We had horrible weather and delay after delay with snow and ice in Pittsburgh and in the tunnels on our way was an additional three-hour delay. Our clerk was exhausted and so were we. When I arrived, he did not accept pets. I have a service dog. No problems, but he was not happy, and frankly neither was I. I tried to get to a family funeral on time. We did not arrive until 4 am. I had to go to an atm to get money. I did. I slept and left 4 hours later, his last words to me was try to get here a little earlier next time. We both made the best of a challenging situation.

The clerk was very pleasant. No phone, only email. I had a hardees bisquit for breakfast. First one in twenty years! Basic shelter, good location. Safe.

It was clean and comfortable. All the amenities were in working order. Very peaceful and restful stay. Bed as comfortable as any I’ve slept on in higher end hotels. G.Patel, owner and host, was very kind and helpful.

It is a dated building and expectingly has the smell of such a building. That being said, no worst odor than staying in my grandmothers house as a child.

Exceptional for price. Very clean for a lower priced motor lodge. Quiet, great shower water pressure and temperature. Good quality TV reception and comfortable bed. Office man was nice and efficient.

For us nothing … we just wanted a clean quiet room to sleep in. Some people will not like the wood paneling and older furniture that makes the room dark.

Good bed, large room and clean. I appreciate the older look. A bit of nostalgia. It was like sleeping at your grandmas house. I paid $60 per night which was very fair. If they were to ever raise the rates I would be slightly hesitant.

No USB ports anywhere for charging. Would be a big difference for guests with little cost to the hotel.

Motel is in a good general location, not too far from Floyd or surrounding areas. Motel is clean and price is very reasonable. Overall a good clean place to stay for the money.

Motel has the 70's motif and I think it could use some upgrades. They had coffee for guests but it was cold.

I like that you can park right outside the door. Beds are super comfy with good linens.

Very hard to talk to desk clerk for any concern, request or problem. No phone # to call. Waited in lobby, knocked on window and called out. No problem with the actual clerk though. And everything was taken care of.

We really enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfy and we really enjoyed sitting and spending time together outside. Would absolutely stay again

There was no cold water, but I just think they had some handy work going on...I don't think it's normal.

clean comfortable room. Everything works. a/c heat is good. refrig and micro. This isn't a Luxury hotel. But if you want a clean comforable room at a good price it is good. I have stayed here multiple times and like it here.

The location was excellent for the reason we were in Hillsville. One of the quietest motels we have stayed in over the years. The price is hard to beat. The cleanliness was excellent.

No breakfast provided, only coffee, but it was good. Very convenient location for our purposes. Room was basic, but clean. Bed was comfortable. Room was spacious, and convenient for having our own breakfast and snacks.

Grounds could be cleaner. Very little availability or contact with management. AC equipment could use updating.
