The location was perfect for somebody arriving by train. You just need to go up a staircase inside the train station (direction buses) to get almost directly to the hotel. The room was nice and clean, in a good state. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom nice. There was a safe in the room, a free bottle of water, a water boiler and some coffee and tee bags were also provided. From the hotel it is a short walk to the main shopping streets, the von der Heydt museum and other sights. The schwebebahn station is also close, and from there you can reach the rest of the city.

Check-in was done with an automat. Staff was around in case you needed help, but it felt unpersonal. Otherwise a very nice hotel.

Room has a lot of place for free movement. It has additional a fridge, TV, bathroom and a document safe. Therefore it has everything that you could possibly use on a vacation. Also it has two little saunas in the basement of the hotel as well as a small gym that has some equipments for people to workout.

The keycards of the rooms sometimes worked and sometimes just decided not to work. Therefore you needed up to several tries to get access to your own room. Also in my room the bathroom couldn't close properly without a bit violence.

Location and rooms are great. It is nice that hotel offers lockers from fair price which is very convenient due to the location. They offer a card for free public transport during the time spent there which is great if you plan to use it.

There is serious problem with the system. In person check in desk software did not work so we had to do it manually after several unsuccessful attempts. Additionally, during the night (4.00 in the morning) I was deducted additional money from the credit card which was returned only 10 days after the stay. It is not clear why they reserved money at first at all (no warning about deposit or anything since everything was paid through booking). Place is great but I found this very unpleasant since amount was significant. I wrote to them and I did not receive even an apologize.

Superb location, room had a view of the suspension railway. Room was nice and clean and the staff was really helpful. The free public transport ticket is valid in a huge area, from Wuppertal and Düsseldorf and even on some bus and train lines across the Dutch border. On request you can receive the ticket before your stay so you can use it to travel to the hotel! The mattress was comfortable.

The pillows were very thin and not very comfortable. If you arrive by public transport, the entrance is via the Wuppertal Hbf busstation or a walk across a wide busy road, which was not very clear.

location was perfect for us as it very close to the train station (and even closer to the bus station). The breakfast was very good with an extensive selection of options catering for all dietary regimes. One particular attraction of this hotel was the inclusion of a day pass for Wuppertal public transport in the cost of the accommodation - very useful for riding the Schwebebahn!

Breakfast was excellent. A good reason to book this hotel. Overall, it was a good stay.

Nothing. Generally everything was good. Only the check-in didn't work at the 1st time, the staff was not able to find our booking. They were saying that they were not able to do check-in because there was no booking application available. At the end, another employee come with a list in a paper, and the problem was solved.

The hotel is conveniently located next to the central station and is modern and comfortable. There is self check-in but is supported by staff. The rooms are small but modern. The included City Ticket is really nice.

Designers of hotel rooms should also stay there for a night. Then they would see the curtains don't fit at all so don't blind out the lights from outside. Also the room is quite warm and airconditioning didn't seem to change that. Breakfast was really expensive so picked a local coffee house for breakfast.

We have been staying here before, each year , sometimes in september and for 7 years in december for Silvesterabend when there is a tangofestival in the Historische Stadthalle. It's close and convenient , especially because there is a parkinggarage. The rooms are nice and clean.

The breakfast on New Years Day has been dissapointing. f. i. There was no good bread, ( I had the last piece of nice brown bread and asked for another, but there wasn't ; it was 10 o'clock and the breakfast was until 13.00 hrs) the buns were burned; the jams were almost finished; we had the last croissants, the chocolate marmor cake was very dry, not fresh, there was a little bit of biricher muesli left......I was glad we could have Filter Kaffee but there was no hot milk.

The Hotel is superb, the location amazing near the city centre, in walkable time almost everything, The breakfast was superb. We stayed in a room with 2 kids. They were sleeping on a sofa-bed that was opened on the floor, which was very convenient for us as our children are small and we were afraid about the height of the bed. The room was quite big for a family of 4.

Because it is located on a big crossroad some times there is noise from the streets. But we went in Winter so we didn't have to open the windows. So nothing was annoying.

Stayed here for a week. Convenient location with close proximity to bus and train stations. Self check in was quick and easy. Room was good size, comfortable and spotless clean with enough space to unpack. Rooms were cleaned every alternate day and that didn't really matter to us. Wi-Fi worked well. The breakfast was excellent with enough choice. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Ms. Sweta. Varies food options at a short walking distance. Highly recommended hotel in Wuppertal.
