This was the nicest place we’ve stayed at in a long time. The lobby was decorated so nicely and comfortable. Made you feel welcomed. The breakfast was great with a variety of choices and someone right there to help you if needed. Even though the room hasn’t been updated in a while it was comfortable and very clean. I have Clorex wipes that I go over everything in the room. When I was done the wipe had no dirt or dust it picked up. That means it was already clean. Being stressed from traveling, the sauna and pool were so relaxing, and the staff were so friendly. We travel every few months and will make sure we stay here again.

There’s not much we didn’t like, it was all perfect. Maybe update the rooms, but that’s not to important.

For a "motel" style stay the facilities are top notch. Probably in the top 5% of places we've stayed. I can't remember another motel that could martch them. Rooms are big and top 10% for cleanliness and there was nothing run down at all in our room. Eveything was up to date

The thing we didn't like isn't really their fault and can be easily avoided if you just ask to stay in the side opposite of the highway. The highway is really close to one side of the hotel and while it didn't effect my wife I had a really hard time sleeping with the loud traffic. But again, if you ask them to put you up on the other side, you won't find a better motel style stay. Rooms were big and very clean.

We have stayed here 3 times on our way home from Florida. Our first visit was so very nice, we decided it would always be our go to hotel. The staff is very nice, the ladies in the kitchen make the best cookies and the ladies are very sweet and welcoming, the breakfast is very good, and the beds are very comfortable and sheets on the bed are so soft. The front desk area is decorated is such a lovely “homey” way.

The rooms could use an update. And we prefer the regular size pillows, they have the smaller square pillows.

The staff was very friendly and the lobby & outside was nicely decorated.

There were stink bugs in our room, the accent chair that was in there was disgusting and I wouldn’t dare to sit on it, we asked for an extra pillow and they didn’t have any because they had given the last one out but the pillows in the room were awful they were square like a couch pillow. The room also had a strange smell. The breakfast was all convenience foods and nothing like I remember from 5 years ago.

The lobby was the most inviting lobby I've been in even though I've been in much bigger and more expensive hotels. Ms. Connie was very nice. The breakfast area was sparkling clean. When we asked for pool towels, the front staff hunted them down and brought them out to us. The staff really cares about the hotel and it's obvious.

Your hot tub was not warm at all. We were looking forward to a good soak and were so disappointed to find the water was cold. Bubbly, but cold. Please get that fixed. Otherwise, no complaints at all. Our room was sparkling clean just like the rest of the hotel and grounds.

The staff at the desk, and in the lobby are outstanding. The lobby area is warm and well decorated. The room was a bit dated, but clean. The breakfast in the morning was outstanding. Among other items, they had premade sausage and eggs in several forms in a cooler that you simply warmed up a bit. They have an automatic, pancake machine and waffle machine. There was even gravy that you could heat up and put over biscuits. The staff was always there to clean up the tables as people left. This place is an inexpensive gem!

The only criticism I can make is that the room smelled a little of perfume. I believe that someone had smoked in it previously and they applied something to remove the smell.

Very cozy lobby decorated for winter holidays. Responsive, courteous staff. Comfortable mattress and room. Fast check in and check out. Amazing breakfast staff with a great breakfast!

I do not fault the staff or property but one guest was clueless and warmed up their car 4-6am with headlights facing directly into our room window. Was able to speak to this guest once she returned to her running car after 6am.

Location was fantastic. Went to visit some on NC mountains and waterfalls and it was a 45-minute drive or less to 2 different state parks and at least 3 mountains. The breakfast was phenomenal, staff was extremely friendly, professional and customer service driven.

The bathrooms had some water damage in the walls behind the toilet tissue holder and in the shower. The wall was extremely hollow with the whole wall shaking when you went to unroll some toilet tissue and the same with the shower wall, the whole thing would wobble and shake when retrieving a washcloth from the towel bar in the shower itself.

Wonderful. Great location and surprisingly quiet. Bed was wonderful- very very comfortable. Night auditor (front desk check on) was super, such a nice and helpful person. Breakfast was great. Facility was super clean.

Not that I minded our room location but I would have preferred the other side after I saw the beautiful view that side of the building had. Maybe because we have a dog we were put on the other side.

We stopped on our way home from Florida to cut the drive in half. We got in late and the front desk worker was SO NICE. the lobby was beautiful and I did not expect it to be so nice for the price I paid. The bed was comfy. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. The premade sandwhiches were great to hit the road!

Loved everything about it. Only regret was not being able to go in the pool with having to get back on the road!
