Friendly professional staff. The building is old but facilities are up to date. Right opposite the train station and a short walk to the centre. Room was spacious and comfortable.

The building itself is absolutely stunning , from the outside, it has a timeless elegance, and once inside, you feel like you've stepped into a movie from the 1950s. The location is fantastic, very central and convenient for exploring the city. My room was a solo room, and while it wasn’t very spacious, it was comfortable enough and had everything I needed. Everything was spotlessly clean, and I felt comfortable and well taken care of during my entire stay. One of the highlights for me was the staff. They were incredibly kind, helpful, and proactive, always ready with a smile and quick to assist with anything I needed. The breakfast was also a nice touch, fresh and tasty, with good variety. A lovely extra touch was the free coffee and snacks available, it made the stay feel even more welcoming.

Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here. However, the Wi-Fi connection in my room was quite slow; it worked better in the common areas. And the breakfast was the same every day, it would be nice to have a bit more variety.

The location is perfect, easy to locate close to the train station and other public transport. Serene environment. A walking distance to the shopping streets. The hospitality of the staff is topnotch. I have absolutely no regrets about choosing this hotel. Breakfast is amazing. Comfortable room and bed. We really enjoyed our stay. The reviews are not cooked at all. They are real experiences of satisfied guest. And I'm proud to share mine as well.

The location of this hotel could not have been better: perfect for the early train we had to catch, and very quiet despite the fact it's located in front of the train station. The room was very large with a beautiful huge bed in the middle and a sleeping couch turned into a bunk bed for the kids. Although breakfast is only served by 7:30 on Sundays, the extremely nice guy doing the night shift took good care of us and had it ready much earlier, so that we could grab something to eat before jumping on the train as early as at 7:18. There was a fishing game in which the kids could win small gifts, free ice cream, free fruits and free coffee/tea from the coffee machine throughout the day. Although this hotel, like everything in Danemark, was rather pricey, I think that we could get the most for our money! Special thanks to the helpful, always smiling and helpful staff! :)

It's an old building, so of course a few things could be improved... For instance the fact that there were no real blinders in the windows, no elevator (not mobility impairment friendly) and only a sloppy piece of wood instead of a ramp on the first floor. We also find it very odd that the Milling brand has a traditional of putting a (clean!) dustpan and broom in the middle of the bed to show that the room is clean. Couldn't that be replaced by something less unhygienic-looking, for instance a card with a dustpan and a broom painted in it? We had been in another Milling hotel previously so this didn't shock us this time, but we simply can't get used to the idea as it looks like a very hurried cleaning person just forgot it there 😂😂

The room was tidy and big enough for one person. The breakfast is nice as always, plenty of things to pick. The location is perfect, 2 minutes away from the train station. It couldn't be any better, unless they managed to build the hotel ON TOP of the actual station. There are 'common' areas on the ground floor where you can chat, drink some tea or coffee (for free) Have been here a few times already, can highly recommend.

The room was a single and very comfortable for my 1 night stay. Breakfast offered plenty of choices and the dining area was spacious and stylish. Reception staff were welcoming and friendly. The hotel reflects its grand history and was in much better condition than I was expecting. Availability of cake and coffee, and icecream machine, in the afternoon was welcome.

The elevator needs a deep clean. My tv didn't work - reception staff tried very hard to find a solution but without success; I was offered an alternate room but it was already 9pm and I was leaving in the morning so didn't bother moving for 1 hour of tv. Lack of kettle in room was offset by availability of tea/coffee on the ground floor.

The breakfast was excellent and had lots of fresh and tasty options. Check in and check out were both very easy and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The location next to the station and within easy walking distance of the town center was very convenient.

At this time of year(June) it is still light late at night and again very early in the morning. The curtains in the room were not very thick and so the room became light very early. If you are a light sleeper or jet-lagged it can be difficult to get to sleep in a light room.

Small extra surprises included during the day, such as as coffee, tea, ice creams, fruit and in the afternoon cakes

The place before the train station is noisy in the weekend during nights. Also, there was no handy man (on call) during the weekend. Our ventilation was not working and could therefore not be fixed during our stay. That I found sloppy for an otherwise outstanding hotel

Whilst this property is fairly old and maybe needs a little bit of attention I do like it - this was my second stay here. The staff are good, the location is fantastic being opposite the train station and, of course, the free ice cream is great.

Property a little dated but this doesn't spoil things

Fabulous breakfast with lots of choices. While the rooms didn't have any kitchenette, good coffee and tea were always available any time of day or night. In the afternoons, there were cakes and fresh fruit provided in the comfortable lobby. The location was excellent...steps from the train station and an easy walk to shops, cafes, galleries and museums.

My North American entitlement always wants two pillows!
