Location is ideal for those wishing to walk to Main Street. It's only a few minutes away with lots of "Mayberry" to experience nearby. The BEST part was lingerin' an' visitin' after breakfast with our most gracious host, Neise. Her sense of humor and timing as she told heartwarmingly visual stories was just what we needed to make our time in Mt. Airy even more memorable. Loved it!!! // Try the Pork Chop Sandwich "all the way" at Snappy Lunch, and DEFINITELY book a Squad Car tour down at Wally's Service Station. You'll see everything you're lookin' for!

Nothing. We had a delightful time and caught some very pleasant weather.

Pleasantly surprised that I had a larger-than-expected room. I also enjoyed the coffee available (and water/fridge) right outside the room. Ample parking. Walkable to the downtown. All excellent.

Only one thing I'd recommend - the front door lock was a bit finicky. If you knew how to use it, was simple. My friend had to figure it out/show me. I suggest putting a photo of the "lock" and "unlock" positions along with directions in how to do it. I'm not normally familiar with these types of locks.

This was the first time we had stayed in a B & B. I was very nervous, because I did not know what to really expect. I was very comfortable as soon as we arrived. The home was in a perfect, the room was perfect and the host was amazing. I felt that I was with family. And I should add everything we did was in walking distance.

That I had to leave. That meant that I had to go home and go back to work.

The perfect choice for our visit to Mt. Airy. The house is within walking distance of Main St, the Andy Griffith museum and several other attractions. Neise and Charlie are wonderful hosts. The daily breakfast was perfect. Our room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was big enough for both of us to prep for the day.

The only down side was carrying suitcases up the winding stairs. Beautiful stairs but lol

Bee's B&B was perfect! Niese called to let us know our room was ready earlier than check-in time. We made ourselves comfy and got acquainted with the other guests who filled us in on the town. We were within walking distance to most everything in town. Breakfast both mornings was exceptional! Getting to sit and chat with Niese and Charlie was so much fun! If back in that area, we will definitely stay again!

staff attentive and wonderful. Bed very comfortable and many snacks out for guests to enjoy. TV choice cable good. Location very good to see town.

bedrooms upstairs and no elevator and steep stairs. No one to to bags up so we had to leave bags down. limited parking but we were lucky to be only guest so got spot. Breakfast was not very good and limited as owner cooked only. My husband diabetic and so pancakes were not good option. felt cheese platter, bread choices and fruit bowl would have made a better breakfast .

Neise (host) was kind and friendly and the breakfast she prepared was so delicious! The location was excellent and a short walk from the Autumn Leaves Festival. The room was spacious with a bed so comfortable I had to pry myself out of it, mornings! Our room had a large bathroom with a double shower and super soft linens.

We loved everything!

The location was great as it was very close to Main Street. Our host was very friendly, and is a former caterer who can really cook, so breakfast was amazing!

It rained. You can't control the weather!

I liked the location being close to the center of town. Well within walking distance. Facilities were well kept, Breakfast was delicious.

All the furniture was for comfort, I would have liked a chair and desk as I needed to work on my computer and could not do so in my room. However I was able to come downstairs and work in the dining area. The only shortcoming was my laptop charger had a three prong plug and I was unable to locate an outlet that was three prong. But I had enough battery to complete my work.

Very quaint old farmhouse style house close to shops in Mt. Airy. Owner/Host Denise couldn’t have been nicer and very informative of the area. Her breakfast was delicious and charmingly presented.
