Absolutely beautiful and well located. It’s already a little bit old but still very comfortable. Breakfast are ok. Localization is super - lots of shops, restaurants and cafes just “behind the door” :) from one hand it’s quiet and cosy, but located in the heart of “town”. Hotel Restaurant is a bit expensive, especially in comparison with many other places around the hotel. Hotel staff cleans room and change towels every day. If someone count on luxury resort it is not. But very comfortable and nice. I really love it.

Banpu Koh Chang Resort may appear to be a little tired in some areas, but make no mistake how amazing this property actually is. If you want 5star new resort, maybe go elsewhere - but if you want an experience, can ignore a few minor things, you will LOVE Banpu. First impressions - what an entrance into the most beautiful, open air reception and lounge area, onto dining and open dining overlooking the beach. The vibe is natural, warm and comfortable, perfect for all people, solo, couples, families. The bamboo feature is stunning surrounded by well manicured gardens and areas. It really is a vibe here. Pool looks lovely and towels, Sun lounges and umbrellas are generously provided. We have stayed at Banpu several times, amounting to approx 5months in total. We have stayed in the beachfront rooms (#510 ❤️ #512, #513 and #514 ❤️❤️) All rooms were comfortable and clean. Beds are comfortable, clean and standard for price. Bathroom clean and in working order. Wardrobe, bench and drawer space is ample. Fridge, kettle, air con and tv in good working order. And then theres the balcony overlooking the beach ❤️ spacious with table chairs and an unmatched view anywhere. The beach literally begins 2mts from your balcony!! If you love nature, the beach, chilling outside - these are your rooms! Swimming at this beach is perfect - white sand, clear warm water - it’s my favourite in all of Koh Chang. I could bang on about how fabulous Banpu is but you should really come see for yourself. It’s also located within minutes of some great eateries, juice shop, pharmacy, macro and 7-11. We also love Banpu staff. They are all truly beautiful people, so kind and helpful. Smile at the staff often and you will find some of the best people you’ll meet in Thailand. View from our Seaview room was amazing. Location was good walking to restaurants and supermarkets.

We paid extra to include breakfast in our stay, the food was average. They let people hog the chairs around the pool, people would leave towels on the chairs for hours and not use them. The staff should be removing the towels after 30 min and letting other guest use the chairs.

A great value hotel with a private beach and a good quality restaurant on the same beach. A good quality and variety breakfast.

During our stay the hotel was repainted with oil based paint without advanced warning or discount. The restaurant prices are a bit on the high side.

Good Location Right on the top end of White Sands Beach Plenty of shops ,restaurants,money exchange right outside the Resort Plenty of Baht Buses around if you do not have transport to go to other areas I have a car which is pretty easy . Just be careful and slow on the roads on the Island . Pretty narrow and numerous places hilly with sharp curves Find most of the time you will be driving at 20 to 45 kilometres per hour But that is fine . Nice and safe. Staff were all pleasant and helpful Parking is very tight and limited . But every time I came in or out a staff member would come straight out and help guide in or out . Sometimes they would move some motorbikes to create a car park space Tried 10 different restaurants all over the island . Each one was great ( so is the Ban Phu Hotel very good breakfast each day and had 1 lunch and 1 dinner there ) Beach eating Cliff top view eating ..brilliant The best restaurant was Le JaoJom Between White sands beach and Lonely Beach It is sensational fine dining . More expensive than other restaurants ,but well worth it Ban Phu pool is very good ,Definitely worth staying here , especially if its your first time on the Island because of location and right on a great beach

Same old story from a certain nationality of putting bag and towel on Sun bed lounges at 7.00am and then disappearing for 5 to 7 hours . Need to adopt rule that many places do in Thailand now , No one on the bed for 2 hours ,staff pack up and store at reception The rooms are starting to get a bit tired . Still very nice but think in the next couple of years some refurbishments will be need A small fan on the balcony would be excellent addition

We loved our time at Banpu Koh Chang so much, we extended our stay by 2 weeks. Our beach front room was clean and spacious, AC worked well, bed was clean & comfortable, linen good quality. Bathroom was in good working order, very clean and tidy. Power points generously distributed around room. Lighting versatile for personal preference. Mini fridge, drying rack, safe, umbrellas, kettle and seating generously provided. Beach towels available from reception. Stunning beach views from private balcony. The open air dining and reception areas are welcoming, always clean and well cared for. The restaurant provides a great selection of meals, both local and western at affordable prices. There are also some great local eateries along the Main Street. Scooter rental, laundry services, tours and more offered at great prices out front.

Banpu Koh Chang has a wonderful natural vibe. While it’s not the newest or flashiest resort, it does have a massive heart. We stayed in a beachfront room and it was AMAZING! The room is clean and spacious, as advertised, beds are comfortable, pillows, linen, towels all in good shape. The bathroom is clean, everything works well. Mini fridge, safe, storage and seating provided. Air con works well. The real win is the private balcony, looking out onto white sand beach - you are literally steps away from the sand. The staff are wonderful, warm, friendly and helpful. The dining and reception area are welcoming and a good place to enjoy a meal or just hang out. If you’re looking for a relaxing place to stay, in a great location, I recommend Banpu.

We liked Banpu so much, we extended our original 14 night stay by another 14 nights, then another 24nights. After almost 2mths at Banpu, we loved it as much as the day we arrived. This beautiful beachfront property situated on White Sand Beach has a breezy, relaxed vibe. Our room had AMAZING views, if we werent on the beach, we were outside under the ocovered verandah overlooking the beach. *get the beachfront rooms!! The room itself was sizable, clean and tastefully decorated, very comfortable for the price. Air-conditioning worked well. The bathroom was clean and well maintained with good shower pressure. The property is a little dated but it's well cared for, so if you want casual, somewhere to hang out on the beach, Banpu is the place.

We were upgraded to a beach front room which was only a couple of meters from the sea at high tide which was AMAZING. Liked our room. Good air con, reading lights, fridge, safe, kettle and always lots of coffee restocked every day. Comfortable bed. Nice covered terrace with deckchairs. Breakfast included. Good location on one of the nicest beaches for swimming.

Nothing major but improvements could make it even better; TV didn't work. No hairdryer which at this price point I thought would be standard. WiFi intermittent. Bathroom definitely looking tired and in need of some renovation/upgrade. Breakfast was ok. Only had a vegetarian noodle option 50 % of our stay. Poor fruit selection. Overall we would recommend and would love to re book the same room.

Good central location. Beach front. Good Sandy Beach with crystal clear water. Nearby entertainment. Resort food was of good quality.

Staff were good and friendly when approached but weren't proactive or attentive to customer service for dining or Bar service. At breakfast, the Egg Station were serving cold eggs, they need to cook as requested like other establishments.
