We had 2 concierges Marcos and Carlos that made our 2 week honeymoon here fantastic! The weather is super hot and humid compared to where we live, so we were constantly asking Marcos and Carlos for more waters and sodas for our room. They both also helped with booking reservations for us at the reservation restaurants like Sakura and Dolce Vita. Housekeeping was amazing and always kept our room sparkling clean whenever we asked or didn't have the "do not disturb" sign up after a night of drinking lol. The bartenders were amazing and constantly kept our drinks full, even from our swim up pool. All servers at the restaurants and buffets were super attentive and very friendly. We did happen to get sick mid way through our stay and our one concierge, Carlos, made sure we were given extra waters and even had a free continental breakfast delivered to our room. You will never walk past a worker here that isn't smiling! The lagoon to the left of the resort was absolutely beautiful and even had a horse on the shore that was extremely friendly. Bingo was a big tradition during our stay and was always hosted by someone great and super energetic. We also really loved the foam party at the party pool on the El Beso side. We met tons of great people during our stay and this is definitely one to remember.

Like any resort, most of the food is somewhat lackluster and leaves a good bit to be wanted. There was always salt and pepper available on the tables, but unfortunately with the humidity, most of the salt shakers were clogged up. There was also quite a few translation errors that made it seem like we were ordering one thing at the non-buffet restaurants and were given something completely different. At the buffets, a lot of times we would come in and would pick up food that was already cold.

El Besos This property treated me as a QUEEN. It was the BEST birthday choice I did for my trip to the republic. My room was absolutely AMAZING. Had two jacuzzis and TWO sitting areas for outside. Roof access and balcony access. Give you all necessary ammenitites. Shower is amazing especially the double shower in the room. Service is impeccable! They really care about making everyone feel special from the beginning to the end. Everyone is extremly friendly. Highly enjoy that they communicate with guests via what’s app and inform guests of any events happening throughout the day where one can enjoy. Food is amazing. Expecially love the milk bar where coffee is offered throughout the day. Planning to return soon, and planning on celebrating my birthday here again. 100 out of 100.

This was my second time coming to El Beso and it never disappoints !!!!. I have really enjoyed the place. The Food Exceeded our expectations! The room was very nice and the pools were outstanding. Loved the beach and all the actives that were there for us. When we checked in we had a bottle of wine in our room. and then had very special cookies delievered to our room The place is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cant believe they started serving Coke zero it was very nice

The property is beautiful. I would definitely visit again. Miguel (BellBoy) was awesome and Javier (Adult pool bar) was also awesome they made our stay so easy and comfortable and spoke English good enough to hold a conversation with.

So the Steak House was not so good (Food) that’s the only problem I really had. I do feel like most of the staff didn’t speak enough English which was very frustrating to me because I have to look for someone who spoke fluent English.

The room was absolutely beautiful. The hanging chair on the patio was the most beautiful place to relax at the end of the day, even in the rain the patio stayed mostly dry. Staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant staff were awesome and were able to get us into the busier restaurants a few times when we weren't able to make a reservation. Pez Dama is awesome!! It's exclusive to El Baso guests and right on the beach. The beach was beautiful, loved the hammocks right on the beach. Lots of vendors on the beach depending what time you are there, be ready to say no a few times (just tell them you have no cash if you aren't interested.) The theatre has fun shows most nights, make sure you check them out. Volunteer for the icebreakers before the show, they're fun! We went in September, the off season, so the resort was pretty empty. It was amazing!! Very few children around, even in the regular resort areas. Nice and quiet, loved it!

Beautiful grounds. Swim-up rooms were great. The lagoon next to the hotel was the perfect place to swim. The El Beso part of the resort was fantastic, especially the adults-only restaurant on the beach. The lobby is beautifully designed and has a fascinating architectural concept, and the lobby bar and piano bar were really elegant. The buffets were surprisingly good for an all-inclusive resort.

The theme-based restaurants were strangely not as good as the buffets.

El Faro/El Beso is an excellent choice for a vacation. The staff is attentive and available at all times. The rooms are spacious and clean. The site restaurants are delicious, having many options for every palate. Every day has activities available for adults and children. You can be as busy or as lazy as you choose. The resort is perfect.

I have zero complaints.

What i like about this property was they have everything inside the resort. You dont need to go out. They have couple of restaurants to choose from. The drinks in the el beso pool bar are the best. Shout out to Francis (the best bartender). If you just want to relax and not party too much, pick Ocean El faro.

Trolly should have designated time of pick up for guests.

The hotel was vast with great facilities and many excellent restaurants with premium drinks being part of our all inclusive package.

Some Reception staff were abrupt/rude, upselling was tiresome by some concierge.

The property is huge and beautiful! There are so many pools, the lazy river was my favorite! The Route 66 diner was best dinner option.

You could never get a reservation at the specialty restaurants. We were told go at 6, we went at 6, they don’t take reservations they just put your name on a list with no idea how long it will be. One told us to come back in 2 to 2 1/2 hrs….another one gave us a pager but you had to stay in that area or Libby, waited 45 minutes, went back they hadn’t moved down the list at all. Apparently this is a time share, we had no idea and didn’t agree to this. The first day a man was trying to set up a sales call at 9:30am the next morning…I’m on vacation! Them they would stop you randomly on the property and harass you. By day 3 we were tired of the food choices. All the pools and pool bars closed at 6pm, I thought that was extremely early.
