Room was fine. Location was fine. A fairly typical airport hotel.

Clerk at check-in was constantly distracted watching other people walk by and not paying attention to me at all during the check-in process. Not very welcoming. Shuttle service drove past me 3 times while I was standing where the front desk told me to wait outside the lobby, even despite me waving to him. I had to stand in front of him the 3rd time in the middle of the driveway to get him to stop to pick me and the other guests up who were also waiting in the same area outside the lobby. Upon boarding, he stated we were not where we were supposed to be for the pick up outside the lobby. He also was about to miss my drop off Terminal at the airport had I not alerted him to the fact he was about to drive past my terminal. Hotel was great, staff not at all.

Hotel is pretty close to the airport, rooms were really nice, spacious and neat, you could hear no noise. Enough space and the bathroom was really nice. Beds were comfortable, and had enough energy outlets to charge devices and batteries of 4 people.

I think it has more to do with the airport, but trying to find the exact shuttle that was taking us to the hotel was quite difficult. I think we got to the shuttle waiting area when the shuttle had just departed, but 3 more minutes waiting and I was gonna take a cab (we waited almost like 30 or 35 min). I was tired and seeing all the shuttles coming and going, and reading Hilton in all of them, but none being the one taking me to the H Hotel was kinda annoying. Maybe having 1 more shuttle could make it easier, or specifying which shuttle you need to take (like pictures or what does the shuttle says on the outside) could make it easier for people going first time to the hotel and LAX.

Large and comfortable room a short walk from Terminal One. The H Hotel shares a building with the Homewood (both Hilton properties). This is an up to date and very comfortable hotel, nice rooms and amenities; huge bathroom; extremely comfortable bed. A good value for the money, as it was cheaper than other nearby hotels but much nicer. I had a wonderful view of stopped traffic on every street near the airport.

Check in was a little confusing, as there are two side-by-side desks and I accidentally went to the Homewood check-in, where for some reason my card didn't work. I was then shunted over to the H Hotel desk where I had to show ID etc. over again. The H hotel staff were really nice about it, the Homewood desk clerk, not so much.

Reception representative was outstanding. She was friendly, welcoming, professional, and provided us with room 914. The room was excellent! We enjoyed speaking with her. When we went down to check out the next morning, she was still working. Obviously a very dedicated employee. She greeted us, ask about our comfort, and wanted to know if there was anything more she could do for us. We’ve stayed

Although staff tries to control smoking, smoking in the breeze way fronting the entrance to the hotel lobby frequently occurs. When the front doors open, smoke is pulled into the hotel lobby, filling the reception area and much if the first floor with heavy smoke.

Great convenient location next to LAX airport, with a free shuttle that comes along every 20min or so. Got given late check out (an extra 2hrs) for free by signing up to their perks scheme. The beds were super comfortable, the best rest I had in a while. Housekeeping and maintenance staff were really helpful in aiding me to retrieve something that had fallen down the sink pipe. Front desk staff were also very friendly and helpful. We also had to change the dates our booking, which they accommodated for us, only charging us some extra for the difference between the room rates for the new dates.

We didn’t like being woken early at 9am by housekeeping knocking on our door. Granted, we hadn’t thought to put up a “do not disturb” sign but still, rather early to be coming around waking people up, in my opinion. Especially as we had arranged a 1pm check out and had planned to sleep in. We also received a charge of $13.59 to our card that was not refunded from the security deposit - we have no idea what this is for, no charges were mentioned to us on checking out. I have messaged the hotel on this platform and also tried calling, but have received no reply, so I guess we will never know what the charge was for but it’s not a significant enough amount for me to worry too much about it.

The hotel is beautiful, and I chose it because of plane spotting. The rooftop overlooks all the runways, which is perfect. I requested a room on the top floor, and luckily, the rooftop was on the same level, which made it very convenient for photography.

The hotel staff are not friendly at all, especially those at the reception. In addition, I had contacted them through Booking.com before my arrival to ask if there was an airport transfer service, but no one responded to my message.

Perfect location between flights. Staff were very helpful for bag storage for the day at Manhattan Beach following check out. Provided a transit lounge and shower for eight hours, which was perfect pre overnight flight. Great roof terrace. Used the diner and café on site, good value. Shuttle very timely for both flights. The bed was extremely comfortable and as I was ill, this was of great benefit. Shower was amazing.

Only thing would be there was no kettle in the room.

Late check-in was no problem. Airport shuttle was not there, it was very late like 1am, a different shuttle driver said " no problem I can take you there." there was staff at the front desk ready to give me my room key at 1 am and I did not arrange this service in advance. The waiter at the restaurant for breakfast was very nice, friendly helpful and charming. Good food.

The coffee maker in the room did not work. It was a complete mystery to me, and the staff at the front desk offered me a free cup of coffee if I went down to the lobby, which worked out well. That silly crazy coffee maker needs directions posted

I really enjoyed the stay and looking forward to when i go back in eight days time .

I was able to check in early and they had room ready for me It's close to the airport and shuttle busses are also ready and available to use.

The bed was big enough for me (1.84cm/ 6+ft) although the sheets were a little small for me (that's what I experience in every hotel though. I wasn able to get WiFi on my phone, however that might've been a phone issue and not a hotel issue. And last I had some issues with the TV remote. These were just minor issues and didn't affect my sleep 😉
