I liked the location. I like Daniellio he works at night! He made our stay in DR worth it 🙂he speaks English . He told us how to take the taxi and bus plus we speak English in a Spanish creole speaking country 🤣🤣🤣 it was funny using peso and try to translate what they were saying 🤣🤣 no habla espanol 🤣🙂. I had a wonderful time 🥳🥳🥳thank you Daniellio and the other guy for your help I appreciate it 😃😃

The lady receptionist that worked in the day at the hotel is the worst of all. Extremely poor customer service except for high end paying customers they get better treatment. Face not pleasant 😡. She should work in the back of the hotel.

While the PLAZA de INDEPENDENCIA (the ZONA HISTORICA COLONIAL) is a better location for seeing the Capital, this hotel is good for an arrival by SHIP!!! Near the Malecon...One of the RECEPTION DESK is a guy who LOVES TO PRACTICE HIS ENGLISH with you...(I believe his name is JOSE?) Nice guy!! BIG ROOMS, Free morning coffee, restaurant attached to this Property.

There are only 3 restaurants in this immediate area...

The manager and the front desk worker was very helpful..even though they didn’t speak English they tried..I booked for 11 nights and I have to leave before And the manager was so kind she gave me a credit for the other night..I will definitely stay here again

I like it because is a quiet place , the girl in the restaurant so friendly and kind, house keeping did a good job , people in the front desk are amazing.

I didn’t like the room I was # 108 because the toilet need to chanje is too old even though they clean it still look ugly , after that everything was great.

I had a horrible experience with the restaurant,breakfast was very disappointing same thing everyday ,the restaurant owner was very rude ,unpleasant and full of attitude worst service ever the corner shop treated us 110% better ,Hotel Santander needs a better breakfast service ….

The hotel met and slightly exceed our expectation for a 2-star hotel. The staff was quick and helpful, even with a little bit of a language burrier. The complementary breakfast was quite delicious, a printed menu would have been helpful though.

We would have appreciated getting a few extra pillows, but we were fine other then that. No complaints.

I love the toast, eggs and coffee. The staff is friendly. The location is quite! The price is great! I feel like I did not leave my house. I feel safe in there! I am planning to come back for next time vacation.

The rooms need to be updated but for a 2 start hotel is not bad for the price. The towels are horrible!

I went there for 3 night I enjoy my stay I felt comfortable and safe ,the front desk men that check us in was respectful and nice.Place was clean and the red carpet make beautiful pictures for souvenirI .Iwill go back again for a longer stay.

There was not a mini fridge in my room that I requested and was willing to pay a little extra for but it's okay next time I will carry a thermos .overall my stay at Santander was good.

It's a great place if you're cool laid back chill persons. If you're bugie, then you may want to go elsewhere. Place clean, staff is nice. Great prices. And also in good area. Close to everything. I spent my 1st few days in a Piantini hotel. It was extremely nice looking , but they was a little "racist"

The breakfast was small, but decent.

The wifi signal was weak at times and there wasn’t any hot water in the shower the first night.
