The staff driving the shuttle carts were very rude and would not let certain people on

I can say only great things about this resort! First of all, we had a Guest Experience Specialist (Reinaldo Sanchez) on our first day, before check-in he already had everything organized for us and scheduled, all the reservations for the restaurants, every morning sent us the daily activities that the hotel has and offered! Our stay was a family vacation and we were with our little one, I requested a crib, but incredibly he had that all set up for us before check-in! In the buffet, the food was fantastic, and the service/staff were wonderful. A big variety of food and options for everyone. Our oldest is on the spectrum and she was treated with respect and they were always so welcoming with her and did give us all the accommodations so she can feel comfortable (at the restaurants, buffet, at the show, game areas, at the pools everywhere) ❤️ I'll share some pictures about, Reinaldo and our man at the buffet Ronaldo! No complaints about the staff or this resort!

This resort is a perfect spot for both families and adults!! They have El Beso which is exclusively for adults only section, with pools & restaurants on the adult side. The family side is equipped for all ages!! We went for our 16 year wedding anniversary & our room door had a banner that said in both Spanish & English “Happy Anniversary”. The bed had a heart made from their towels & flowers. And a bottle of wine. Of course we stayed on the adult side but we experienced both sides! The restaurants are good & need reservations but the one we liked the best was El Mercado, the buffet one. The best part of our stay was our Concierge, Jose Miguel!! He was hands down the best!! Anything we needed, he delivered. He would even ask if we needed reservations in advance for any restaurant. He was literally available to us all day!! He made sure we enjoyed our stay at all times, even on his off days!! I can go on and on as this place was Paradise for us & loved every second of it!! Most definitely recommend Ocean El Faro! And don’t forget to ask for Jose Miguel!!

Property was great but we couldn’t go into the beach because it was over populated by seaweed!! To the extent that it was picked up daily by a tractor & placed in dump trucks! Some of the staff were not too nice, but the majority were! The gift shop is WAY Over Priced!!

The staff was so hospitable Jose the host was excellent👌 I had fell in the room cause the shower was leaking thru the bathroom wall on the room floor,and Jose was so understanding and called maintenance they came right away caulking the wall and the floor it was so amazing, went to the Asian food place on the resort the people was so nice my fiance birthday they celebrated with us so wonderful im going to tell 100 of my friends to stay there when they travel

That I had to leave, the steak house on property was not good over cooked steak, food was cold no good, and the diner place on property it was hair in my food and the glasses of water was spotty other then that everything else was good

The variety of things to do at the hotel.

The drink machines on the beach need to be cleaned. Got food poisoning twice. The first time couldn't narrow it down but after I got sick again after only being at the beach I figured out it's not as sanitary.

Friendly staff from waiters to bell boy, bartenders, guest services, privelege , speak good English, great food selection.. privilege restaurant food and service was great.

Pools not so clean. Never seen anyone clean pools. Service at steak house and blue moon very slow. Items on menu sold out if you have late night reservation. Exhaust fan and ac not working in Japanese restaurant. I would like more wine selection by glass, not just one red, rose, white. (8 ounces for $10 is ok). Price too high for one bottle of wine from menu and i cant drink one bottle of wine at once ( solo traveller).

The property is very nice. The entertainment was good every night. Bowling alley & VR arcade were a hit although it’s not part of the all inclusive. My daughter loved the water park & kids club. The lazy river was my favorite place to be. Food at the other restaurants were good & I had no problems getting reservations. I really enjoyed my stay.

The food at the buffet was very mediocre. They need to do a lot better at cleaning the tables right away after others are done eating so that other people can have a place to sit & eat. Not only was it hard for me & my daughter to find a clean table to sit & eat at but a lot of times there was no silverware or we had to wait a long time just to receive water.

this was my partners & I’s first time out of the country and overall the resort/staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt safe & comfortable. Even decorated our room for my partners birthday. The staff was very welcoming & our gentleman Jose was so friendly helping us get settled,getting us reservations, also answering all my questions/concerns any time of the day. It is alittle far from the airport but I think it was well worth it. 10/10 experience and we will definitely be back!!

The staff and food at this resort were on top, and the bed was comfortable . The staff were very welcoming leaving us a bottle of champagne for our anniversary, with a note left in our frig we got our mini bar stocked every morning. The multiple swimming pools with a lazy river. Multiple pool bars and restaurants to choose from. The staff welcomed us upon arrival. Please remember that these staff members rely on rips to survive and will greatly increase your overall experience.

The beach, the beach, is a coral reef, which is impossible to safely swim on. It was very disappointing as a beach lover. To the right of the property, you have a small section that had a sandy beach, and then a cove on public land was to the left side of the property. Finally, keep in mind that February is a college break for Canadian students, making it impossible to actually get a beverage at some of these pool bars as they over took them with a crowd. Being woken at 1am by a rowdy group of college students screaming and yelling outside our balcony breaking lamp posts was very disheartening and disturbing.

Good and with a lot of variety

The supply and replacement of some products was delayed.
