I loved the lively atmosphere at the Hard Rock Cafe Punta Cana. The decor really captured the rock-and-roll spirit. The food was delicious, especially the burgers and signature cocktails. The hotel is huge, and riding the train made it easy to move around. The live music and entertainment added to the overall great experience.

One thing I didn't like was that the bartenders were not friendly and seemed almost upset when making drinks, which affected the overall experience at the bar. At first, I thought it was a one-off thing, but I noticed the same experience at every bar in the hotel. Additionally, while the hotel offers a lot of amenities, sometimes the wait times for service were longer than expected, especially during busy hours. It would have been great to see more attentive service to match the rest of the experience. Some areas of the hotel could also use a bit of maintenance to keep up with its impressive appearance

the resort is HUGE and takes forever to get around. We probably spent 2+ hours per day of our vacation just getting around from our room to the pools and back (for example). You'll probably spend at least 30 minutes getting to the restaurants or main boardwalk (where most of the restaurants and entertainment are located) each and every meal. Expect more time depending which of the countless huge buildings your room is located. They do have a guest trolley system that is efficient and works well, but it's still a lengthy endeavor to do something as simple as get from your room in building 8C to the beach or pools. Seriously, bring walking shoes. It's HUGE.

The weirdest thing was that they had only a handful of umbrellas around swimming pools, and most of them were claimed by people leaving their towels and belongings overnight there. If they could buy more umbrellas, that would make a huge difference.

The staff was pretty good and accommodating. The proximity to the beach was great. The water park and pools were a hit with the family. Overall the property was a nice experience. Given the number of people the property was hosting the support staff did a good job. We enjoyed the fresh tropical fruits and many of the drinks.

Had issues with language barriers, as we didn't speak Spanish. We did have issues when communicating with staff that handled food service. There are limited choices for vegetarians. While most of the food was prepared fresh which was great, we did notice the seasoning was not there. The food dishes had to be substituted may be due to lack of supply. Example a dish requiring lamb shank was substituted by chops or missing feta cheese in salads etc.

Check in was smooth and easy. there were many employees in the lobby willing to help. There’s also people offering vacation packages waiting until check in is done to give a short welcome orientation and sign you up for a breakfast presentation. I read reviews that the hotel did not accept Amex, but I had no problem using my card… it was the tour’s transportation that only accepted Visa or Mastercard The hotel surroundings are beautiful, many blooming gardens. Room was nice. Beds were comfortable. Our favorite pool was the Eden pool. It was empty in the morning, had it all to ourselves. Also enjoyed that there’s a soft serve machine there The beach is stunning, white sand and many different shades of blue and turquoise. It’s cleaned every morning so there’s not a lot of seaweed buildup. One must be cautious when sea bathing due to strong waves and currents, but there are always several lifeguards on duty. People pass by offering photos with monkeys and macaws, but they are respectful and do not insist if you are not interested. Since we were on our wedding anniversary, we decided to do a photo shoot. It was super fun and the photos came out stunning! We did the dolphin tour. The hotel made all the arrangements and everything ran very smoothly. It was a wonderful experience to be able to swim with the dolphins. The location is just a short ride away. We also enjoyed a day at the spa. Highly recommend hydrotherapy and couple’s massage. Food was great, many options to choose from. We loved Ciao for breakfast and lunch (no reservations needed). Toro Steakhouse was very good too.

There were mosquitoes in the room

My family and I loved the different options and accessibility of food and bars. There is absolutely no way of going hungry with all of the inclusive food, and almost every location had a bar except for the water park. The kids loved the water park and all of the different pools to choose from. My daughter loved the kids club and as a parent this is a major plus. Almost every kid (including mine) that came out of kid club did not want to leave when they were picked up. This made me feel super comfortable and happy to see as a mom. The hotel is both family oriented and a great time for adult groups as well.

There isn’t much to complain about with the property to be honest. If I had to say there were any dislikes, I guess I would say the fact that the arcade was not included. I understand bowling and the escape room being an extra fee but we were kind of disappointed about the arcade not being included. Aside from that, we did have one instance with one front desk employee that was not very kind or pleasant. She was the only employee we encountered who I feel should probably look for excellence elsewhere, as it seemed she did not enjoy what she does.

in general a goos experience . decent number of restaurants, lots of activities. lots of pools. multiple shops and entertainment outlets , good for family with kids. nice beach. decent golf course.

using Hyatt Ziva as benchmark , restaurant quality is not as good. not sure if they have an adult only) section but very noise pool music is on nine to five and lots of kids around , not sure that is the best combination. Legendary Vacation people lie to your face saying they are the only contact point for booking activities and they use the contact point to aggressively push for membership sale. be aware. just check in and call the relevant extension to book for anything

Beautiful landscape, numerous activities for our teenagers. Wonderful, helpful staff.

The room had two broken handrails next to the steps. The towel rack in the bathroom was broken. Also, for the amount we paid for “all inclusive “ the additional cost for escape room, laser tag, golf carts and flow rider should have been free as well! ANYTHING inside the resort SHOULD have been included in the price! The food was just ok overall. We thought the Zen restaurant was amazing though!

All services and facilities were spectacular.

The only negative thing to say is that one of the drivers who transported people inside the hotel did not behave properly on several occasions. Talking in a bad tone and not telling us to get off the transport because we were only going to the next stop. And we truly have the same right as everyone to take that transport and not walk regardless of the distance. Her name is Edwin and he ran the TR-16 line.
