The location is fine and right near the old market. Even though there is a train station nearby, we almost didn't hear the sounds of the trains.

Despite the good outer isolation, the sound isolation within the hotel is bad: in the room we could hear virtually everything that happened outside the room. For those who travel with dogs that can be a problem, if the dog is scared of noise. Also there is no regular cleaning, but you can ask for it on reception. Breakfasts are so-so.

Good central Enschede location close to station. Great view from large window. Room was large, clean and comfortable, with useful storage space. Staff were courteous and helpful.

Bed/mattress was OK but not the most comfortable. I would have liked more than one "English Breakfast" tea bag, and a milk serving instead of coffee creamer. As there's a fridge in the room, maybe a fresh milk option could be offered with a reusable glass container? The towels were a bit thin. Noisy neighbours returning to their room at 5am.

This hotel is located very conveniently next to the city's main railway station. It has decent, though somewhat small, bedrooms. The mattress was much more comfortable than during my previous stay here, when it was a bit too hard. The breakfast is of good quality with a good range of choices.

It would have been good to erect a sign at the bottom of the grand stairway to point out there is also a lift going towards the entrance, and where that lift is. Some guests may carry their luggage all the way up without realizing the lift is there; it is quite inconspicuous.

I was travelling by train from Germany to Schiphol airport. The hotel is 2 minutes walk from Enschede station, on the edge of a "has it all city", which was my convenient stop over. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean. Soundproofing was excellent for a light sleeper. All in all, top value.

What I don't like is that question! You don't need to encourage petty negativity. If people have GENUINE problems, they will tell you.

The room, bed and win dow.

A very strange entrance from the street side. Numerous stairs and almost hidden small lift//The guests coming by car should know that PARALLELWEG leads to the underground garage //Lack of signing for the emergency route in the lowest part of it. Suddenly, on the level where stairs get narrower , there is NO further sign and the 2 doors you see are locked. Your key-card doesnt work. In the case of panic and fire ... ( easy to imagine ) . It concerns the staircase at the western side, the side of the railway tracks. // No clear information that only the left lift goes to the underground garage. (The tiny silver button isnt enough). // The room door ,floor 4, requires force which kids or elderly people havent.

It was our 2nd time staying at this hotel, but the first with my children, and 1st time with breakfast. I couldn't book the same room for myself and for my 2 boys(5&6) I phoned the hotel, they said just book it with 1 child, and they will add an extra bed to my booking. The problem was solved. I also paid for the breakfast for 2 of us, but no one was saying anything when we were there and 3of us having breakfast

Large business room on the 7th floor, spacious with a nice view on the town centre. The location was perfect, very close to the railway and bus stations. Breakfast was splendid. The staff was wonderful, very patient and helpful, happy to deal with all my requests.

The stairs outside the hotel were occupied by drunk people at night, leaving all kind of mess by the morning that one had to navigate to not step into.

Property is in Central which makes it accessible to good food & Beers. Very nice connectivity through elevators directly to central.

Room was only cleaned when asked, we were out for the whole day and came back to our dirty room with no house keeping available around 4 pm it was a bit challenging Hence please ensure to mention to clean the room before you leave for the day !

The location was great, not far to walk to the centre or St Pauli. Beautiful building with original features from the original business. The staff always greeted us with a smile. On entering the suite we noticed a gift on a ‘doggy pillow’ for Alfie, lovely touch. The room was really comfortable and we found that we wanted to spend more time in it, relaxing.

My only niggle is that I found it very difficult as someone not familiar to Enschede nor driving in Europe to locate exactly where the car park was. Better signage co-designed by a tourist and better guidance on the website would make this easier. Google maps was not actually that helpful but the staff were very accommodating and made up for my deficiencies.
