Beds are comfortable. Shower is separate from the toilet and the sink is situated in the room itself. The reception area has a coffee machine and snacks available for sale. We enjoyed our stay. We would recommend it.

It would have been nice to have a choice of soft and firm pillows (only soft ones were available). There isn't much to do in the vicinity in the evenings.

Perfect hotel for a quick solo trip. The room is sparsely furnished, but I was aiming for value over luxury so that's exactly what I wanted. Check in / check out process was easy and the staff I spoke to spoke English as well which was a big plus. The location was not in the centre, but still good as there was an underground station located directly outside the hotel.

Single blankets for a double bed. Also a staff member queried something with me at around half past 10 which was a little bit late for me.

The check in went very fast and good. I also could add a parking space in the garage so that was also handled very fast. Then the room was what I expected. Clean, simple, the bed was good for me. It was what I expected for 78 EURO a night. The location is also good if one has a car that I had. Not sure with transport else.

Overall was all good. One point is it was a bit fresh in the room, not expected as is June but outside was not warm either. I tried to put on the heater but did not manage. I could also have asked I am sure but for 1 night I did not want to go into. So that was even more on my side as I did not ask but wanted to go to bed. I had enough bed sheets so I had warm enough to sleep. So that is basically also fine.

The location of the hotel was excellent, right next to the SSB U-bahn Maybachstraße tram station with fast links all over Stuttgart and the U6 line direct to the airport. There's not much in the way of amenities in the vicinity of the hotel but everything you could want is only a few minutes away by tram.

No fridge or kettle in the rooms, understandable as the Ibis is a budget hotel.
