Well locate it could’ve been a little better maintained for the Dog Walking area

I made the reservation online and when I got there I was told that I could get a dog friendly room only if I called the facility directly. On my online reservation I did note that I had a small dog. It was a little inconvenient because my dog is blind and I had to deal with a set of steps carrying a dog. Good location - Very accessible for passing through on a road trip. Reasonable price - Very clean and spacious King room. Attentive front desk staff - There was an issue with my credit card being charged twice, but the staff was very empathetic and resolved the issue within 24 hours.

The check in process was a little bit chaotic - The staff was unsure about having a room available for me and then charged my credit card full price for the stay even though I had prepaid on Booking.com

Great location. Near the highway with a gas station on site, as well as a Subway.Rooms were clean and comfortable.

The checking procedure was the most intense process I've ever encountered in my travels. They needed the license of everyone in our group, as well as plate numbers for our bikes. Took along time to get checked in. When I asked why they needed all of our info she said it was company policy. Interestingly, we stayed at another Red Roof Inn later in the trip and none of that was needed.

Check in was a delight with front desk staff. Lovely young lady who was efficient, friendly and accommodating. Room was super clean, beds comfy and it was so refreshing to not have to pay extra for the fur baby. They provided an extremely pleasant dog friendly grass area that was well lit at night. Well done Red Roof! Location was 1 minute from the interstate and yet it was quiet and you did not hear the truck traffic.

Hallways were noisy, we were woken up by noisy neighbors. Perhaps carpeting (floor runner) would help.

Surprisingly nice for the price. I like how there was wood floor instead of carpet and you could tell it was very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Its nice that there is a microwave and mini fridge in the room. also I like how they had good security, since I was moving I had all my things in my car.

The shower curtain didn't work very good, had quite the puddle on the floor but It was fine I dried it with a towel. There is only a really small bottle of shampoo and no conditioner. But I had my own stuff so it wasn't a problem :)

The location was perfect as I was heading up towards I-81. Last year along the same journey I stayed at the M6 across the street and it was disgusting.

When I got in the room I found a used empty pizza box in the top of the closet and a wet washcloth hanging from the shower curtain rod. I also didn't like the horrible signal the TV gets, or at least my room. In today's day and age you shouldn't have a snowy picture. Maybe throughout?

Clean, friendly staff and comfortable beds

The hotel does sit very close to the highway and there was an overpass right outside our window and every time a vehicle went across the overpass, it sounded like thunder rumbling. It does make for some difficulty sleeping. I think we would have been fine if we had been on the back side of the building. I will remember to request that the next time we stay with you.

Conveniently located right off the highway. Updated hotel with new tv’s, hard floors, mini fridge and microwave. Room was clean. Hotel lobby was clean. Hallways were clean. Plenty of security with cameras. Breakfast was basic but good - muffins, bagels, toast, coffee, juice and apples. Would stay here again.

The beds weren’t that comfortable - they were pretty loud when you got off and on them. Pillows were lumpy.

My small, leashed dog was attacked and injured in the motel parking lot by an out-of-control, unleashed German Shepherd belonging to another guest. That guest then fled the scene (rapidly left the motel in their vehicle) without providing me with any information. The motel staff, including Hannah (desk clerk), Jamie (desk clerk) and "H" (assistant manager) were extremely helpful in helping me identify this individual. Without their help, I would not have been able to get the information I needed. I am extremely grateful to the Red Roof Inn staff for handling this situation appropriately and efficiently.

My car broke down close to Hillsville and the staff were very friendly and helpful as I worked through repairing it with a nearby mechanic. The hotel building itself looked a little older but my room was clean and quiet it looked like they had done some recent updates on the interior. Overall very happy with the experience of staying here.

The breakfast was pretty basic; no protein except peanut butter. :)
