Kragsbjerggaard‘s best feauture is its big and cosy yard, very safe, very hygge. My son spent a lot of time in that yard playing football and giant chess. So it’s not just about the room you rent, it’s also about a charming place outside where you can sit and relax. We noticed that the beds were really cosy, too. The sleep was so sound.

One thing that I found slightly uncomfortable is poor sound isolation. I guess it’s because the building is old. So if you laugh, cough, fart or snore in the room, it might be heard.

The hotel is located a bit outside of the city center (around 2km). The room itself is quite small, but that was expected given the price we paid. The hostel has a nice courtyard where you can relax and a small forest behind it to walk in. The kitchen and dining area were clean and spacious. There is also a game area where you can play table tennis. Don't forget your bed linen, it's quite expensive to rent.

The room was a bit warm, we had the luck to get good weather in September and were right below the roof. So no airco and opening the window sets you up for a lot of itchy red bumps from mosquitoes.

Handy location on a walking distance to the city center. Beautiful old buildings and courtyard. Beds were comfortable.

Maybe I was too tired during booking but it wasn't clear to me that the bed linen was not included in the room price. You can use your own if you have them and save some money in that way, but if you don't you have to pay extra for the bed linen. Probably you can pay the bed linen already during booking, but for me it wasn't clear.

Kragsbjerggaard is an absolutely fantastic place to stay in Odense & was perfect for my needs of being within walking distance to my elderly aunts house. Everything... from the reception staff, the spotless & comfortable rooms, to the delicious breakfast every morning...was perfect. The friendly communication from the reception before & during my stay was excellent...and they even kindly called a taxi for me when I checked out ;-)

The location was great and the room was just as we expected and very clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The overall facility seemed very well-appointed and fantastic for young children as well as adults. We did not have breakfast there, so cannot comment on it.

I have no complaints or suggested improvements.

We had a big, modern and clean room, the sanitary rooms have aged a bit, but are functional. The staff is very nice. The communal kitchen didn’t have enough towels but was otherwise ok. Rental bikes from a local vendor are available on site, but are quite pricy for the state that they are in (100 DKK/day).

The room was super clean and staff very friendly! A beautiful little spot to stay.

I have emailed the accommodation twice and haven't received a response. Maybe I went to junk? When booking through booking.com we didn't see that there was an extra charge for linen.

Odense is the best town in Denmark! And this hostel is much more better than other hostels where I'd stayed ever. Very clean, the room was like in a real hotel, with comfortable beds, own toilet and bathroom, the common kitchen is very well equipped, huge and clean. The location is great, 3 stops or 15 minutes walk from the old city centre. The hostel has a huge garden/courtyard, you can play chess and "tennis", and also table tennis with your children. In the town AND the countryside you can use a cheap tourist-ticket for 24 or 72 hours for all the buses, so you can see other villages like Kerteminde with a cool aquarium, a viking museum and you can swim in the sea! Let's discover Odense and stay in this hostel! :)

Everything was perfect.

Very nice, quiet place with common kitchen. Very good communication with the staff. The place not far from the centre of Odense. Big room with comfortable beds. Clean bathrooms. Big car park in front of the building.

We booked 4 beds, they gave us 8 people's dorm. So we got a big space and enjoyed everything there. The facilities, kitchen, shower room and toilet are very good and very clean. It's 25-30 mins walk or 15 mins by bus from the down town, but once you arrive the hostel, you can rent a bike there, so it's not a problem to get to the town. Biking to the town is just 10mins!

A bit far from the town, but it's acceptable
