The property was in a great location in the older area of calpe. There is a bit of a hill to get up to the old town but it’s definitely worth the walk. Plenty of cafes to stop for a rest and drink on the way. The hotel was very clean, big bedrooms with comfortable beds. We had a room with a sea view which was great. We loved watching the tractor clean up the beach every day. Breakfast was very varied with something for every taste. Lots of hot selection, continental, great bread choices, fresh fruit, yogurts even a glass of bubbly if wanted. The towels were changed every 3 days and the bedding was changed after a week. The pool areas were lovely and clean but the water was freezing.

Checking in was a bit of a nightmare. We knew we were early with a two hour wait but it seemed very strange that some people just walked in and got booked in immediately. Breakfast was very chaotic but it is a large hotel you just have to navigate your way through the crowd and get what you want to eat. A big disappointment was the coffee stations. They were constantly not working, we were so fed up we went to the local supermarket and bought some instant coffee sachets and just used the hot water and milk. We were also very disappointed that the flamenco evening was cancelled and changed to a children’s disco. We had purposely eaten early to watch the show. The pool on floor 8 really could do with some shade, either umbrellas or sails.

location is super. I asked for a quiet room and was very pleased with room 333. I was too late to get a sea view but my room still had a little sea view. The room was spotless every day. The air conditioning was quiet and worked perfectly. The beds were very comfortable. It was also nice to have the fridge.

The staff in the restaurant were lovely but it gets soo noisey at breakfast. There is the usual lines with the coffee machine and some not working. I would love a nice meusli at breakfast. I asked the chef for 2 hard fried eggs on 2 occasions ..went away and came back to her but still didnt get it right.Maybe I shuld have tried harder. The bread is lovely and there is a good selection otherwise. We would love to find info in rception about boat rides and cycling and a map of Calpe area would be helpful. What happened to the rental of chairs and umbrellas on the beach?? We asked at reception but noone seemed to know. Everyone buying seats and umbrellas. I left my umbrella in the room and hoping that ye may set something up for visitors to use free of charge when they arrive.

I really loved the location on the beach. Sea view from our balcony was stunning, and the balconys size perfect for 4. Everything is near and there is a great parking place under the hotel. The stuff was friendly and helped us with every problem as well as they could. Roof top bar was lovely, we had some good drinks there.

The bed was too hard and it wasn't possible to change the bed/bedding. I couldn't sleep well and my backache got worse. There could be some showers in front of the hotel for the customers to wash the beach sand off. I didn't like the fact that there was sand everywhere in our room (bed, floor) always when we came in. The hotel pool was pretty disgusting - people really don't take a shower before popping in.

Excellent hotel. I was reading comments where people like and dislike the hotel. Based on what we saw - everything was fantastic! The choice of food on breakfast is unbelievably big. There were long displays for all type of foods: marmalade section, sauces table, salad section, hot food section, cold plates, sweet pastries, cereals and even free cava. Some items were different on every morning giving you chance to taste different foods. The rooftop bar and pool - magnificent view! Had second pool in courtyard where you can enjoy evening sun. Hotel location - right on beach, in the middle of great long Calp beach. Old town was ca 10 minutes away. Top rate hotel!!

The view was second to none being on the frontline and overlooking the beach and Calpe rock.

The room was basic and a bit tired. We wanted a double bed with a sea view but had to settle for a 3 single bed room despite being only 2 of us. Had they taken away the 3rd unnecessary bed we could have had somewhere to sit with perhaps a coffee table. Tea and coffee making facilities would have been good rather than a 20 euro charge for a kettle and a coffee machine which didn't work.

Good location for Arenal beach area and bars, restaurants etc. Nice room, air con worked well, good bathroom and shower. Room noisy overlooking the road (even though I asked for a quiet room).

Not enough lifts for a full busy hotel. Breakfast very busy but good selection. Very noisy housekeeping staff in the room next door, woke us up at 8am scraping and banging furniture around - should be more considerate when the sleeping sign in on the room next door. Asked for a quiet roombut the noise from the road was considerable, I'm sure there were quieter rooms than that.

Our room on the 4th floor had a sea view which was lovely to wake up to. The lady on reception was very friendly and check-in was smooth and fast. Breakfast was amazing - so much choice and well stocked even though it was a busy dining room. Items were replenished immediately when requested. We were able to park in the street directly outside so we saved on parking fees. Great location for the beach, shops, restaurants etc.

Whilst we got the sea view balcony room requested, we noticed most balconies were nicer than ours which was a bit boxed in. The view was still amazing though. It would've been nice to have used the pools but, as they aren't heated, we couldn't really expect to do so in April. Our room was a bit dark and dated. With an upgrade to room décor, this would be a fabulous hotel. Watch out when using a sat nav for guidance, ours took us out of Calpe into a suburban/rural back street which was a 10 minute drive in the opposite direction from the hotel.

Great hotel for short stay, rooftop terrace with wonderful views and pool it's The Best! Have 2 pools + one small for kids. Quite comfortable bed and nice sun proof curtains:)

So noisy cleaning ladies, always loud speaking and noks in your door early in the morning if you forgot to put outside "Do not disturb". We like this hotel, but this problem with cleaning staff is always the same, please change it for keep your customers happy ... Gym room is old, not so clean and need a refreshing Breakfast till 10AM , if you arrived at 9h30 there's not big choice and nobody will cook you omelet or coffee machine is not working. When you on holidays you would like to sleep longer and not be awake with cleaning ladies and hurry up for breakfast. On the Rooftop we was refused to order the drinks at 17h30, but it's open in winter normally till 18h00. But the receptionists was so good, helpful and smiling, thank you so much!

Great location and facilities, we were only there for 2 nights. The breakfast is like a bun fight, and not great quality. the staff in there were very unhelpful.the parking charges which is very common in Calpe I think 30 euros for 2 days ? Ouch
