Lovely hotel in a beautiful location, probably the best we stayed in on our 10-day holiday cycling around Funen. There was a large conference at the hotel the evening we stayed, which meant the restaurant was busy & noisy. But we were allowed to eat dinner outside on the patio with splendid views. An excellent meal too and the chef's bread was delicious.

The breakfast didn't quite meet the very high standards of the previous night's dinner: there was no fruit available or Danish pastries - most unusual for a Danish hotel.

Just wonderful location for a weekend stay - no less than excellent breakfast with lots of home-made things, including piping hot home-made breads in different versions. Just a feast! Dinner was also an enjoyable experience with great food and a wine selection also on higher level without being extreme

Had a room with a bathroom for disabled - that was not very comfortable and the floor was ICE cold in spite of air temperature being quite warm. Bed/bedding was not quite comfortable but certainly not bad. I just really dont like fiber duvets or pillows. They are very warm to use, and I like to sleep cold

Great hotel, beautifully located in nature at sea and hotel garden/park, had very nice diner on one evening, and breakfast very nice too. We rented bikes there to cycle to the lighthouse on Helnæs, beautiful island nature with typical Danish houses

Unique location and beautiful view from the balcony of the suite. Breakfast consists of mainly homemade food and the atmosphere is relaxing and warming.

Incorrect information about the charging options on the website (charging is available but not cheap)

Mostly a conference hotel, located in an astonishingly beautiful setting ion the middle of a stately seaside park. Our rooms were basic but functional (after all, it's mainly a conference hotel). Don't forget to reserve your dinner table at the hotel restaurant, the food is excellent and alternatives few and far between. Staff is very friendly.

Beautiful location with gardens and areas for walking. Perfect beds and bathroom. Very nice buildings. We would really like to stay again

Varying experiences with the staff, from extremely nice and funny, to a slight feeling of being a naughty boy (I am close to 59) in a couple of settings that were not necessary

The staff were lovely and the location is fantastic. A really relaxing stay and we were made to feel very welcome. The on site restaurant is also excellent!

The location of the hotel is beautiful next to the sea and a large green garden. The breakfast was really great as well as the dinner in the hotel restaurant.

For a hotel out in the countryside where guests often arrive after some journey some sort of lunch/sandwich should be offered . You cannot just walk down the road and get some.

Beautiful, very well maintained garden area with several walking paths, hammocks next to the sea, an outdoor gym and fire place and many nice spots to enjoy a relaxed holiday. Breakfast was perfect with special treats.

Price is too high for a very small and basic room. Staff was reserved.
