The staff and location was just perfect. The resort is secluded so if you need peace and quiet, no loud parties and drunk adults, this is a great place. I was very disappointed with the rooms and facilities being really old. The quality really does not match the price. If the resort was with half board maybe. I would probably come again though because the resort is located on the beach very close to playa Bonita where you can just walk in few minutes. The staff was so much nicer than anywhere we stayed in Dominican Republic. Also, there’s no people on the beach trying to sell you stuff. That was really appreciated. No loud music at night. Food was ok but pricey. I would give 3,5* out of 5 only for location, staff and the fact there is a tennis court and table tennis which was really appreciated!

Comfortable, big rooms, good for work-action. Internet in rooms is solid. Staff at the reception is very friendly. Beach is nice.

Food at the restaurant is not great and super expensive. If you don’t have a car/scooter it’s hard to find other food. Taxis are expensive and supermarket is not walkable. Almost no other dinner restaurants in walkable distance. Around 5-6pm they ‘close’ the beach and you can’t get any towels/mattresses for the sun beds any more.

The beach is absolutely fantastic, among the best I have known -and I was born in the Caribbean Venezuela. Breakfast could have some upgrading, but it was good. Location and staff marvelous. Over everything the calm, tranquility, serenity, silence of this place.

The warm and welcoming staff, breakfast in the beachside restaurant after a morning swim at the lovely beach, and the fully appointed suites with kitchens. Next time, I'd love to experience the spa amenities.

It would be great to have wash clothes in the bathroom and paper towels and/or napkins for the kitchen.

amazing location, looks beautiful, the suite was spacious. Loved it reception and the security guard really helped us one night when motorbike taxi guys tried to rips us off by charging over 3 times the price of a ride.

It took two/three days to get the password to the internet to our room. For some reason they don’t have it in the rooms and we called and visited reception between 15-20 times to find out what the password is. The same handyman came twice to reset the router when he could clearly see that it was a password issue. it turned out they didn’t want to call their boss or message him to get the password- we basically had to be annoying for one evening and kept on calling until they messaged their boss to get the password. highly frustrating. just put the password in the welcome note and contact your boss as we’re paying guests!! if it hadn’t been for this I would have said 10/10 as we loved it.

This is my fourth stay at Sublime and I love the tranquility, the beach, and the facility. The rooms are very comfortable, best air conditioner!

I feel like the food quality has been downgrading and the service in the restaurants during breakfast time is not very good. Also, during this stay the room was not as clean. I spotted some dust in lots of places. There is also an employee that works in the front desk during the morning that has a very mean attitude.

Beautiful beach, wonderful, friendly staff, ample sun beds, spacious rooms.

The rooms lacked some luxury details. The showers had very low water pressure. The jacuzzis didn’t work— when we requested they be filled, they were filled with cold water and never drained or refilled. Some of the furniture in the house was worn and stained.

I go often. I love it there

The property was beautiful and so relaxing. the only sounds you’ll hear are the ocean, animals/birds, light saxophone/jazz music, and children in the early morning. very family friendly

the food was typical resort food catering to those wanting a European/American experience in q different country. if you’re looking for Dominican food you won’t find it here.
