I visited alone and felt genuinely welcomed—the staff were friendly and generous throughout. The breakfast was generous and varied, with clear attention to quality. Dinner was good and thoughtfully prepared, though not exceptional. The price, while on the higher side, felt fair given the beautiful setting and attentive service. Rooms are simple yet elegant, with a calm, understated charm. Also ideal for families: there’s a playground next to the dining area, so parents can dine while children play within sight.

A little upgrade in the furniture and room fixtures would elevate the stay from great to exceptional

This is a great hotel located in a great place managed by wonderful people! Breakfast was great, fresh and delicious! So was the diner in the evening, with full restaurant but not too much waiting for your order and having a whole lot of kind attention of the people from the hotel/restaurant. Parking free of charge, way enough place for it. Great walking around with beautiful landscapes and views of the powerful North Sea and the countryside. Close to small town Ribe with historical downtown and ancient cathedral. Some little nice restaurants. Again, great smiling people there, thank you, thanks Denmark! CU!

The hotel is located about 5 kilometers from Scandinavia's oldest city Ribe. The surroundings of the hotel are really nice, ideal for long walks and bike rides. We had a very spacious room with a balcony overlooking the water. Room was clean and quite new. Really friendly staff, they made us some extra coffee to take on the long ride home. We had dinner at the restaurant once and it was lovely.

The breakfast was fine, although there were a lot of flies around the cheese and meat. It would have been better if there was something protecting the food.

The location was exceptional and unique. Not far from Ribe, and right in the national park near the ocean. The staff were exceedingly helpful. They went to great lengths to ensure our stay was smooth and comfortable. For example, we had been saddled with a rental car that was electric and that we could not charge at the regular charge stations. The staff here helped us get plugged in to their chargers and made sure we were okay. The room had an excellent view, and the restaurant food was fantastic.

Facilities were rather basic. Be aware that while we had an en-suite bathroom, many of the rooms did not.

We liked the danish hygge vibe of this accomodation. We liked the location in the national park Vadehavet, near the lovely city Ribe. Each morning we had amazing breakfast. Our room was white, spatious and clean. It contained everything we needed. It was easy to park car near the accomodation.

We knew that this accomodation has a shared bathroom. The toilet was in the bathroom that contained 1 shower and 1 sink. What surprised us was that the pretty large bathroom allowed the toilet to be separated from the rest of the bathroom, but it was not. Anyways, there were 2 such bathrooms on our floor. The bathrooms were clean, only once did it happen to us that both bathrooms (and therefore the toilets) were occupied.

It was a first experience in Kammerslusen and it was a very good one. 10 min away from Ribe. The room was clean and I had everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. I was a little bit skeptic about shared bathroom but it appeared that it was nothing to be afraid of. Two bathrooms were available so there was no need to wait for one anytime. Choosing breakfast in the hotel was a good idea, too. I must also add that all stuff was extremely helpful and friendly during my whole stay. Mange tak!

The location was excellent as we were travelling with dogs and nice walk straight from the property. Junior suite was spacious and has cooker and full size fridge. Staff were very welcoming and friendly.

Breakfast was ok but as there was no fruit or milk alternatives.

More of an apartment than a suite, with a fully-equiped kitchen, dinner table, a spacious and comfortable seating area, and a twin bed in a separate room. The property is set in a beautiful location, with panoramic views over the surrounding landscape, and yet close to the historic city of Ribe. It's very cheap compared to other rooms/apartments of this size.

Walls are thin, so you will hear some sounds from the hallways (however, since this property seems to attract mostly quiet types, there was not much of a disturbance). There was a spider's web with a dead fly hanging from the ceiling, but otherwise everything was spotless.

Rooms were basic, but very clean and had everything you might need—including a table and chairs and a small electric kettle. I liked that there was also access to a small shared kitchen.

The whole floor shares two bathrooms and each of the bathrooms includes both shower and toilet—it would be nice if there were access to just toilets or sinks in the rooms so you don’t end up waiting for someone in the shower when you just want to brush your teeth.

Conveniently located room, closeby Ribe and many sights and activities in the Wadden Sea area. The room is just what you need, nothing more or less, but the surroundings and the view off the dike are just spectacular! Perfect sunsets, jumping fish, visiting seals, ... it was wonderful. We didn't have breakfast, but dinner was very good.

2 bathrooms for 8 rooms leads to some waiting time when showering. It's especially inconvenient that showers & toilets are in the same space: if 2 people take a shower you can't go to the toilet upstairs.
