Beautiful location and its a lovely place to stay. It would be a great place to stay for a family reunion or group meet up with private rooms and shared living spaces. The location has wonderful views and is in the middle of Fryes and its riverside park and restaraunts. Check in was done by text and was quite easy.

Thought I locked my phone in the room and had to ask another guest to use thier phone to contact the host. Luckily I found my phone in the kitchen . It would be nice to have an alternative communication available.

The property is accessed by keypad. During my stay I did not see any staff or other guests. It is a large place, very clean and fine for this small town. Interesting local historic photos on the walls. Lovely view of the dam.

No lamps anywhere. All ceiling 'can' lighting that was not dim-able. So either it was overly bright or nothing. This was inconvenient in the guest room. I used my phone. Not a deal breaker, but very odd.

My room overlooked the running rapids of the New River which I could listen to all night. Very clean and comfortable. Spacious shared kitchen that was very clean, modern, and well stocked with dishes and utensils, refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, microwave (including coffee pods for your enjoyment). Lovely small town on the river. The host was very accommodating and kind.

This place is amazing! The hotel keepers were super friendly and helpful. Excellent location for biking new river trail. Gorgeous views of the dam from the back deck. Fries is a very sweet little town. I stayed with my husband and baby. We highly recommend Washington Inn!

I like how peaceful it was. The river is right there. There’s a lot of things to do like go kayaking just a beautiful scenery unfortunately I was only there for the night, but I would like to go back and spend some time.

The is a great historic place with beautiful views! Great communication with the property owner/manager. Clean rooms and a comfortable bed.

Bed was very firm, wasn’t the most comfortable. Would have been nice to have a tv in the room.

Everything about this place is awesome. From the old home feel to the beautiful views. The kitchen was a great amenity! We will be back and we will tell our friends! Thanks Kim

Old charm and everything we needed to make a comfortable stay

Poor wifi signal and connection. This additionally made the TV reception poor. TV improved later in the day/evening of our stay.

Inn was a great place to stay in Fries on our bike packing trip. We were able to store our bicycles safely inside. Would certainly recommend.
