Everything about the hotel was amazing, from the host greeting us and taking us to our room. Everything was perfect, Included Breakfast is always a plus and it was to order. The staff lovely. The property was beautiful and romantic.

Maybe no kids so that is more suitable for adults :-) The kids splashing in the pool was not enjoyable it was a small pool. However in the rooftop pool maybe no kids there were kids as well jumping. Just my opinion.

Great hotel design, amazing food options, friendly staff, free/secured parking.

The second visit to the hotel and the second time the hot water is cut! The first time was exactly a year ago and faced the same issues. Hard to accept that there has not been a fix since then. The solution was somewhat laggier/lower budget this year (last year we got an upgrade to the presidential suite!). First, we were offered another room, then it turned out the water supply got a quick fix, so we stayed in the room but missed dinner time due to the delay. We were offered a dinner with room service, courtesy of the hotel. Hot water was a bit on and off the next days too, I think they have serious issues with the boiler that hasn't been fixed in a year... :(

The way the breakfast was organised, we were two persons and it was unclear what could be ordered in two or just one portion without extra payment. It seemed that the hotel was trying to save money on minor things like the breakfast menu which made us wonder what was the point of having to pay to have, for example, two portions of granola yoghurt, one for each one of us as it should normally be. Majority of guests were anyway having dinner at the hotel so the restaurant does make a profit. Also, the lounger on the room balcony was rotten and could not be used. Regular maintenance or replacement is recommended.

Very nice hotel, 5 to 7 min drive to the beach. Staff was really nice, restaurant food is good, the room is spacious and clean, they had happy hour from 6 to 7 . There is a small convenience store 1 min walk from there. Stayed 4 nights, 1 day drove to samana and took 1 hr.

A quiet, cozy and peaceful place in a bustling place like las Terrenas. We loved everything about our stay. My biggest concern was that it might be loud inside the rooms, but it is definitely not - rather the opposite. I especially loved the super comfy bed - probably the best I had in a hotel since many years. I also really liked the decent balmy scent of wood within the hotel room. Natural and yet luxurious. A lot of attention is payed to small welcoming details like petit prince shampoo and shower gel for our kids. The restaurant is very good too - dinner was so yummy and breakfast even more.

To keep up this standard it will be essential to invest in small maintenances like treatments for the wooden doors, sunloungers or exchanging torn bathroom fittings. The water in the main pool was not as clear and inviting. Maybe a better water circulation system would improve that.

From the moment you drive into the property, it’s breathtaking. Hanging light fixtures outside gives it a very boho look that’s also very inviting. I appreciate their Covid precautions as they sanitize your hands and feet before entry to the premises. My favorite thing is being greeted with a delicious cocktail by the welcoming staff. Check in was smooth and they give you a small tour of the hotel, which is small but very chic. The rooms are spacious and elegant. The hotel features accents of wood throughout. The restaurant downstairs provides an incredible quality breakfast and lunch/dinner. To start the day, we highly recommend the Dominican style breakfast and the salmon toast. We also recommend their delicious and buttery croissants provided once you are seated. At dinnertime, we thoroughly enjoyed the churrasco and ribs. The staff is truly so helpful and beyond kind. They were all very pleasant and full of smiles. Some gave us some dinner recommendations nearby such as “Dolce Vita” and “Oliva” and beautiful beaches such as Playa Bonita (Casa Grande) and Playa Moron. The hotel provided us with contacts for all the excursions we were interested in, and allowed us to pay all of them at the end of the trip. We took an ATV tour with Flora Tour, with Junior. He guided us through some fun and adventurous terrain. We made a stop to see how cocoa is made, and tried some delicious treats and Mamajuana. We felt that we got great value for our money and looking forward to our next trip to Las Terrenas, so that we can stay once again with Saman Boutique.

Very nice hotel, everything was clean (which is not standard in DR), service was perfect especially the kitchen, we have tried various places during our trip but the cook here was splendid. also the hotel offers strong wifi connection which is unusual in DR.

As we do not speak Spanish the communication in restaurant was sometimes bit tricky. Also first impression that the place is not close to beach was a negative point, but they have nice parking lot and its a bit calmer here than exactly next to beach, where it is loud from all the motorcycles.

This hotel is incredible - the staff are so friendly and couldn’t be more helpful, the food is out of this world, it’s so clean and the rooms are plush. From start to finish it was a wonderful experience staying here. Really recommend this hotel and Las Terranas.

This is the most minor, minor comment so don’t let it put you off, there could be a few more simple lunch options. The food is incredible and a few simple options for lunch would be great, but by no means let this put you off as it is a really minor observation

The hotel is nicely furnished, decorated and fitted out; nice modern, mid-size boutique; a blend of stone and wood. Super comfy room and bed. Nice large Smart TV. Bathroom had no bath, but a does feature a double shower and all the expected amenities. Comfy roof terrace with giant bean-bags and plunge pool. Fantastic kitchen and chef; great breakfast options included. Finally, the staff are super nice and helpful.

The location isn’t the best; recommend to hire some sort of transport e.g. an ATV

We loved everything here! This is one of the best hotels i’v been. Staff was super friendly and helpful, hotel was beautiful, bed was so comfy, food was so good. If we ever come back to Las Terrenas we will come here.

The only small minus is the location. We didn’t have a car or scooter so had to walk to the beach and the city, but that was our fault not the hotels. It was about 20min walk to the Playa Popy. We did see some cute baby goats on our way to the beach so it was nice. 😊 Neighbourhood is much more peaceful comparing to downtown Las Terrenas.
