This was the perfect place for us on our trip down to OBX. We wanted a place around the half way point of our trip. We stayed going down and coming back. Very nice place and would recommend it for anyone needing a nice place to spend the night. Also, the restaurant attached was a nice addition and it was unlike any Mexican restaurant we have been to. The food is made to order and you have time to sit and enjoy your chips and salsa. Jim and Michelle were very friendly and helpful. We will be adding this place to our yearly trip down to N. Carolina.

Incredibly clean with exceptional hosts! The motel itself is older and shows its age, but the couple who runs it works very hard to make sure you have a wonderful stay. They make homemade cinnamon rolls for guests for breakfasts, host bonfires with s’mores in the evenings when the weather is nice, and they had sweet little fox keychains for our kids as gifts. They’ve owned the motel less than a year and are working on updates. We will be glad to stay again next year on our trip through the mountains.

The welcome and friendliness of the owners. When we arrived, it was like we just arrived at your sister and brothers house not a inn. It was warm and cozy. They had coffee, several flavors of hot tea and hot chocolate. They had a bonfire going and our outlet door light was on to welcome us🥰.

That we arrived late and were to tired to enjoy the fire. That we didn't have more nights available to stay longer. Would have loved to been able to tired the area some instead of just driving through.

You can tell the owners have put a lot of time into upgrading the facility. The beds were comfortable, rooms were nice, and I appreciated how easy it was to get off and on 81. The "breakfast" in the morning was coffee and homemade cinnamon rolls. And the cinnamon rolls were AMAZING! We stayed a single night, but we will be staying again.

I have no complaints. Maybe the pillows were too soft?! But that is a personal thing.

Everything...... this place couldn't be better. I will stay there every time I am in the area. Trust in this review because it's the only place I have ever gave a perfect score. The Fox Mountain Inn even has a restaurant next door, right next to the Inn. The owners just do everything to make sure you have a Great stay. Troy William Johnson, Corunna Michigan.

Zero everything was top notch.

It was very clean and we felt safe staying there. And was easy to get back on the highway. The beds were so comfortable too. The owners recently purchased this older strip motel and are working so hard to bring it up to the high standards most travelers are hoping for. We said we will definitely stay there again on our next trip south.

The owners are so friendly and take such pride in their place. It is so quaint. The rooms are clean and comfortable. You don't get this kind of feeling when you stay in the big chain motels. Definitely will be back.

This motel met my needs. Small mom and pop motel. Clean and comfortable. Friendly owners.

Nice little motel. Exceptionally clean, pretty area and lots of green space. Definitely dog friendly. Owners are very friendly and helpful but also give you your space. Coffee and cinnamon rolls in the lobby. My only wish is for coffee access in the rooms. That said, we look forward to staying again.

Loved the little quaint motel. So much better than the bigger hotels. Recently remodeled and very clean. Very friendly staff. Will stay again if in the area.

This place was so nice, the owners were nice the room was nice everything was nice. I booked because I saw the high rating and I was not disappointed. Side note: The cinnamon rolls in the morning were a hit! They were so tasty and a great start to the day.
