The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. They did all they could to make us feel at home. The breakfast was excellent! A great value as it was included in our room rate. It has a beautiful outdoor seating area and it’s in a park so it’s very scenic and family friendly. The decor in the rooms is very up to date and very clean.

The location. This hotel would have been perfect if it had been a little closer to city center or if there had been restaurants and stores nearby. But that can’t be helped and we were aware of its location when we booked it. On the plus side it is an easy walk to town and it is in a beautiful park. We had a view of the lake from our room.

Staff was very welcoming, and the breakfast was superb even had separate ares for gluten-free with an exclusive toaster. There is a lovely park adjacent to the hotel which we discovered used to be a famous motor racing circuit and is well worth exploring or just enjoy a walk.

The location is not central, we found the walk into town or down to the key was a bit uninteresting and quite a long way however the station is about a 15 minute walk mostly through the park and this was very convenient for a day by train to Copenhagen.

The breakfast was really good. The staff was very polite and friendly. The park around the hotel is so pretty if someone wants to walk or hike. The rooms were comfortable and clean!

The check-in queue was too long. They didn’t clean our room on the next day which was surprising. The location is far from the Roskilde city Centre. It’s about 20 mins walk and most days it was raining so we had to take a taxi and that wasn’t the best part. We didn’t plan to use taxis as they can get expensive.

The breakfast was exceptional and I upgraded my rating for that reason. We travel a lot and this might be the best breakfast I have had in 6 months. The room itself was fine, nothing special. It was did not have a tea kettle, which I generally like to have but was otherwise comfortable. We only stayed one night and did not spend any time in the room other than to sleep. The property had free parking and was easy to find.

We had two connecting rooms, one had a fan, the other did not. I would recommend fans in both rooms during summer.

Excellent breakfast. Location was good too, hotel is surrounded by a lovely park and is about 10-15 min walk to the town centre.

We had a family room for 4 (a double bed and bunk beds). The bunk beds are designed so that they are packed away into a wall/cupboard when not in use and unfortunately the top bunk was really uncomfortable (with a shelf sticking out above one’s head), my 10 y.o. struggled to sleep even though he is used to bunk beds . Apart from that, it was a nice and clean room.

Every aspect of our experience here was excellent. We chose the hotel as it was very close to Roskilde hospital where my husband had an outpatient procedure. We had no expectations that the hotel would be as good as it turned out to be. Service was excellent and that includes an outstanding bartender and dining room staff. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is cozy, clean, and has a really nice atmosphere. I felt comfortable during my stay and would definitely come back.

The pillows were not very comfortable. Also, just a small advice: if a guest makes a mistake, it would be better to mention it privately rather than saying it out loud in front of everyone.

Location is top notch. Quiet park in the back. Breakfast was really good and with a lot of choices - waffle maker was a hit with our son. The staff was really nice and helpful. Free gym. Close to the train station making it a perfect spot to go to Copenhagen.

The beds were too soft. A matter of opinion but I do prefer harder ones.

The bedroom and the breakfast were both very good. Staff friendly.

Had to request that the room was to be cleaned daily and had fresh towels. Seemed a bit weird. Also preordered a taxi from reception the night before we were due to leave and in the morning no taxi was there. The girl on the desk hadn’t booked it. The man on duty then had to get one quickly. We just about made our connection.

I've stayed at this Scandic several times and love their breakfast, as well as its calm and quiet location. It's a 10-15min walk from the train station, but it's worth the walk.
