The view of the lake and castle was beautiful. We loved walking the trail along the lake to get to and from the bus/train station, get to restaurants, etc. The apartment was just the right size for two adults and two young adult children. The shower was a little tight, but we did appreciate the clothesline to dry clothes. It was very helpful to have laundry facilities open 24 hours a day, but the translation was a little difficult to understand.

The apartment got warm at night, when we had to close the windows due to noise from the birds and outside noise. The reception did provide fans, which helped.

Location by the lake with constant views of swans and ducks right from our apartment. Short walk to a castle which we visited before checking in (discount tickets purchased at apartment hotel registration desk). Also right next to an excellent ice cream shop. Easy walk to restaurants. Our well equipped apartment was an ingenious circular design. Great use of space.

Bedroom was not large enough to open suitcases to unpack. There was a desk and chair in a separate alcove but oddly no electrical outlet there. Breakfast just wasn't for me, including the taste of the coffee. Cereal looked like it should be good and crisp but was chewy like cardboard. Almost all the food items were sized in miniature. Maybe this cuts down on waste but leads to guests constantly going back for more, making it feel very crowded. I guess I expected full size danish in Denmark!

Wonderful location next to the Castle Lake (many swans and ducks paddling about) with the restored castle looming just a short walk away. A very relaxed atmosphere, with a spacious apartment and basic kitchen facilities. The TVs support Chromecast, which was a nice bonus. Also, apparently right next.to Kolding's best ice cream shop, which deserves the plaudits. Really like the almost communal nature of the place, particularly the formalized loan desk where you can borrow all sorts of things -- kitchen appliances, board games, and son -- to make the stay more pleasant.

The location of the apartment - it is right next to Kolding Castle. Only 5-8 minutes walk from the train station. Our apartment was overlooking the lake. Cafe/restaurants are just mins away. We highly recommend Cafe Paraplyen (a charity cafe run by volunteers) - cozy environment; friendly staff and very accommodating eg food not on the menu but they would make it for you if you ask- e.g hard boiled eggs- multiple pieces of rye bread with the most fantastic strawberry jam!). A full breakfast with tea/coffee and juice costs under 50 danish krones.

Maybe the sofa needs updating...

The location was very good, right in the center with hiking opportunities within walking distance. The apartments were large with kitchens, blinds in front of the windows. The receptionists were nice. It was possible to charge an electric car in the parking lot. There were restaurants nearby. The ice cream bar located next to the driveway had very good ice cream.

The stairs up to the apartment were a bit difficult, as we had a couple of elderly people in the tour group. But we could perhaps have informed ourselves of this before arrival, but we did not know this from the description of the place.

The position and the room were very clean, and it was possible to see the lake from the living room. The rack dryer is possible to borrow at the reception. Pods for the dishwasher are free, but don't ask anymore (for cooking) because they don't give you.

Washing machines and dry clothes was expensive. No salt no pepper no oil. the receptionist was kind but not very helpful

excellent location. we had a view over the lake and it was beautiful. it was quiet. we rented bikes which was also marvelous. but be aware that they have no motor and denmark is hilly.

the kitchen could use a little polishing. and it would be nice to have oil and salt and basic stuff like that.

Apartment was spacious for family of four.

There is no air condition and for the summer weeks the apartment gets really hot. Bathroom and kitchen would need an upgrade to function better. As there is no proper iv in the bathroom it gets very humid and is diffucult to get it dry. Would also recommend that there would be more amenities in the kitchen.

Set next to a beautiful pond with walking paths, park, restaurants, and shopping nearby. Quiet, peaceful, and comfortable stay. The hotel has tons of “extras” in case you forgot something or “extras” that you didn’t even think about wanting or needing during your stay like a BQ grill, games, books, appliances, and so much more! staff were very nice and helpful.

Only one dryer for two washers in the laundry area which bottlenecked the process.

The appartment looks very cool and it is clean. The people in the reception are really nice and friendly.

The seating area isn't very comfortable although it looks nice. Would have been better if the window-covers/ curtains had been movable (so you dont have to roll them completely down if you want some privacy).
