Nice and cozy place. Located close to the city center and looks like far out in the countryside. The winter garden is beautiful to hang off. Restaurant is beautiful, food is delicious. Friendly personnel. A place to return to (at least we will do for sure).

The opening mechanism and opening direction of the room and house doors are a bit strange - even taking into account that outer doors in Denmark tend to go "the other way". So your companion can easily be smashed and squeezed upon entry. Also, it is advisable to keep any high heels far away: The main court is paved with medieval type rounded cobblestone. But the whole complex consists of restored farm and yard buildings, this is the price for the charming look...

The room was quite warm and has no airconditioning. Opening a window helps a little bit but then one my question if everything is still safe & secure with fairly easy access from the outside. The shower window can be opened but then a passer by can see straight into the shower / bathroom so from a privacy point of view not ideal

The historical building is pictureque and well maintained, even though it is attached to a petrol station and car-wash and it is very close to a busy road. Without those it would be idyllic! Bikes were rented for free and this a very good service. I had a problem with the key and staff was very kind to find another one to let me in the room. Rooms at the first floor of the old building have all a sloping ceiling, which is charming, but togehter with steep stairs must be considered when you book a room.

Breakfast area was not so large and when people arrived all together there was a sort of crowd which made uneasy to reach the table and take food. Selection of products like cheese, jams, bread, was not particularly wide and pastries were poor.

Amazing Danish breakfast with home made Brunsviger which was delicious! Kettle and tea and coffe in room, comfortable nights sleep, good sized bathroom with soap and showergel provided. Courtyard view of the free car park, and nice area. Some traffic but no noise issues. Walked to the city centre which took half an hour, bikes were available to hire if we chose

Doors were a bit stiff and cumbersome, no lift when we had a big heavy suitcase

Very fancy spot. I spent one night going to Eghjorten Disc Gold park the next day, which lies some kilometers away. Highly recommend both the hotel and the course. Good selections on the breakfast.

Nothing comes to mind. It's an old historic building so of course it's gonna be a bit more pricey for the cost focused traveler.

Arrived early staff had a problem outside one was upset asked if we could check in receptionist wasn't helpful asked if we could have lunch was told restaurant opens at 5.30pm ok not a problem asked which way to the town center pointed in a direction and said that way we left returned later different story very helpful breakfast staff need some guidance no hot water for tea glasses run out guests had to ask for more for juice staff very sharp guests had to keep asking for items to be replenished never asked if we wanted coffee had to help ourselves from a empty table

Karen at the front desk is fantastic. We had an issue with our cell phone and she did her best to help resolve the issue. That was above and beyond. Karen is also a wealth of knowledge on Denmark and provided many recommendations on what to see in the area or on route to our next destination. The hotel is also undergoing renovations on various parts or buildings and I think that will be welcome changes. The renovations did not impact our stay. Very quiet stay and restful. Breakfast was great. Would stay again.

Not really a negative but more a note to say that the hotel is updating/upgrading the premises. So, improving what may be considered by some as an older. Kudos to the hotel for doing what is needed to keep the property fresh and current!

The staff at reception were absolutely amazing. They all made us feel welcome and very well received, from the moment we checked in, all along all our stay, and even after we checked out –we had a little problem about a sweater I forgot in the room, and the staff were very quick to respond and they promptly solved it. The location is very quiet, which I appreciate greatly, the breakfast is very varied, and the room was perfect and very cozy with everything we needed for our stay, just as we wanted.

We liked absolutely everything except perhaps the cleanliness. It was not bad, but we would expect for it to be more thorough in the room and its private bathroom between a check out and the next check in.

Not too far out from centre of hotel. Plenty of free parking. Room was not in main hotel building but in one of the annex buildings on ground floor. Clean. Room was average size. Had desk and chair. TV, free WiFi. Separate wardrobe area for hanging clothes with drawers. Tea/Coffee making facilities in room. Small bathroom with shower. Underfloor heating. Fresh towels. Hairdryer. Breakfast buffet style mix of hot and cold options. Friendly, helpful staff.

Room was on ground floor, looking out to car park. No net curtain so people passing could see in. Also room was very hot, could not leave window open, no latch so it would blow right open when caught with wind. Did ask at reception for a fan which was given and certainly cooled the room down.

The breakfast each day was amazing and all the staff were so helpful. They even squeezed us in for an amazing evening meal on day of arrival in spite of being booked. The location was on a busy road but we never heard any traffic noise.

The room was quite dated and a bit dusty. That saying the facilities were good
