Reception both upon check-in as well as upon check-out was very friendly and helpful . Good inside bike storage behind the hotel . Walking distance to multiple good restaurants . Room 351 was good sized with comfortable bed . Clean with only one window which would have been a major problem if it were warmer due to lack of ventilation. Bathroom clean with toiletries . Breakfast was quite good with multiple hot and cold food choices . Nice lounge down in lobby area with free coffee ,tea and water as well as beer, wine and soft drinks for purchase day and night .Has an elevator but it truly is the smallest elevator that I have ever seen .

The bathroom had a faint foul musty odor . Could use an update in the near future . Major problem with ventilation - perhaps a fan would have helped

Stylish hotel in the middle of the city. The hotel has been completely renovated and the room was like new. The interior of the room was beautiful and the peaceful color scheme was pleasing to the eye. Our room faced the courtyard and was quiet. The hotel restaurant was old-fashioned stylish and there was a peaceful atmosphere at breakfast. The breakfast itself was good in my opinion, everything I needed was found. Special mention for the fresh juices, of which the rhubarb juice was my favorite.

Lovely friendly staff. Charming older style decor and furnishings. Complementary glass of wine and nuts between 5 and 6 every day was a very nice touch. Breakfast was ample and a good selection. Great location and very central for bars and restaurants, train and bus station.

No toaster available to make toast although bread rolls ets were nice.

Hotel Ansgar is traditional and holds the values of good service and is exactly how all hotels should be. You are checked in properly and quickly

I wish I could have stayed longer. There is really nothing to dislike about the ansgar. Its a real gem and the value for money is perfect

Friendly staff with well-equipped room. There is an elevator, though it's small.

The hotel usually has parking in the courtyard, but due to some constructions, it's no longer available. However, if you come with a motorcycle, they can still find space for private parking (free).

The hotel is conveniently located near the city center. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Also there is a parking places close to the hotel.

I stayed there only for two nights and didn't see anything inconvenient.

A very warm welcome from Soren in reception and he had outstanding customer service. Clean, comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast food choice. Close walk to the railway station and very close to the main town square and pedestrian shopping street. I would definitely return.

The coffee machines dispense instant coffee, not real coffee. That was the ONLY negative for me.

We really liked the complimentary glass of wine when we arrived at 5:30 pm after a long day's trip. The room was clean and spacious and the breakfast was good.

We would have enjoyed real glasses in our room and not paper cups also the Internet was unreliable.

The breakfast is good, properly served and completed by the personnel (breakfast buffet type ) but it is not extraordinary. A decent one! The location, on the other hand, is very good, in the city center, a few hundred meters from the city's central square, where festivals, concerts, etc. take place.

I can't say that there was anything out of order. The first room was small, but the receptionist changed it for us the next day, without paying anything extra. A small negative point was the fact that we could not check out late, although there were plenty of free rooms (I checked on Booking.com). However, they allowed us to stay in the Lobby, possibly drink coffee, until 5:00pm, which was a nice thing. All in all, a white ball and a quality and helpful staff. The only downside was the price, which would have deserved something a little better.

The hotel is centrally located, with a small car park and comfortable rooms in a newly renovated historic building. Breakfast is plentiful, and complimentary wine is available (for free!).
