We had a pleasant one-night stay at Milling Hotel Søpark in Maribo. The staff was very friendly, and the receptionist on the day of our arrival was especially accommodating, which made for a warm welcome. The hotel’s location is excellent, offering a scenic view of Maribo Lake and the cathedral, which adds to the charm of the stay. The room was adequately equipped, and the complimentary afternoon cake was a lovely extra touch that made the experience even better. Breakfast was decent, with a reasonable selection.

While the room had everything necessary for a comfortable stay, it could benefit from some modernization to enhance comfort and aesthetics.

I had an issue during my stay where dogs in the neighboring room were left alone while their owner went out for dinner. They barked nonstop, which was not only very annoying but also quite sad to hear. It really disturbed the peace of the evening. However, I want to give credit to the reception staff—they took my complaint seriously and handled the situation promptly. I really appreciated their quick and professional response.

The staff at the reception was not very friendly We arrived a little early and asked if it was possible to check in but the answer was that we were only staying for one night so we had to wait an hour We asked about the restaurant and were told there would be a buffet turned out the restaurant was closed so no dinner being a small town Marino does not have a lot of options to offer a big jet down we should have been told when we reserved

Staff very friendly. Travelling with pets no problems - they do have a charge of 300 DKK for two dogs. Nice area around the hotel to walk your dogs!!! Beds comfortable. Duvets unnecessary because the room was quite hot and no fan / AC (which is normal in this parts of the world). Recommended.

It's a pity there is only a buffet in the evening at the restaurant. That said, the food was good. But if you're just peckish and don't want a full meal at 275 DKK, then get something at the local pizzeria.

There are fruits and coffee for free the whole day, and small snacks in the afternoon (also for free). Having a bit food, sitting at the windows looking out at the beautiful lake, it’s very relaxing for families with small kids.

The receptionist when I check in was not polite, she was very annoyed when I ask whether she could change my rooms to lake side, there were a lot of rooms available so it should be possible, she did it but was quite impatient. All the other people working in the hotel are super friendly and nice

Good breakfast. No noise and clean rooms, free coffee, cookies and softice is really a plus. Free and plenty of parking. Location very nice and nice view to beautiful lake and nature.

Staff were muted and not smiling much. A smile and a "good morning" would have been nice.

The place is really beautiful, the park next to a lake was perfect for a morning walk and the village is quite lovely. The breakfast was very good and the staff friendly. Practical location close to Rødby harbour.

We were travelling with a dog and probably the room was a pet room - it could have smelled fresher. The bathroom also had a weird smell. The room could be renovated. The extra beds in a family room are fine for small children, a bit small for teenagers. However for one night it was perfectly fine.

The hotel is really close to the lake (we had a room with a lake view) and this is amazing! so beautiful and relaxing! The hotel is 5-minute walk from the train station, there is a pizza place and a kiosk right next to the hotel and few more places to eat not far away. The room is huge, with a balcony. Shower is OK. Breakfast and the restaurant facility is excellent. There is an option to leave the baggage in the front desk if you need.

The water in the front desk is really expensive, go 2 minutes to the kiosk nearby.

Atmosphere, location and facilities are really nice. It seems like a well-preserved old hotel, but with all and maybe more facilities you need. Staff also very friendly with english knowledge. Free coffee is available in the reception lobby, while most of the room booking include breakfast. The breakfast itself also contains all things it should. Overall very satisfied.

Perhaps the beds, as they are spring beds, which is not a personal favorite. The bathroom, although spacious and clean, it really needs some renovation. Hair dryer available, after requesting it in the reception.

Beautiful place, the view was great! Great place to relax..without distractions and enjoy a totally restful holiday

I had read "Sauna" and "Dart" but when we went to have some fun inside the hotel the sauna was out of service and there were no dart just a pool table. All good and beautiful but I would suggest a little more entertainment as the village is rather small and there is not much to do around. In any case as relaxation and cleaning nothing to say!
