Lovely hotel, fantastic location above one of the most beautiful beaches in the area. We loved the pools, though it would have been nice if they stayed open a bit later (they close at 18:00 even at end May when it is still hot and nice to swim till at least 19:30) and the staff was very friendly. The room (sea view suite) was very spacious for a family of 4, the decor was modern and it was clean.

We tried the 3 restaurants that seemed to cater best to kids (french called Brasserie, italian called Trattoria and the beach club), as well as a cafe that was operated by the hotel but was on the beach. The food was well below average, bordering on bad, despite the fact these were not cheap restaurants. There is also a japanese and a michelin star one, but we did not think the menu would be ok for our kids so we did not try those. This was a (unpleasant) surprise to us as we loved the hotel in every other aspect. We had dinner outside the hotel the rest of the time at the restaurants that are walking distance around the beach, and even though touristic, the food was much better.

All is great in general. amazing facility, great locations, warm hospitality. interesting shows at night.

But maybe it is due to the weather and climate, many warm dishes are served cold during breakfast (such as fried bacon) which is a bit pity and something that i am not used to. Unfortunately sometimes the weather is not warm enough for us to get into a not warmed pool, so this is something i would bear in mind if i search for hotel with pools next time, i would want that there is a warmed pool. but this could be my personnal preference only.

Not clear what was mini bar and what is complementary in the room. Need everytime to check the bills, I found a couple misteskes. And almost no noise canceletion in the room, we waked up at 8am because they started cleaning next room.

Location with access to the sea was special. You would not need to leave the property as you had all you needed there. The spa treatments were excellent and Thalassotherapy zone very good

On arrival late at night I was asked to pay upfront. I asked to see the room and found that despite requesting a room with balcony and sea view I was offered a room with a window view of the sea and our balcony faced an overgrown tree which blocked the light. We were then offered a perfect room in the same class beside all the pools and restaurants with a terrace from where you could not only see the sea but hear the waves also. Once settled in there we were able to enjoy all this great resort had to offer

Location and service quality

Starting to look a little tired and the plumbing and associated drains showing their age. Most restaurants did not justify a return visit and all were poor value for money. Our fourth visit over many years but we will be looking for a new venue if we visit Tenerife again.

From the second we arrived staff were superb - always a friendly greeting, calm, accommodating! Breakfast was spectacular; astonishing choice in a beautiful room or outdoor terrace with views. Hotel itself was gorgeous, full of secluded areas so even though it was at capacity when we stayed it never seemed crowded. Range of pools, with warm or cold, salt or freshwater. It's also right on the beach (though you wouldn't know, it's so private) and just 10 mins walk from several restaurants in Costa Adeje if you fancy a change.

Restaurants on site were a little pricy but had an excellent meal at the Italian and the Beach Club despite that.

Second time at the hotel first time some 9 years ago, not much has changed from the moment we arrived I enjoyed the whole experience and would recommend if you want to experience a quality luxury hotel in Tenerife. The hotel, pools and gardens are well maintained and clean and there is lots of space to relax around the pools. The beach is 10 meters from the garden gate and its one of the best on the island. Breakfast was outstanding with a very large choice for all tastes, The staff throughout the resort were excellent and very friendly. I will be retuning in the future as its one of the best located and run hotels on the island..

The only negative – the bedroom pillows not very comfortable,

We mainly chose this hotel to access the beach easily, and during our stay we could enjoy the beautiful public beach in front of the hotel very conveniently. Another reason to choose this hotel during booking was the fact that its architecture seemed nicer than a big standard 5 star hotel. During our stay, we loved the design and architecture of the hotel. It gave us an impression that we were in a big cosy summer residence of someone with a great taste. Each corner had a charming decoration. The nature is preserved in the design. We could climb up stairs in open air by looking at different elements of the hotel without getting bored. The staff were experienced and friendly.

Overall, we had a truly wonderful experience. The hotel is amazing and incredibly spacious and it feels like a small town of its own. Our rooms were well-equipped with everything we needed, and the entire property is simply fabulous. Even though the hotel was almost fully booked, we never felt any crowds. The concept of pre-booking restaurants might initially seem a bit strict, but in practice it works perfectly. Booking all restaurants for our entire stay took no more than 5 minutes at the dedicated office near reception. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

The hotel complex itself and location is superb on the beach (public). There are lots of nooks and crannies on outdoor terraces. Hotel is set on many different levels so lots of steps and adventures trying to find where you’re going. Plenty of recliners close and not close to pools. The Aqua fitness was excellent. Lifeguard called Santiago went above and beyond his duties in treating a cut on my foot. He was extremely kind and professional. The majority of staff were friendly and helpful but particularly Santiago and also Nicklaus in the top bar (5th floor). They were just excellent; extremely friendly and helpful.

Disappointed with our deluxe sea view double room because it wasn’t really deluxe. States in literature on hotel and Booking.com website that there is a balcony or terrace and outdoor furniture. We did not have this. Also stated room contained single and large double beds. It didn’t. Room and furniture in our room was quite outdated. It did have a magnificent view. But overall comment on room is disappointing.
