The free onsite (covered) parking was very nice to have. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, and the bedspread was the perfect weight - we could sleep with the temperature in the room turned down and still be comfortable under our bedding. The breakfast buffet was the best I have ever had. Great selection, excellent quality.

My only complaint is a small one, but something the front desk staff should keep in mind when checking in any guests. The lobby was not busy at the time I checked in, but feeling secure in your surroundings is very important. As a woman traveling alone with a young child I wasn't too happy when the front desk person called out my room number rather than showing it to me on the key envelope. Just a reminder about maintaining the privacy of your guests.

Things to know There is no ice machine, only one bottle of free water and no vending machine for drinks. the minibar is fully stocked but is way overpriced. next time I will bring a little more water and a soda. The lights work if you leave your key in the slot just inside the door. otherwise nothing but the bathroom light works. it would have been good to be told this at check in. be sure to buy breakfast on booking . com. its more expensive onsite but definitely worth it.

I could hear some music from a nearby club late at night

I liked the location ... Near restaurants,, shopping, entertainment. I liked the room size options I liked the buffet breakfast that was included I liked restaurant in property...had great food options 24/7. I enjoyed the lounge on the property...I could party with locals while feeling safe.

I would encourage the hotel to advise guests that the music from the lounge may be disturbing in the early morning. And giving them the option to choose a room that is further away from the lounge. Or the hotel can improve on better sound proofing material for the lounge.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel, and once again, it exceeded our expectations. The Casa Vera restaurant offers delicious food at very reasonable prices. The rooms are impeccable and immaculate, the sheets are impeccable, and the entire staff's attention is 10 out of 10. They are all very friendly and provide exceptional service. The hotel also has excellent security and a beautiful pool area, perfect for relaxing. The croquettes are delicious, and the overall experience is fantastic. W&P has become our preferred hotel in the Dominican Republic, and we will stay here whenever we visit. We highly recommend it, 100%!"

Breakfast buffet was good different variety each day.

I didn't like that they only gave one complimentary water & then put another in the room & tag it that "if you drink it you have to pay for it" also they could put a snack or two in the room...didn't like that you couldn't take your breakfast to your room....also y'all need more bilingual people.

The staff was friendly and facilities were very clean. I found W&P by searching “safest hotels.” I was traveling solo and safety is my first priority. The hotel was secure, clean, restaurant and bar on the premises. The staff were very friendly and professional. I would absolutely stay here again:
